Fun experience, we went to the improv show. Cast was fun and included the audience.

My Name is Mommy was exceptional. I laughed. I cried. I cried some more. They passed out tissues before the show which was for the best. Really amazing performance and the meet and greet afterward was so much fun!

This is my favorite comedy place! The Backlot not only keeps the funny fresh, but the experience is much more intimate than other places. As a total bonus, the owner really cares about community. Its a real joy to watch this place blossom.

Very fun time when weve gone but made the 45 minute drive this Saturday (Labor Day Weekend) and its closed. Very disappointed. Nothing on their website stated they were closed and Google said they were open.Went back, tried again. Get there for the 9:00 show and theyre having an 8:00 show tonight. Not trying again. I wish screenshots could be included to show that the info on Google stated there was a 9:00 show.

This place is the best place to be on a Friday and Saturday night!! The comedians are all super talented and hilarious! The environment is very enjoyable and relaxing and the owners are AMAZING!! Super awesome fun place! Highly recommend checking it out if you havent.

If youre looking for something fun and different to do on the weekend, I urge you to check out The Backlot Comedy House! They are a family-owned, small business, with an amazing set of talented comedians! It was an absolutely hilarious show, and something different to do than just head to the bars. Plus, the owners and comedians are always in the news for volunteering and giving back to the community. Nothing beats good laughs and some amazing people!

Ive seen many shows at The Backlot and it always amazing! Because I loved the show so much I had Kyla come in to my workplace to do the Improve with Improv team building. I cant say enough good things about this experience with my coworkers. We all left with smiles on our faces and a new approach to working together. I recommend every workplace experience this for themselves. Thanks Kyla!

Fun local place for good laughs! Very reasonably priced, they have some adult beverages too! I especially love the smaller space for audience, there isn’t a bad place to sit in the house :) much more intimate feel for the audience. Awesome they are in downtown too - plenty of other places of business to visit while in the area!

This show was so funny and fun! I will definitely be coming back! Also it is located in a great area in downtown Oshkosh, where there is nightlife to continue the fun! :) Plus you can enjoy some nice adult beverages while watching the show! The cast is very friendly as well and they are very engaging with the audience!

For a $10 show, its worth a visit! Weve been to the big comedy clubs in Appleton, never laughed as much as these guys have been able to. Show length is perfect, no drunk minimums, and relatively cheap drinks (Soda). Dont forget your student id for a discount! Great way to start a Saturday night!

Great place for a crazy number of laughs! An array of talent from the area that never fails to destroy my gut and make me wheeze from lack of oxygen. Staff is amazing and always talkative. Dont stay away! Go try it NOW!!!

I went to the Saturday night improv show. I really enjoyed myself, and it was a very reasonable price. No drink minimum was definitely a pro for me, as I had to drive home. I havent been to any other comedy venues in the area, but I will definitely be returning to the Backlot.
