Damage Hitter has had a huge impact on my son. My son has been going to see Karl for several years. He really looks up to Karl and respects him not only as his hitting coach but as a mentor. I would highly recommend Damage Hitter.

Karl is great with young men. He pushes with gentle nudges to take charge of their progression in the cage.Definitely strong in the physical aspects of the swing but maybe stronger from the mental demands to encourage a stronger focus.

I fell backwards into meeting Karl. One of the teams I played on in middle school signed up for group lessons with Karl. Because of the quick improvements in my swing, my dad signed me up for private lessons (that I took all the way through high school).I was fortunate enough to play three out of my four high school summers for Karl on the Kansas City Barnstormers. Some of the best days and times of my youth were playing baseball while continuing to learn more about the game and more about life.Karl has a unique way of challenging you to be a better baseball player but more importantly a better man or woman. Karl is absolutely the best! He has worked wonders for my son, not only mechanically re-working his swing, but preparing him for the mental side of the game as well. Karl and Ken Carswell are as synonymous with the Kansas City youth baseball scene as barbecue is a staple to the Kansas City area. They provide leadership skills on top of the baseball skills they aim to help young people with and in this regard they have built appreciation and respect across the Midwest. They are great at what they do. They are there to push you you outside of your comfort zones and often ask much of the people they are instructing. It’s because they care. It’s not only a business in this sense but something more. A vision of growth and watching young people improve with their skills over time must be one of the greatest gifts of success that a baseball instructor can hope to find. If you stick with Karl and Ken you will be rewarded. It’s as simple as that. Like anything, you always get out of what you put into it.

We have worked with other good hitting coaches in the past, but they pale in comparison to Karl. The progress we’ve seen since starting at Damage Hitter has been remarkable. Even better is the mental and emotional lessons he is teaching my son about what it takes to be successful, not only in hitting a baseball, but in any endeavor in life. Priceless.

Coach is amazing. Just a few sessions into our advanced infield camp and I could see my sons footwork and confidence improve. By the end of the camp, I feel confident he could switch to any position and do well. Thanks coach!

Karl Is one of the best people to come into my son Brocks life. He is as honest and straightforward as they come and if you put the time into it to become better you will reap the benefits.
