I had such a fabulous experience with both Maddie and Kat. I felt so welcome and cared for within the space and just really enjoyed each and every moment of my time there. Laurel met me at the front and toured me through the salon and set the tone for my time there. As a green salon, they are doing so many awesome things for the environment!When I sat down to get my hair done, Maddie took the time to consult with me and also price-out the services she suggested. This is something that no one has ever done for me before and I really appreciated it. It was so nice to know exactly what the cost was for what she recommended before she started. She was really intentional about giving me her opinion when I asked and going through our options and the result is a color and cut that I LOVE.I also got my eyebrows waxed by Kat and she was so sweet and caring. I usually have bright red skin for hours after I get waxed, but between Kats gentle methods and the incredible soothing lotion afterwards, you could barely tell I got waxed. My eyebrows looked amazing!I was in major need of some TLC and these ladies hit it out of the park! Conversation was so easy and comfortable with both Maddie and Kat. Finally, the style and aesthetic of the salon is just so lovely and inviting. You can feel that it is a caring and collaborative environment. It was an all-around fabulous experience!

It was my first time at the salon and everything went well! They did all the COVID screenings and the salon was very clean. Kat did a consultation and did amazing work on my hair. I am so happy with my haircut! The decor of the salon is also very inviting and cozy. I also bought some new hair products which I am loving. I hope to try out their facials one day soon!

My experience at LiveEdge was amazing. I went to see Maddie for a hair cut and she exceeded my expectations; she used great products and explained them to me as she used them, was friendly and maintained great conversation, and of course did a killer job on my hair. As someone with a sensitive scalp haircuts usually aren’t my favorite but Maddie was very gentle with my hair and she paid close attention to every little detail. Great experience. The salon was also very clean, the staff was very very welcoming and kind, and I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in.

I immediately felt welcome and comfortable when I walked into see the lovely ladies at the front desk and then my eyes were amazed to see plants of all types integrated into the wooden decor, a clean and zen ambiance. The service was beyond all expectations, from a warm cup of coffee, to being offered the luxury treatment at half cost as a new customer would make anyone feel like a Queen (or King!!).Its so rejuvenating because of the wonderful organic products they use and they truly listen to you throughout the experience to get an idea of what youd like to do with your hair, they want to be on the same page and thats refreshing.I highly recommend you stop in and get the royal treatment from any of the fantastic women there, the vibe is just right because of the music and relaxed atmosphere. These women are artists and cosmetic professionals.

LiveEdge has awesome hair care. The stylist listened to my wants and fulfilled them perfectly. Mary and the other ladies are delightful. 2nd most important thing is they are environmentally friendly. I went to Live Edge for their waxing service, I was greeted promptly and was taken back to the waxing studio and was in and out very quickly and Richelle did a great job and is very personable. I highly recommend them for all your hair and beautification needs.

Ive been going here for 2 years now, and really like the vibe of the place. I always get a great cut from Mary Jo - she listens really well, offers you lots of options, and is always very straightforward. Highly recommend this salon - its in the heart of Oregon City downtown, and you can go get great food or drinks or coffee after. Final piece of advice - park up the hill and take the elevator down! Youll miss all the traffic!

I have loved calling Live Edge my salon home for years as I consistently (every 4 weeks) color my hair to hide premature grey. Simultaneously, despite the coloring, I want hair that is and will remain, strong, healthy, and vibrant. Ive chosen Live Edge in part because they invest in product best suited not only for the environment but for the long-term health of my head and hair. Add to that keeping me stylish despite my age (in my 50s now) and Im a loyal customer.But how wonderful to learn how skilled the staff is at also working with my 20-year-old daughter and whatever interesting color (green one year, pink the next) she has been interested in pursuing. As a mom, Im glad she can play with her hair cut and color but I feel better knowing were not plastering our heads in a series of harsh chemicals. Add age-appropriate style to the mix (regardless of our generation) and its easy to give the welcoming and warm staff 5 stars. [Hint: they also offer a 10-minute scalp massage in the washbowl for $10. Its the best $10 youll spend in a month! Be sure to be vocal as to pressure preferences as they can offer a variety of options from gentle to very firm.]PS: Ive been to a good share of salons over the years prior to Live Edge. And have always been bothered by an atmosphere of side comments Ive heard from stylists before or after clients are in their chair. Comments range from disrespectful, discourteous, to less toxic shop gossip about individuals. No doubt I was part of that gab at one point or another. I can honestly say at Live Edge, Ive never heard a stylist or front desk staff member say anything less than professional about any guest before or after their visit. Regardless of gender, age, requested style, whatever. Live Edge is a safe place to be yourself.

Last minute call in, and they were able to get me in the same day! Kat did an amazing job on my cut and highlight! Throughout the whole process, she communicated everything from A to Z, leaving no suprises at the end. She really took the time to listen and make sure we were on the same page before starting. It was a nice change, from crossed fingers that my stylist knew what I wanted. The Ambiance in this place is so relaxing and earthy. I have been coming to Sidney for over 2 years. My hair always feels & looks great. I get so many compliments on the coloring, as it looks so natural (and completely covers all my gray) so no one knows my age!!!! I have a great time catching up with the girls. The location is very convenient and I never have trouble finding parking. I love seeing all the new handmade goodies in the store.

I discussed what I wanted and what I could accomplish with my hair and everything was priced and broken down for extended maintenance for my clear understanding of my needs and then we proceeded. No surprise costs at the end. I love my look and the products are all natural and have caused no irritation to my sensitive scalp. This place is worth the expense. Make sure to come early to look for parking, as parking is problematic.

I went in today unexpectedly and found a secret treasure in downtown Oregon City, I had no idea we had a local salon that was organic hair color and natural products everywhere in her store!! Highly recommend, the staff is so talented! Update: my daughter went in for a hair trim with a lot of layers, she wished were not there and I swear Sydni the owner and stylist made magic happen! She’s so knowledgeable, talented and made my daughter’s hair gorgeous! I have no words how impressed our whole family was... Highly recommend!

I saw Kat Renecker at the salon last week and couldnt be happier about my experience! I have had trouble finding a stylist who listened to pain points about my hair and actually made a difference; Kat heard my issues and cut my hair in a way that really improved the look and feel. The products at the salon are also phenominal; I couldnt find one grey hair after Kat dyed it and I cant recall the last time I got full grey coverage from any salon/stylist. Also the hairspray she used kept my curls bouncy for days! Incredible experience all around and I couldnt recommend the stylist or salon enough. I havent found a salon or stylist enough to keep me coming back as a regular but my hair is looking the best it has in awhile thanks to Kat and I will be back soon!
