Everything about Animal Kingdom is impressive. Each exhibit at the park offers unique and educational experience that simultaneously advance Disneys initiatives for conservation. Our boys, ages 5 and 7, enjoyed Animal Kingdom the most out of all 4 parks.

Not bad but not amazing. I feel like there were too few animals in this zoo-like area. Its Animal Kingdom! If any place should be displaying an extensive amount of animals it should be this place. Asia has so much more wildlife not being represented here.

Nice trail with several different types of animals. I dont think that there were any restrooms on the trail and only saw one spot for water (not a problem as the trail isnt excessively long and if you plan ahead). The views of the tigers are great, you can see them really up close.

Wow. Great spot for photos and to see wildlife up close! I could have hung around here for hours taking photos. You will see tigers, birds, peacocks, and so much more.

Great trail within the main park.Lots of animals to spot as you make your merry way around and hopefully have nice clear warm weather like we had here some teen years ago.Theres some things that are timed out only happen at certain times so you might want to check there before and try plan you way round based on that.

This was a *beautiful* hike through Indonesian/Indian/Pakistanian inspired architecture and jungle-like paths, with a few stops along the way to observe a few different animals native to that region. The architecture and attention to detail alone is worth a five-star rating — and I really want to give it that. But there really wasn’t a lot to look at in terms of animal life — a few monkeys, a couple tigers, some deer, a couple lizards, and some bats and birds. But there really wasn’t that much to see in terms of animals, and that just felt a little bit like a let-down to me.Still, it was VERY NICE to walk through there and get a little break from the ABSOLUTE MADNESS that is Disney’s Animal Kingdom.Do yourself a favor — if it’s really busy, spend some of the peak hours on the jungle trek to just get away from the crowds for a bit, decompress, and relax a little. I’d encourage you to even just find a quiet corner and sit for awhile, maybe close your eyes and relax. It’s a nice little oasis, even if it’s lacking in animals to look at.

Like this nice hike that is away from the crowds and noise of the park. Its got some shade which is usually very welcome. Great to be able to wander through this area at your own pace viewing the birds and animals. Like most animal areas of AK, earlier in the day is best, especially for the tigers!

Always a must do for me. Its great to see tigers and other animals in a more natural setting than a typical zoo. However, what makes the Trek and Animal Kingdom so special is the theming and attention to details.

Using the Wilderness Guide that we got as we entered onto Discovery Island we enjoyed learning along this trek. The bat exhibit was neat close to the bats; tigers and water buffalo were fun to watch. Find the hidden Mickeys.

This is a nice walking trail in Animal Kingdom where you get away from the crowds and explore at your own pace. Its a pretty lengthy walk but the scenery keeps you distracted the whole time. The Komodo dragons were fascinating to see but unfortunately the bats werent available. The tigers seemed sleepy and lethargic. Seeing the apes in person was pretty fascinating because they were much larger than I expected them to be. They looked so powerful that we were wondering if they could just hop over to the visitor side if they really wanted to. lol All is safe everyone. The exotic birds section was great because the trainers were feeding them during our visit. They were tossing small mice to them for lunch. Also, they were flying all over area, great stuff.Overall, this was a fun little walk through with plenty of benches if you just want to chill your way through. Tons of social media moments for the gram so keep the camera ready. Enjoy!

I really love walking through here and seeing all the animals even though they are in captivity. They have some large beautiful habitats. The tigers seem to be a favorite of everyone but all the animals attract crowds.

Beautiful habitats set in what looks like the ruins of an ancient Asian palace and grounds. Self paced, so you can watch the animals for as long as you like. Knowledgable guides to answer your questions and provide background. We loved it!

A somewhat hidden gem of Animal Kingdom: this is the walk-through zoo exhibit of the Asia area, with tigers, bats, a bird enclosure, and lots of other creatures. The whole area is beautifully themed.

Great explore on your own zoo path with indigenous animals to the Asian continent. Disney goes all out with their craftsmanship so even what amounts to a few basic animal exhibits are well detailed. Printed guides available to follow along with for those learned inclined.

My oldest kid really enjoyed this portion of the park as he worked on his Wilderness Explorer badges. The employees were very friendly here and helpful with the kids. They easily dedicated their time to explain habitats and animals so that is what makes this better than your average zoo, workers talking to the customers.

This is more or less a small zoo found within Animal Kingdom. But its done in a way so that it feels like the cages are continuous, and the animals are all connected. There are bird and bat exhibits where you can walk in the cage with the animals that add to the experience. I cant say much for the bat section, since it was too cold for them to be out in January, but the bird section was a short walk that was incredibly enjoyable and pushed my review from 3 to 4 stars

This is a terrific off the beaten path attraction. It is located at the and of the Kali Rapids exit. There is a sign and a small entrance to the nature walk.Takes 15 mins and has monkeys, a tiger, bats, and exotic birds. Bring the family and enjoy a leisurely stroll through this jungle area in the Animal kingdom.

An excellent walk through zoo exhibit that features Komodo Dragons, an up close look at bats, Indian Tigers, an exotic bird sanctuary, and more. Well worth the trip, and much better than waiting in lines for rides and shows. It all depends on what you are looking for in Disneys Animal Kingdom. The trails are mostly shaded and the animals are at easy viewing distances in their natural surroundings.
