Great place for dancing, listening to country music, drinking beer, and hanging out with friends in low places.

I went last Thursday for the latin night and the place is very nice with nice gathering of people. The reason I am giving it four stars is that the DJ played mostly bachatas. I would say that 50% of the songs was bachata. If you are a bachata lover this is your place but if you like a more mix of latin music including salsa, merengue and/or cha cha cha you will need to find another place. As this was my first visit, I do not know if this is the norm but after traveling 1 1/2 hour for a bachata marathon I was not pleased.

Great place to enjoy some great people and music. Pretty good size wooden dance floor. Most bands are pretty good and a few are excellent. Their choice for the last resort band really should pay the ranch to let them play there... meaning they suck. The staff is friendly and does ok with the mixed drinks. The patrons are all really cool... good people. Definitely not a kiddie dive or a meat market. We come all the way from Jacksonville... its the only good country place for us to go within 100 miles of home.

Great place for dancing with country music. Good bunch of peoplewhen you get you know them! Just had a memorial for ED who recently passed. It was really great!

So I really wanted to try line dancing with my sister. She spent 33 years military service and now has Alzheimer. After I paid the cover, and thought we watched for a bit I realized it was not for her but I new she would still have fun. Its a class for lessons. If you want only people out there that know the dances then dont advertise lessons.This is not dancing with the stars. So first I was told to dance in the back ..then another young girl with shorts told me my sister couldnt dance beside her she would have to move .. I cant explain how rude to tell someone with a disability that they cant dance next to them. Shame on you.

Reasonable drink prices, live band and best of all, friendly folks just out to gave a good time... Also not crowded either.

SMOKING IS BACK!!!!After a few years away, due to the heavy smoke, my friends and I came back because smoking was prohibited. I arrived tonight to find that smoking is back. Smokers can go out back to smoke but we cant go out back to dance. The smell is revolting! I will not be back and neither will my friends. We will spread the word on this disgusting business choice. You blew it!

Just started coming back to the rockin ranch and Im telling I always have a blast.

To charge locals a cover charge at the door, then the prices for drinks are way over priced....this place years ago was the spot, now it always seems pretty empty..and yes you cant breathe with to much cigerett smell and smoke....

I am a regular and I always have a good time until 11 they start smoking

I am currently here and the service is terrible. The place is empty. I was sitting at the bar for 15 minutes before anyone approached me asking if I wanted a drink. 2 shots of tequila was $12 served with warm limes in a plastic cup. Which I guess is a necessity because the bartender broke multiple glasses knocking them all over the place. Total of 20 minutes of my time wasted on a Saturday Night.

Dance instructors are great! People are nice. The only bad thing is that it gets too smokey and have to leave early.

Decent Country Western bar. Great bartenders. Needs updating.

Terrible customer service. Walked in, paid $44, realized that it is not what we thought it was, certainly not appropriate for the 3 14 yr. old kids we had with us, 5 min later decided to leave & they would not give us our money back. Planning to call the Management in the morning and complain!

Old and run down. Usually a good time. Things can get out of hand.
