Very photogenic... beautiful pond with a nice bike trail perimeter. Ample parking to take a ride into Rubio Woods

A lovely little oasis. You can walk a very long loop around several blocks of forest preserve. Its connected to the large Cook County Forest Preserve trail system. You can enter from several locations. Note, Google Maps isnt fully updated- the trails are a little different from what they have. Cook County has made significant improvements to the trails recently.

Big open field, by the pavilion. Nice lake, with fishing opportunities. Plenty of biking trails.

To many weirdos creeping around the parking spots. Cant even eat a lunch without someone stopping and staring.

Its a pretty chill park with a lake and a bike trail. Theres some renovations being done but overall a good place. Watch out for the geese though, they are very aggressive sometimes.

Nice, quiet nature preserve. Fishing is allowed. Hilly topography allows you to look down at the lake from the parking area. They also have a picnic pavilion.

I grew up near these woods, rode my bike out there years before they paved the trails. I prefer dirt or crushed gravel to pavement, but they are pretty well maintained (not full of freeze cracks). I dont know about the other facilities there, just the trails which arent very crowded, which is nice. Doesnt seem to be a lot of riffraf you can come across in some forest preserves...

Great place for a picnic. Sit and watch the lake. Very peaceful and relaxing and rejuvenating.

I love this place ! Any way I can rent it out for my baby shower 100-150 people. Would they let me bring my own tents,tables, chairs ...etc.?

Good place to park and ride the bike trail. However, no access this summer as the trail is under reconstruction.

Greatway to get your exercise walk around the Lake . They are doing some construction to a enable the lake to hold more water for flood protection.
