Nelson Park

It is a very nice public neighborhood park. It has a running, walking, or strolling path and beautiful trees and lots more...It is two diagonally contiguous block lots sharing one street. One lot has the kiddies playground facing the Park School on the north side. The other lot features a ball field and grassy areas facing South Highland Avenue on its west side.

Nice and quiet place to walk, run, and play basketball

Its a simple local park for sports, walking on the .35 mile track, playing tennis, lying in the sun, etc. It has bathrooms although as of may 31st, 2020 - they werent open.Nothing special but nothing wrong either!

Sometimes the bathroom is closed and the water fountain doesnt work. Its good for walking, playing basketball or baseball, and people gather to play soccer

Great place to go with your friends. Mandy things you can do in that park. It says it’s open 24 hrs but the lights from Nelson go off at night.

The resent event that was very entertaining and family oriented was very delightful.

For a park that has NO DOGS ALLOWED signs, there are signs of dogs being seen at this Park

It was ok but theres no water fountain which is a big Issues

Best time to run is in the morning. It gets crowded after 4pm

I always enjoy going to Nelson, people are always playing soccer, basket ball, or tennis and can also go for a run or ride their bikes. Theres a playground crossing the street next to park school for the kids and another park going down the hill, next to KFC

It was good but the park personnel was blowing grass all over my car and almost on me when i tried to walk on the track

Nelson Park on Washington Street & Rte 9 has a Running Track, Tennis Courts, a Playground, Ball Fields, Basketball Courts (with lights),and Restrooms!
