Efficient, Simple process. Great variety of gun stock. Gun Prices are decent. Ammo available for purchase but priced more than market. If you are looking for someone to share with you the pros and cons of each gun, this store is not for you. COVID related employees did not wear mask. Employees were friendly enough for people that sell goods.

Brought in a bow rest I bought online to be installed and have my bow papertuned. Hunter was very professional and friendly. I recommend bringing your bow here for maintenance!

Called the shop after speaking to my bow’s manufacturer about upgrading my bow limbs. Guy that answered had a bad attitude like I was wasting his time. Asked the guy about upgrading my limbs and he told me it would be cheaper to buy a new bow at $1600+. Keep in mind I spoke to Hoyt and they told me no problem and new limbs were $200. I just laughed and hung up.Guys at southern oaks do not want your business; go somewhere else.

This place is awesome! The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They also have a wide and diverse selection of firearms available to purchase. I have made several purchases through them, defiantly hit this place up!

I brought my bow in here after taking it to bass pro, the bass pro shop employee made the problem worse and caused an arrow to break. Southern Oaks Gun and Pawn offered great customer service and tuned my bow perfectly. I highly recommend coming here if you have any issues, the employee clearly knew what he was doing.

Do NOT do business here. The younger guy did not explain all the regulations for pawning a firearm until after the process was completed. We were not allowed to cancel the transaction and now we are not allowed our firearm back because we were told my boyfriend fits a demographic so he didnt pass the background check when we went to pay off the account. Hes a white male btw. So as of now while we appeal this process they probably just took our $800 AR15 for $140 pawn. What a great deal for them. I bet they make a lot of money off people that way.

The guys at Southern Oaks and Pawn were the most courteous and very knowledgeable about the guns I was looking at. Was not there for pawn. I pick out a couple of guns and they never had the look that sometimes you get when you are shopping. Im Updating my previous post below. I went in to see these guys right as the Covid-19 pandemic was hitting. I have to tell you that many folks took it as an opportunity to price gouge. NOT SOUTHERN OAKS GUN AND PAWN!! They didnt raise one price and were doing a great job of being polite to people who needed help going into an uncertain time. Thanks for having class and being decent people!!!This place is great. You can easily forget it is a pawn shop, as they have a great line of sporting goods that all sportsman desire such as; Costa Del Mar Sunglasses, Benchmade Knives, Mathews Bows, and all sorts of firearms. Additionally they are a Glock distributor and have a lot of upgrade parts for all types of pistols. Great guys! Go see them!

Over priced on almost every single gun they had. Not sure how they think their used guns are worth the same or more than a new one. For anyone shopping here do yourself a favor and use google. It takes a couple seconds and could save you a good amount of money. For my experience I went in looking for a certain AK47 and they had one used for $800 I got online and ordered that same exact AK47 brand new for $619 shipped and it came with 4 mags. I have been collecting/buying guns for years and keep an eye on current prices very closely and I have never seen a half way decent price on a firearm here.

For those people who said on their review not to go ever again they are correct they didnt have what I needed for my Ruger and I need it two different items Shrek 2 then they trying to charge me $10 for a used bag just for the name that was on the bag I think I gave them one too many stars and not to mention the guy behind the counter was watching me like I wanted to steal something. Walked into this place not knowing much about ar-15 rifles, spent about 2 hours With Kyle and Hunter and these guys rolled out the red carpet the answered every question without hesitattion or making me feel like im not welcomed, serveral shops previous had made faces to my questions .the helped me to make and informed descison and have a customer for life, I cannot speak enough about these two if you are in the market do not hesitate to stop by and see them . they have everything you could ever want and or need .

Good guys working there, went in just to check out there guns and check out my options for concealed carry. They seem to provide quality service, and thats hard to find these days. I will be back.

Fair price for the weapon that I bought but they said that it had been disassembled and cleaned. If it had been cleaned they better get a new guy it looked as though it had never been disassembled.

They sell OEM Glock Ameriglo Tridium Night Sights. Theyre used and overpriced. They charge the same price as brand new Trijicon/non-HD night sights which are $95-$105. OEM Glock Ameriglos run $60-$70

These guys have been in Orlando forever and used to have a questionable rep. The folks there now are up front, no nonsense, and totally friendly to any normal person. Prices are fair and huge inventory with high variety. I will be returning here for my next purchase for sure.

Kyle the owner is good people. However he has a seemingly know it all sales guy with the spikey haircut. Do yourself a favor and avoid this guy. He is rude and abrasive. And not very knowledgeable.

You would never know that there is a great gun shop like this right in the heart of Orlando! Not only do they have a huge selection of shot guns, rifles, handguns, and defense firearms but they also can get you any new gun in the store for cheaper then Bass Pro or Gander Mountain. Two thumbs up! As for the two bad reviews below about service..... I have sat in this shop time and time again and there is constant traffic in there and remember they are a pwn shop in a downtown area. The have some real characters come through there. I may not be terribly personal either after dealing with some of those folks that walk through the door. Either way if you want a good product and you show the guys you are a serious buyer they will give you all of the attention you want.

Great customer service. I have been in twice, once to buy some accessories for my Glock 21. Second time was to go in and buy a Glock 17. Both times I received prompt service and great advice .

Went in to Trade my Taser X26c into the shop. The only people that would look at it. Not crazy about pawn shops, however went to go see them. Very friendly group of guys. They had a few people in the store that seem liked repeat customers. But from the sounds of them I did not make a bad choice on coming out to the place. They know their stuff, would recommend any first buyers to come out and see what they have to offer. Tell them Nick with the Taser sent you!
