Love this place

Ive been watching soccer games at the Scheels soccer facility for over 3 years and its always obvious that some of the officiating sways in favor of local Blue Valley and Overland Park soccer clubs but earlier tonight 5pm field 9 between Blue Valley and Kc Fusion was one sided and the most unfair unsportsmanlike conduct by the ref and line judges ever. The ref even laughed about it when parents objected rediculous blantant fouls. Really, is this what its come to to give a local team the advantage?

I think this is a place that does a good job teaching kids serious about soccer the building blocks of this sport. I dont love their new computer system used for signing in to the classes. I dont find it intuitive. But I guess it does the job. I do think they have some great coaching here.

Overhead the lead ref administrator today tell a parent that the shortage of refs is the parents and coaches fault. Thats why they loose 80% of the refs each year.Maybe if they trained the refs better, the coaches would be so upset during the games....We were at Heritage Park.

@Brad Perryman - The refs here get lots of training and mentorship. Even then, on the field experience for several years is the only way to get better and improve skills. If coaches are constantly upset and take it out on the referees, we will never get enough referees.

Bias or very ignorant refs and linesmen. Go back and learn how to differentiate colors and what is offside and what is a player dribbling a ball past a player.

Love the tournaments. Great place to play.
