I stopped in to pick up a Trick or Treat bucket. I ordered. It includes a pumpkin and paint for the child to do. Then you take it back and they will fire it for you. Great Idea for kids!!

This studio is so relaxing and accommodating. You can work on a piece and not be rushed through it. If you’ve got a problem they’re always there to help and give new ideas. I spend creative time there and sometimes use it as my muse. They even drop off ceramics and all of the supplies to the assisted living I work at. Lake Point Villa. Which allows me to offer another wonderful creative outlet for my residents. And they absolutely love it and look forward to it every month. We have now put it on our monthly calendar. Thank you to Rebecca, Jessica, and all the staff at the Fire Escape. And this is coming from our whole team and all of our residents at Lake pointe villa. Definitely five stars!

Its a great place to take the family and get creative. We like to paint pottery together every December for the holidays. But I really enjoy going here during the day when my kids are at school. Its a great thing to do in the Winter when the weather is bad.

They always go above and beyond to help a customer if they can! I had to arrange a quick pick up of a mug that was just fired, because it was a gift for my parents. It had my 1 year olds handprint, and it was a birthday gift for my mom! They met me at a different location just so we could grab it, and head out of town on time!

Was in a class of 40+ people. We were out in 2 hours flat - very well organized and friendly staff that gave us lots of one-on-one attention and help. I highly recommend the wood palette sign creating class for your large group. Prices were ~ $35 for a nice sized sign. Kudos to this business!!! Will return.

We brought a group of 40+ people for a fun activity to do prior to attending a workshop the next day. It was wonderful. The staff were organized and helpful and we all had fun getting to know each other while having fun at the same time. We created Wooden Signs and you didnt need to be talented to take home a beautiful sign to display. I would recommend for any person or group to attend.

Helpful and knowledge staff. Fun atmosphere and a large selection of items to choose from. This is my second time here. The first time I painted some ceramic items and this time I made a custom wood sign. Very easy project. Offered plenty of guidance. Great for kids and adults.

An absolute happy place for me. The staff is warm and helpful. They encourage and guide where needed. They teach and offer helpful tips for people of all skill levels. Ive taken classes, done my own projects, and brought my 3 year old in to create. Im a satisfied customer over and over and over again. Even when I have artist block, the environment gets my creative juices flowing. I highly recommend!

Lovely people providing a welcoming creative space thats fun for the entire family. No reservations required- just walk on in. And they have great events like painting with baby goats. Who DOESNT want to paint with baby goats??? And they sell alcohol! Its a party!

I love coming here so much! I’ve been to many of their events and I enjoyed every single one of them. The atmosphere here is wonderful and their customer service is OUTSTANDING! They are always thinking of new and exciting ways to keep things interesting and fun, while also supporting the community through lots of different fundraisers. I definitely recommend checking out special events here or just coming in and painting something with friends or family while enjoying the calm environment. Best place in Oshkosh, hands down!

Love this place. Been there twice now. Great selection of pottery to choose from, as well as big selection of painting ideas for canvases and wooden boards. Supplies are all available and lots so you arent fighting for the paints or brushes that you want. Prices are great, especially when considering all supplies and paints are included within the prices. The atmosphere is pretty great, too. My family and I enjoy going there, especially my daughter (last time we went was for her birthday - her request). We will definitely keep going back.

My kids LOVE going to the Fire Escape, and we make a point to go pretty often. We especially love the family atmosphere and how my kids feel right at home when we are there. I recommend them to everyone, because we know how much fun everyone will have. They are so accommodating with schedules (my kids did several of their summer art camps last summer), and I just appreciate them so much! We cant wait until we go back.

Awesome for birthday parties

I had a lot of fun. This artistically challenged person created something I’m proud of!

My Mom, Sisters, and I went for the potty mouth night. It was fun and the pizza they served was delicious. The biggest thing I would suggest is to have a little more organization. We had never been there and found ourselves asking what we were supposed to be doing a lot. Maybe printed instruction sheets at each table would help with that. Now that Ive done it once I am confident when we attend the next event (so excited for The Office event next month!) it will be much easier. Cant wait to get my cup back and see how it turned out!

I have been here a few times before, always a pleasant and fun experience. I wanted to have a sign made for a wedding gift. The staff was very helpful in the design and were able to make it happen on super short notice. I couldnt be more impressed with the professionalism and amazing customer service! I LOVE this idea. The employees were super knowledgeable, and very detailed. Honestly I wish I remembered her name. She was one of my favorite people Ive encountered working customer service. The only thing I wasnt a fan of, was you cant just buy the pieces. And if you do, they come with paint. I understand its a lot to do with the whole experience of the place. Which is awesome. Ive just been the doing it at home with my friends and family for years. But this is a GREAT thing to do with your family & friends or even to just have alone time.

Best place for a date night or a night out with friends. Owners are always friendly and helpful. Anyone can enjoy and make awesome art. Even if you have little to no experience. Have been there many times and will go many many more.

I was looking for something to cure my cabin fever this month and decided to check out Fire Escape. I loved it! I got there around 10:30 on a Saturday and they werent that busy yet. I loved that they offered walk-ins because sometimes I dont like to plan in advance. The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable and fun. The selection of projects was mind blowing and they provide plenty of ideas and inspiration in their design center. I felt their prices were very reasonable and they didnt have any add-on or surpasses (what you see on the tag is what you pay). I never felt rushed and the staff was always willing to help without being pushy even after I was there for over three hours and they started to get busy, A+ for great customer service. They serve beer and wine and have other beverages for sale too which is really a nice touch. I cant wait to see what my fired finished product looks like. I am in my mid 30s and had as much fun as all the kids there appeared to be having :) I am for sure going to return to do some of their other projects.

Having often been a guest of summer art camps and paint days, my daughter requested her birthday party at Fire Escape. The new location is larger than the old and has multiple rooms to accommodate large parties. Instead of painting pottery, we chose to have each guest paint a wood letter of their name and add “mixed media” on top of the paint. The kids left the letters at the studio and a top shiny coat was applied later. Within a few days I got the call that the letters were complete and ready! They all turned out amazing and were great gifts to give each guest who attended the party. I had my daughter write her thank you cards and we delivered each art piece with the thank you.The staff at Fire Escape were trained to run the birthday party and this allowed me to be pretty “hand’s off” which was a first! The location also has a selection of beer and malt beverages that we purchased for the parents that stayed during the party.I would highly recommend the Fire Escape for a birthday party (young or old). The possibilies of what you can do there are endless.

My family goes here multiple times a year. Every project always turns out beautifully. The owners are helpful, honest people who bend over backwards to make sure every customer is satisfied. An example was when I made a Christmas plate with my childrens hand and foot prints on it and it broke in the kiln (something that, sadly, sometimes happens) they gave me all the materials to redo the plate and helped me make it perfect. They work hard and do their best to offer an incredible variety of items. My children love going there and so do I!

They have a great selection, are always willing to help you out if you cant get something just right. They will also let you take as long as you need to finish your project, once i took around 3 months to finish one and they kept it safe and wrapped up in the back waiting for me. They are also great with kids projects, if you want a nice keep sake from you little one, this is the place to go.

Finally got to check out Fire Escape this month! About time, Ive been dying to get in. This place is amazing! The choices, the way the entire place is laid out, the organization of the paint and other materials, the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. They can help you make anything! They also have adult beverages Im a little creative, so this place is heaven for me. With that being said my analytical logical minded fiancé is not creative at all, and his work of art turned out better than mine and looks absolutely amazing!!!! Without the staff, this would not have been possible. Cant wait to get back! Love this small business!

Me and my girlfriend went there to paint some pottery and it honestly was one of the better experiences ive had. They give you a wide variety of pieces you can work from and you can paint whatever you want.

The first time I visited Fire Escape, I had no idea what to expect. There is a huge variety of items just waiting to be personalized, and the staff are so helpful. I had a ton of questions, but it didnt seem to bother them. Theyve been helpful every visit since then, too. Its a fun, creative space, and I highly recommend it.

Fire Escape is a mothers dream! I just brought my toddler and newborn there and they were incredibly kid friendly. I had a number of projects that I was doing for Christmas and their staff were so kind and helpful getting perfect handprints and footprints on my pieces! I actually traveled from Appleton to Oshkosh because I knew I would get great customer service at Fire Escape. It did help that I knew what I wanted before getting there so save your ideas to Pinterest to make it easier on yourself to communicate ideas. Now I just need to go with my friends to their ladies nights so I can try out their other offerings!

Our experiences at the Fire Escape have always been so welcoming and friendly, with staff always ready to answer any questions. Their dog, Morgan is especially helpful in brightening our days!

Since living in Oshkosh, I have visited Fire Escape 6 times. I have gone there for girls days, date night, for bachelorette parties and even by myself. Their pottery is great, but their recent addition of word signs is truly an awesome option!!
