This course has had its ups and downs thru the years. It is trending up. The bunkers and greens are in good shape. The fairways can get a little soggy because as we all know it’s Florida and it rains in the swamp.If you want to enjoy the natural wild life and some challenging golf then Twin Rivers is a great place.

Great layout. Very wet at times. Greens are way better than they used to be. Fun course to play with plenty of wildlife.

Avoid this place at all cost. Staff is extremely rude to paying customers. Plenty of better places to play who treat there customers with respect

I hadnt played this course in quite some time and I really love the layout. I could tell that in normal circumstances it was well maintained and the greens were in great shape.That said, the day that we played the course it had been extremely rainy the previous week. The course was borderline unplayable. Besides being muddy and full of standing water almost everywhere except the greens, the fairways were consistently under at least a 1/4 of an inch of water throughout the entire course. In addition to hitting every ball out of the muck we slipped and slid our way in and out of the carts all day long and were covered in mud when we finished. The course really should not have even been open.We made the choice to play, but heres my beef. We booked our tee time on Golfnow at a $55 rate that was a few dollars higher than the normal rate for the course on their website. There is NO WAY that the course should have been charging the full rate that day. $55 was just completely out of line for the conditions.Ive played for many years all over Central Florida, and when a course is that unplayable, most pro shops will tell you that BEFORE you get out to the tee. AND most courses will NOT charge the full rate for those conditions.I went in and talked to the guy in the pro shop at the turn and while he was very apologetic, he did nothing to make it right.I run golf events for a large Central Florida organization and you can be sure that I wont be bringing our group our here anytime soon, even if the conditions are dryer. What they did just wasnt right....

This place has come along way since the city of Oviedo took it over. Greens were in fantastic shape and this is a very tough course so bring lots of balls. Especially hole number 17 which always gives me a hard time. This time I think I lost two balls on that one hole. So good luck on your play it’s definitely worth it.

Course is in fine shape and greens are fast its a long course very challenging and all personnel on staff are friendly and very helpful will return

Course looks like it needs a little more maintenance than what is getting. Lots of crabgrass in the fairways. A few cart paths are falling apart. Sad the course has an awesome layout. City of Oviedo start putting the penny increase in property tax to fix the course.

Plenty of challenges. A fun and enjoyable course. The bunkers could use a little work, but it is a pleasure to play there.

The course looks phenomenal. Traps are actual sand traps. Greens are smooth. Fairways are great. My new favorite place to golf. Just need to improve my game.

Nice course in very good shape tee to greens. Nice variety and lots of challenges. Got a bit jammed up with a 3 some in front of a single, in front of another single, in front of us a twosome. First time playing it and would recommend. Nice, friendly staff too. They took the time to say thank you for playing Twin Rivers, and thats a classy touch. Some places treat you like theyre doing you a favor for letting you play their course. This place made us feel very welcome. Highlight was seeing a group of baby alligators that must have just been hatched and seeing mama gator keeping a close eye on them.

Played today, course was in very good shape, price was excellent. Gave a military discount, salute to Owner/Management. Only issue was 2 hours and 40 minutes to play 9. Saw ranger twice and he stated pace of play was, and I quote exceptionally good (?). All of us were a little confused and unfortunately had enough. It was difficult enough dealing with the heat and at this pace, it became intolerable. We had to just leave after 9 holes seeing obviously no one was willing to move things along. * just a side note, I love this game and if we want our younger generation to play and enjoy golf, pace of play has to be enforced. I know my son would have walked off the course after 4 or 5 holes, probably not to return. This can be accomplished respectfully, it didnt today. Hope to return sometime to play the back.

Greatly improved course from years past, greens roll great, weeds in fairways are going away, bunkers are in best shape Ive ever seen here. City has purchased course and made a real and viable investment and it shows. The big other? Still no restroom facilities on the course, doesnt bother most men but limits female play.

The party we hosted for over 40 guests went smoothly without any issues. Employees were super helpful. Highly recommend! (Bathrooms are very clean as well!)

Twin Rivers is now owned by the City of Oviedo. Greens are excelent. Fairways are acceptable and tee boxes above average. Some bunkers have been removed and all others have fine white sand. City has done much to bring back this golf course. If you havent played here in a year it is worth booking a tee time. Price for weekend play was 36 plus tax.

They need to do better for the price. I feel like the course is always under some type of slow paced maintenance that takes 1 or 2 holes away from the player... Shame because this used to bw one of my weekly go to courses.

Well maintained course. Decent price. The customer service is a bit lacking, the on course trash cans were overflowing and the drink cart seems only to circle the back nine...All in all a good golf course.

Well maintained course. Pace of play was a little slow, there was a ranger trying to keep it moving but things happen sometimes. All in all good course good rate and an enjoyable day.

Back nine was closed so had to play front nine twice. Course was in pretty good shape considering all the rain.

Beautiful rural course. Affordable range. The greens seem well maintained. As a novice golfer I lose a lot of balls to semi narrow fairways, but it is what it is.

Myself, my husband and our fathers are always looking for an excuse to go golfing and with a weekend approaching, we decided why not. We made our tee time for a late Sunday morning. We arrived and the parking lot was fairly full.We checked in, got our carts and range balls and decided to grab a quick bite before heading out. Their food is pretty good, especially for how quickly it comes out. The range... It is in desperate need of some work. The ground was awful. It was terribly uneven from being repeatedly assaulted with clubs. On the brightside, it helps prepare you for hitting out of the rough when you slice the daylights out of your drive. The putting green was in good shape though.The course itself was hit and miss, and Im not just talking about a few of our drives. Some of the tee boxes werent properly marked, so on a couple holes, we had a difficult time discerning between the tees. For the moat part, the fairways were in good shape, although probably due for a cut on some holes. The course was challenging, which we enjoyed.Now for the disappointment... when we made our tee time, we were not told about a tournament they were having. We got stuck behind a small group a couple times. After the front 9, we decided to grab some beer. We left the clubhouse to continue to the back 9 but we were utterly shocked to see the line at the tee box 4 groups (with kids) deep. We were not looking forward to waiting with bad weather lurking around. We had already been rained on a few times on the front 9. We decided to call it quits and left to go get a late lunch at our favorite wing place.Overall, a decent course but lacks communication from the staff. We would not have set up a tee time for the day of a tournament had we been informed about it when booking. We probably wouldnt use their range again, given the poor condition. We might consider giving them a second chance but its not likely to be anytime soon. Why drive 30 minutes away to play an okay course when youve got a great one right down the road? Great people. Golf course is very nice and challenging. First hole par four. Drive on the right side low and get a nice roll, 9 iron in and putt for birdie. Great way to start the round.

The city of oviedo has done a great job with this course. Greens fast and trur. Only complaint is with golfers who dont repair their ball marks. Greens are nice once you repair 10 marks in front of you.

This public course is a hidden gem since it was taken over by and improved by the city of Oviedo. Great layout and condition. They could improve pace of play by insisting on and enforcing tee times for everyone, for example to pair up singles, twosome etc. Otherwise great job!

Great course. Well maintained and a fun, challenging layout. Great deals for UCF students.The range is in great shape, and the putting green is great. The only recommendation is to have the yardage markers on the range more visible to the golfers, not facing outward.

Had a great time playing 18 today. Course was well maintained and challenging paired up with 2 great guys that work for the course and had a great time.

A good place to golf when you dont want to be around people. They have nice carts and the staff is very helpful

Twin rivers golf club is a great place and theyve really helped me better my golfing skills. They also teach children during the summer and thats awesome! The staff is amazingly friendly and very helpful. All in all a great place

Twin Rivers is in great shape! Just played after a long period away due to deteriorating conditions. I was very surprised at how much improvement there has been. I’m so glad because this course offers a great lay-out and a very challenging test of golf.

Tough course, greens were in great shape. A couple ground under repair spots on big nine but maintenance crew are doing a great job. Clubhouse staff were very pleasant and provided an enjoyable experience.

I havent played here in many years. The conditions of the course were better than I had anticipated.

This is a very well kept course that is very challenging. They have an actual menu in the clubhouse as opposed to hot dogs and club sandwiches like most courses do. As a result of both of these, its a little pricey to play there if youre a regular Joe, but you get what you pay for I suppose.

As a local, its great to see Twin Rivers back in shape. The course is a great layout, and has enoght trouble to make it a real challenge. Well done to the city. I cant wait to see the finished product.

Last minute we needed an indoor venue to host a baby shower for my daughter and her fiance 4/2/16 because of rain. Juli and her staff went above and beyond to accommodate our every wish. The baby shower was a huge success and I would absolutely use them again in the future for any event. Our party had 80 people in attendance and their was also a 55 person golf event going on and they both ran smoothly. I couldnt be happier. Thank you Twin Rivers Golf Club Staff .. We had an awesome time celebrating this very special time in our lives.

The golf course is in really good shape. The greens are fantastic. Not the same track it used to be, so much better. You can tell that the management cares about the course.BTW the chicken quesadilla is spot on.

A great golf course, looking really good. There was literally only a few people in this golf course. The course looks amazing. If you have not been there in a long time it has come a long way.

This course offers footGolf! A fun activity the whole family can enjoy! All you need is a soccer ball - you can walk the course and enjoy the beautiful view! The staff is friendly and if you play on Sunday there is a league at 2pm where $15 to play includes the cart and a beer in the lounge! Great fun!

I love this course always have its a beautiful layout of what Oviedo is but, boy does it need some work. The greens are not in the best shape and so is the course, love the layout wish the course did a better job maintaining it. Food at the bar is good ! Customer serves isnt very good felt like the guy at the front desk Brian wasnt very nice and wasnt very respectful but besides that love playing here, great course for a quick 18 !

Im from NY down for some golf r&r . Course is in great shape, was not very busy due to season. Rates and food were excellent. Plan on playing here again tomorrow .

Course and greens in good shape, enjoyable Layout, reasonable price.

Facilities are a bit rough. The ball return driver spent 30 minutes OUTSIDE of his cart trying to get it unstuck while several of us were on the range. Incredibly unsafe and not worth the $10 ball price.

They have redone the course and is said to be one of the best courses around!

The course is in better condition than Ive seen it in years, greens are also in great shape, lunch were good as well, all in all we had a very nice time yesterday.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The course was challenging and I somehow managed to not lose a single ball all day. Those greens though. Sorry Twin Rivers but Ill never play there again solely due to those greens. No excuse for how bad of shape they are in.

Ive played on this course a few times with some of my buddies. The course was a fun experience but some areas on the green had masses of dry grass, with better maintenance this wouldnt be an issue. There was a few incidents with this guy in the front named Brian Woodrow that gave us issues at the front for the price of 18 holes, I didnt feel welcome. It felt like I encumbered his work flow. It took his manager to come and correct him on information he already knew, due to the fact that he had helped us in the past on several occasions. What would you call an act like this.... dislike.... disrespect....hatred. All I know is I will be taking my business elsewhere.

A good course but not worth $42 per round.

Since the city of Oviedo bought the golf course, the place has really taken an up swing. Club house has a new roof and the bunkers are being rebuilt. The bar and grill is open to the public, so I can walk over for lunch.

Some great signature holes. Water removal is a small problem in summer.

Nice greens and the atmosphere is relaxed...well maintained.

We played foot golf here and it was awesome. I dont know much about golf in general, so Im glad my husband was with us to navigate the course or I would have gotten lost.

Had a footgolf tournament and a end of year party here and it was great. Everything was well maintained and the staff was really great to us

Please give this course the attention it deserves! As a golf course, it needs new ownership and management. It used to be the gem of Oviedo. They are going to lose this property like other courses have been shutting down if they continue to neglect this property. Ive seen this trend before and hope the right team get a hold of this course and not sell out to developers. We have enough traffic already and not enough natural sanctuary.

The head golf professional, Brian Woodrow, is constantly degrading and patronizing to me. I am a regular costumer who uses the driving range and occasionally plays rounds. I always feel discriminated and unwelcome there because of him. The rest of the staff is friendly, but Brian is purely arrogant and condescending. Be sure to take your business elsewhere, as I am. If youre looking for respect and for your business to be welcomed, do NOT go here.
