This was a decent course for being in the country. The course play overall was pretty decent. Greens were all in pretty good shape. Some challenging shots with dog legs and streams running through it. A few sand traps had some grass growing in them. The fairways also had many different repair spots. Would have also liked to see the website allow for tee time reservations. If these were taken care of, easy 4 star course (if not 5).

Excellent and well kept public golf course. Cheaper price but does not meet cheaper value. Course is always in great condition. This course is built for lefties! Many dog leg lefts on this course.

This course not only disregards all CDC guidelines, it flaunts them! They practice no social distancing, mask wearing, or limits on the number of people in the pro shop or clubhouse. Their carts are not sanitized and there is no hand sanitizer anywhere. If you have an underlying condition or are a caretaker of someone who just had heart surgery, you will not be allowed to be in a cart by yourself. The owner has a rule that says you must either be walking or riding with someone else, even if your partner pays for a cart, but chooses to walk to allow you to ride alone. This was the ultimatum the very rude owner gave me out on the.course - either get in a cart with someone else or walk. I chose a 3rd option: I left the course and will not return - ever!

Tried to get on and play as a single today. Parking lot is 10% full, I get turned away because they arent allowing singles to play due to grounds crew working. How is one person playing any more in danger/causing danger than a foursome of drunkards out there? Why not offer to pair me up with the two-some that was getting ready to go off? I played here MANY mornings with grounds crew present. Ive worked grounds crews. Ive been a loyal fan/customer of this course for 15+ years. It might be 15 more years before I bother to come back.

I was pleasantly surprised for a small town golf course. 18 holes with lots of par 4 & 5s. The holes were well spread out and didnt feel on top of each other. Its a rather flat course and not very technical but a long drive does help. Great stop for the price.

Truly a diamond in the rough. The ownership and staff are fantastic and do everything possible to make sure your day at the course is a good one. Obviously the ownership is invested in this course. You are greeted with a smile each and every day.Improvements on the course are ongoing. Great bar and food. People need to know just how good this place is. I love to call Utica GC my home course.

Good experience and course for the price

My family took my dad golfing here for his birthday this past weekend. As none of us are pro, or even golf more than once a year, we obviously are not very good. The four of us were having a great time when all of the sudden, on the third hole, a man driving a lawn mower approached us after literally watching us from a few yards away for a good 20 minutes, and said, I dont care how you do it, but you are holding up the entire course. Find a way to speed up. As he watched me drive the ball, I was feeling under pressure, and turned to him and said, Well this isnt a lot of pressure or anything. He did not budge; he sat there, with his engine off, glaring at me/us. I then picked up my ball and told the family (and the creepy, rude employee) I will simply watch from now on, since 3 golfers will move quicker than 4. The man started his engine up and drove away.We understand how the golf course works-- if someone is moving a bit slower, it backs everything/everyone up; but the words the man used and how he treated his CUSTOMERS was completely unacceptable. Our fun family trip was ruined by the rude employee who basically told me to stop golfing in order to speed up the whole process. Had he worded it in a more professional way, there would have been no problem! Like I said, we know we are not good, and probably a bit slower moving than the average golfer, so we get it-- but treat your employees that are paying to golf at the course with some respect. We wont ever be back here again.

It was a great course to golf at for my first time! They were very helpful and directed me where I needed to go even though there was a tournament going on. I had a great time and Ill probably golf here again!

I love this course. The staff is always welcoming and nice. The price is also very good and the quality of the course is a very good! Well kept up and is a hidden gem of the Oshkosh area. Super afforadable.

The greens, fairways, and tee boxes, the most important components of a golf course in my opinion, were in fantastic shape relative to how cheap their rates are. I think the new ownership has done a great job focusing on what matters most for golfers. I played on a Sunday morning and pace of play was great, we also saw the beverage cart every 4-5 holes which is ideal. They also have a great driving range with several targets to aim for, a feature a lot of courses fail to provide. While the course is relatively short for long hitters, challenging par 3s and unique dog legs make up for its lack of length. They have a huge bar with good bar food ideal for post-round shenanigans with your group.

Just finished our company golf outing. Rain didnt spoil our fun. They are great hosts. Nice burger afterwards.

Well maintained course that is reasonably priced. Great place to get together and talk with area principals and to take a break.

Attended charity golf outting and golf course owner was rude and did a poor job managing his part of the event. Course was poorly attended to as well.

The 2014 started a little slow but the course is in great shape. Staff and food are very good. prices are excellent.

Its been 2 years since my last review and id like to mention that this course is under new ownership and is turning into one of the best courses in the valley. The fairways have been narrowed, weeds and clovers are gone, the greens are the best Ive ever seen and there are new rough fescue areas making this course very challenging. I recommend a round there if you havent been there in a year or two.

Good golf at a fair price!

Time after time the service is horrendous... I have golfed league here for 8 years and ever since the new owner took over, he doesnt care about his drinking patrons. The cart girls are not very good, but that is partly due to the fact that the owner pulls them off the course to bartend. We had 6 holes of golf left tonight and the cart girl was on her way inside to bartend. I have been in numerous golf outings here and for 40 teams he will only have two cart girls. Money is to be made off drinks... Not sure what his thinking is, but this is why so many people carry on their own beverages. Service is pathetic!!!
