Even though its only about 30 seconds long its a very good coaster for anyone, from adults to kids. Its a good beginner coaster for kids that want that coaster experience that doesnt want to feel left out.I personally wouldnt wait anything longer than 20 minutes for this ride. But if the queue is very short, ride it. You basically will want more after its done.
This is an excellent kiddo intro coaster. Its short, like that was fun...wait thats it?Its well balanced and plain fun. The first drop and corner it the best. As an adult I would go on it again and again. When we went there was like no line so we asked to go again and got the ok. 2x it was. Also note the seating area is a bit tight. Not too big a deal. Go do it! One of the better rides in the park.
Awesome kid friendly mini rollercoaster. Also really good for timid non thrill seeking adults such as myself. There is a small initial drop and a few fast side turns and then its all over. Really short ride. Cant say how long the wait is since I was on a VIP tour and we were taken straight to the front.
There was someone in my party who is apprehensive towards roller coasters. And this was a perfect fit for... yeah, lets leave it at that. I think this ride is geared towards the younger audiences, however my wife and I had a good time. Its not too wild for the timid and not too long for the scared. I also enjoyed the scenery and simplicity of the ride.
Incredibly short ride with long waits. Ride itself is 1 minute and 6 seconds. It feels like less. Any wait over 30 minutes is not worth it. Our estimated 45 minute wait ended up being a hour longer (1:45). The express line was busy, but VIP tours sneaking through the exit made the wait bad. Attractive scenery and well-maintained ride. Pretty smooth. The Potter section is so busy (even on bad weather weekdays). Older kids/adults wait for the other two Potter rides so all the little kids and grandparents end up at Flight of the Hippogriff nearby. That makes the lines 2x to 4x longer than they should because they are in the Potter section. It also gives younger Potter readers a chance to ride on something in the Potter area. The trouble is that the ride itself is astounding short and nothing special.
Small but nice coaster!
I was told that if you dont have a child riding with you, you cant ride.
Great Roller coaster for all ages! Family ride!
This is a kid-friendly ride in universal Orlando resort just beside Hogwarts castle, a mini roller coaster laid on Hagrids pumpkin patch. You pass Hagrids hut on the way in. Youll see the Hippogriff. So you sit on a hippogriff and go for a roll. Its fun. The wait times are not very long, it was 10 minutes for us. the catch is, we entered at the park at 915 and directly came to Hogsmeade village to take rides. Also, it gives you a nice view of the Hogwarts castle and Hogsmeade village.Rating - 5/10
Very short but makes great use of every meter of track and that says a lot. Its Good for both kids and adults and because it is so short has very quick turnover and thus shorter lines from what I could tell. (I always go the express pass route) Although not a huge Harry Potter fan this one was still a lot of quick thrilling fun! #harrypotter #gryffindor #thewizardingworldofharrypotter
Enjoyable ride but I’d rather wait in line for the other rides in Harry Potter World. Use the fast pass on this ride to make best use of your time!
This is by far the worst Wizarding World ride. It is still not a bad ride, just very plain et super short. I still enjoyed it but I dont think that it is a must-do. There is Buckhead at the beginning of the ride and Hagrids hut in queue, which is cool, but apart from that there is no theming to the ride. I definitely dont like big rides and I can assure you that this one is family friendly. So, for those who are scared like me : Dont worry, there is no upside down 360°! I also found it kind of uncomfortable and very shakey, which Im not sure fits the feeling of flying on a Hippogriff. If you want to go on this ride, I would say that is it definitely not worth waiting for more than for 20 minutes. Considering that Ive tried this ride already, I wouldnt get in again with a more than 10 minutes queue. One good thing is that you can keep your bags with you and dont have to pay for a locker. I still liked this attraction, but it was so quick that it left me thinking: Wait, thats is?
Great beginner roller coaster. Its got some nice smooth speed and dips, quick twists and turns, but nothing too intense. There is enough excitement and thrill for younger riders to start to get into roller coasters. And there is also just enough thrill for veteran coaster riders to enjoy and see the enjoyment that it gives to a new generation. There arent very many coasters out there that can strike the perfect balance between enough thrill that you will want ride again and too thrilling that if you arent a lover of roller coasters you wont ever go on one again. But Flight of the Hippogriff found that balance and can appeal to those on both sides.
Everybody’s experience could be different and this was mineThis is a fast ride short at the same time. I would consider it a kids ride but this one flies arounds Hadrig’s house and it makes it seem as if you are flying over the dark forest but during the day time
It Stole My Hat And If I Dont Get It Back We Are Having Issues
They say its a kids ride, but I think its a must for all the Potterheads! In the morning there is no line, so the stuff might let you ride it twice without going around. And when you are on the top of the ride, there is a beautiful view on the Hogwarts castle!
Great fun here. We had to wait in the que area as we waited for a storm to pass. While here the staff talked to us about stuff from previous rides and how the ride got here. Once on the ride we went around twice. The second time to see if we could do the Mr Bean impersonation try it. Made the second time a lot more fun
Its a fun ride for both little ones and adults. Its entertaining but without the extra intensity. It is nicely themed and if you get on it at evening right before the Hogwarts light show, youll get the best seat in the house.
Best ride at Harry Potter kingdom to me. Enjoyed this since it was a tame roller coaster and fun. Totally okay for everyone.
Great roller coaster for young kids. No loops.
Fun little ride for the waiting time, but way too short! Wish it was more spread out and bit more twisty to really show off the might of hippogriffs. Otherwise, neat!
It’s ok. It’s not a thrill ride so there aren’t any big drops, but it’s very jerky. I popped my neck going around a turn when my hands were up. Hadn’t expected that on a kiddie coaster. Probably would have been fine if I’d held the rail.
Great first roller coaster for kids!
My son said it best: They pack a lot of stuff into a very short ride. Wait wasnt bad, went on it twice. Some strange kid was sweating me so I asked him what was up. He stared at me and said You have brown eyes. It was like the kid that tells Ralphie he likes Santa.
Wait was way too long, it kept breaking down. We waited 6 hrs. for a 3 or 4 minute ride. The family would have really enjoyed it but the wait spoiled it. Hope Universal gets its act together and fixes the problem. We have heard some families waited even longer than we did. I felt like yelling at someone when you get all the way to the ride only to here there is technical difficulties.
Nice to go on a not so wild roller coaster, wish they had few more calmer rides in the parks.
Me and the kids love riding this ride each time we go to universal we go and ride, if it was not for our fast passes the line would take long as anything in harry potter is a long time since is so popular with everyone going to the parks.
Great ride for what it is. Wonderful for smaller kids that may be apprehensive of riding a coaster.
Fun kiddie coaster with a few mildly thrilling moments. Good for the young members of the family.
Mostly 3D rollercoaster made my party sick when they rode it. not suitable for those who might get claustrophobic have moving sickness or get easily disorientated. Other than that super fun line was long but plenty of Harry Potter stuff to look at
This was a dinky little kids roller coaster that is too short. The line is so long because only 10 people can ride at a time and they only have 1 car. Dont be upset if you miss this one.
Even though it is meant for children, it is still a good ride for all ages. Has quite a few drops and is rather fast with a short wait. The longest wait I saw for it was 75 minutes, the shortest being 10, but was actually no wait at all. Rode it 5 times, probably my favourite ride, although not the most thrilling, it is great. Highly recommend.
This ride is more geared towards kids. It’s a coaster with no loops and easier banks and curves. That’s not a bad thing just something to be aware of as most of the coasters in this park are more thrilling. This is a great one to take the kids on as its not near as intense.I also have to admit seeing buckbeak at the beginning of the ride was great. The animatronics were fantastically done on the hippogriff. While riding this you also get some great views of Hogwarts Castle.
Fun and good for the entire family. Its a must do while you are there but it would be nice if they could make it a little longer. Very short especially for the time you wait.
This ride was surprisingly fast. At first, it caught everyone off guard. It is also really short. I think the whole ride was 2 minutes. This keeps the line moving quickly.
A fun, not-too-scary roller coaster.
Such a great ride for kids. Lines can get long but the scenery makes the wait better.
Good roller coaster for kids. Lots of nice Harry Potter theming, cute design on the ride. The ride itself is a bit bumpy, pretty short, not too many exciting bits for adults. Check it out if theres no line or if you brought your kids!
Great for the kids
Very cute short ride, but a dangerous one!
Super super fun wish it wasnt harry Potter cause then the lines wouldnt be so long. Probably would be my favorite ride
Not really that thrilling of a ride. It is super short and has no thrill to it. It is cool to see Hagrids house and the Hyppogriff, but is not an exciting ride.
Good mini-coaster and a good length too
Compared to the other Universal rides, this was a miss. But a great beginner coaster nonetheless.
Fantastic family friendly roller coaster!
Fun, but not for large people, went with someone bigger than me and the bar was tight for him but semi loose for me
Its not a horrible roller-coaster but its nothing great. Its short and doesnt seem a good investment in time to wait for this ride.
This roller coaster was fun, but probably one of the shortest rides in the park. Its unfortunate, because its also one of the few real roller coasters that dont feature crazy drops and therefore can be ridden by everyone.Try not to sit at the back of the cars, or the sudden jerks and curves will probably leave you with a headache, like they did me.
Loved it! Im not into intense roller coasters so this is perfect! Its also very short so if you ride regular roller coasters, this might not be enough thrill for you.
Its for small kids. Not heavy adrenaline, obviously, but very good ride to go with younger children that have his or her first roller coaster experiences. Enjoyable.
Great ride for the family I recommend it for the potter experience
Great ride for a rollercoaster beginners. Mediocre for novice but sweet.
Only lasts 20 seconds. (I timed it).Not worth the wait at all.
Fun family ride next to Hogwarts castle
My 3 year old loved it anyways.
This roller coaster is for children and families. No big drops or big G-forces. Very quick. Dont bother riding it if the line wait is too long.
Great ride. I rode it with my daughter. Love it because you feel like you are flying.
Its an average kids ride. I was with my younger brother who was too small for a lot of the bigger rides, so it was nice to take him on a Harry Potter rollercoaster. He loved it, I probably wouldnt queue for that long on my own.
Cool little roller coaster. The theming is quite poor in comparison to the other rides and somewhat underwhelming. It is definitely a great ride for smaller children or anyone who doesn’t like larger roller coaster
This ride is way too short. Don’t wait more than 10 min for it .
Ride was okay, its meant for kids so its a short roller coaster, but I got a big black bruise from it. Getting off the ride a big chunk of metal was sticking out from the front of the seat and my knee smacked into it while trying to get off. They either need to get that fixed or covered up, but for now be careful getting off!!!!!
I love this ride i ride it every time i go! it is really addicting, in a good way! Im riding it tomorow so excited!!!
This is an extremely quick ride: 30 seconds or less. So Id only recommend it for families with children.
It was my favourite ride in the whole park of somewhat 20 rides. The only thing i would change about it is make it go around twice instead of once
Fun little family rollercoaster!
Just the right amount of excitement for me given my age lol
I find this a bit tame & not a very long ride but its probably not aimed at me. My kids love it & are willing to queue for it, not me though.
Could have been better
Great ride for smaller Harry Potter lovers. The ride is very small and also lacks a storyline like the other rides.
Short but fun
Fantastic coaster for kids and adults!
Really fun smooth but short roller coaster. The line fluctuates a lot, so try to just hit it when it is shorter.
Quick 30 second rollercoaster. Good starter for kids.
This was a fun ride but it was very short. You could tell it had be repurposed for Harry Potter world.
Nice little coaster for the kids. Very busy area so be prepared.
Oddly intense for a kids rollercoaster, even adults can enjoy!
Great flight! Kids like it a lot!
Glad we had a fast pass for this one. The ride lasts about 10 seconds.
Good small coaster for the smaller riders, its quite violent though and its definitely faster than it looks!
Its a quick attraction, but you will enjoy it.
Good small roller coaster, not for large people. Its a little rough but for kids who might be nervous to ride a rollercoaster this is a great starter.
It is a really slow ride as its for kids and the line is kinda long but it is good
The worst of the 3 Harry Potter rides, this is a bit short and not too exciting. But its worth going on if its a short line
Well, I was pretty pumped, because it looked slower looking at it. Once you get on its fast and twisty. I like medium roller coasters, not loop de loop ones. Tbh, those are just scary. Flight of the H͛I͛P͛P͛O͛G͛R͛I͛F͛F͛ made me nauseous after. Its scary when it goes on the side, and you are close to the ground. My dad and I didnt loose anything. I was holding my wand and it was just... Yea. I like baby rollar coasters because they just go in a circle like 5 times tbh
It was AMAZING!
Very fun little rollercoaster. Just wish it was longer
This ride should be in Magic Kingdom
That ride is ok only for children. Do not go up here, if you are 15+
Good small roller coaster
Its cute but not really worth the wait. Its a roller coaster designed for little kids.
It is a good coaster for young kids and is really short. The queues are quite large for this which is unfortunate.
I didnt really like that I had to wait 40 minutes for a minute ride. other than that its a good ride.
I rode this four times. I wish it was longer but anyone can ride because it doesnt have loops or big drops.
Not a major ride but lots of fun!
