For someone who lives in the area Im almost embarrassed to say I have never been to this museum...until today. The small museum has a few exhibits with military memorabilia and a gift shop in the main area of the museum. The gem though, is just through two steel doors into the garage...behind which you can find a bunch of military vehicles including a Soviet T-34 tank. I was disappointed that Brutus the famous gun truck from Vietnam (featured on The Gun Trucks of Vietnam on the Smithsonian Channel) wasnt there, but thats all the more reason to come back and visit again. Very small for a museum, but the admission is free and the volunteers are exceptionally friendly.
Nice little museum. Dont let the size fool you. You can easily spend hours there between the videos and everything to read. Was very enjoyable.
Great experience. A lot great items to see and a very nice guided tour.
This place is awesome! Im an army veteran and I loved this place! Check it out!
Our Marine Corps League held its March business meeting here and we amazed at the memories that came flooding back. Our Marines could relate to at least a few of the vehicles from the era they served. Worth the drive if you are at any distance.
So cool! A guide takes you thru and explains the exhibits. One whole exhibit dedicated to a fallen soldier from the most recent war including his actual uniform brought by his dad for his sons memory to be carried on. Very informative Salute..!
The guide through the museum was very interesting. Id go back again
What an absolutely amazing experience !!! Highly recommend ! Definitely going back...
This place is awesome. A great collection of military vehicles and tech. They also have a ww2 built T-34-85 which is absolutely amazing. We asked the staff if me and my brother could do a photo shoot on the tank since he has a Soviet tankers uniform. Drove several hours here and as totally worth it. The staff were very kind and the little gift shop sold things at a reasonable price.
Love this place. It doesnt take long to visit but it is a great tribute to Wisconsin veterans.
Small but a nice visit with a good tour guide. Mostly WWII and Vietnam era Army and Marine corps displays.
Great volunteers. Very knowledgeable!
Interesting collection of older US military vehicles and memorialbilia.
Awesome, we got a tour of the whole place, including things I would have not noticed. Its free by way of grants based on visitorship. The sign in book at the entrance is their tally. There is a donation box at the front. I highly encourage people to spend some time there and enjoy this gem.
Nice museum. Near. EAA. Off hwy. Nice small store. Nice military equipmentA T34 #1 there. Go. ArmyGo. Army
Great place to go especially for home school kids. You children will learn about history and the sacrifices that they have made for our country.
An excellent museum where the history of this great nation, as well as that of the state of Wisconsin, is properly preserved so as to be seen by the masses. Id strongly suggest making it a point to check it out.
Stopped by on a whim, and wound up staying for two hours; theres a lot of history in this place for such a small space! Definitely make sure you ask for a tour.
This is a really cool place. The tour guides were awesome!
Really enjoyed the army museum
Love the knowledge of the guides. Very friendly and educational. Very well kept.
Very nice museum. Extremely thankful for being invited to do their first ever ww2 reenactment!
Today they had a WW2 reenactment! Would like to see more things like this and probably a little better Advertising of things like this! As a vet I take pride in what they do and how the present vehicles and weapons! this stuff is great to take your kids to teach them about the military!
A delightful walk back in history. The folks who give of their time have done a wonderful job of keeping it safe. The guides are friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic about this place of history. It is kid friendly, and touchable. Lots of WW2 trucks, guns, artillery, and a tank that was also used in a movie The Ant Man from WW2.. Free admission, but donations are appreciated. A Small gift store with many military items for sale.
This was awesome! The people are nice they got trucks from WWII Here! They even let you climb in them. 10/10
Cool place lots of history and its free
Great place to visit for free (cash and credit donations accepted) with veterans and children. Nice collection of memorabilia and miscellaneous items, but the star attraction is the motor pool. They have large collection of military vehicles that are all in running shape that you can touch and kids can sit in. Passionate volunteers keeping a little bit of military history alive.Oh, and they have a tank.
A great little museum with lots of artifacts from recent wars. The motor pool is the crown jewel along with a decent gift shop.
All the vehicles run thats cool also a military veteran gave me a tour that was great.
Great place to walk around and learn about everything youd like to know.
Exhibits change periodically, always something knew to see. No admission charge
The entire concept is amazing. Especially being a combat veteran myself.
Better than Disney World !
Great tour. Thank you for your service.
Love this place. Did a luncheon with other women veterans and we all had a great time. The staff was wonderful.
Nice patriotic museum. Lots of vehicles in great indoor displays. Right by the Oshkosh airport. Stop in if youre there for Airventure.
Brought back memories some good, some bad, some about those I served with. Made me proud to have served the USA.
Great facts and great exhibits!!
Very cool building full of history!
Doing a great job. Will visit many more times.
GREAT museum! Especially if youre a veteran. Well worth A VISIT!!
Very educational, yet fun for the kids. The vehicles are especially exciting to the kids.
