I dont like how the restaurants are literally making this part of the old towne of Orange a food court. A lot of these historic buildings used to sell very nice antiques and carried a lot of history between the owners of the buildings. Now to me, its just a place where you can just go out and eat instead of learning the great history and memorabilia of the orange circle. I am very saddened that there are barely any stores left and almost all of them have turned into a food place.
Love love love this area! Allot of antique stores, & great places to eat!! Nothing boring about this area! Super cute place for taking pictures around the water fountain! I am usually here two times a week.
Wide selection of restaurants and shops. Snooze is great from breakfast and brunch or watsons for dinner. Lots of bakerys and thrift shops too. Great place if you like to visit film locations as well.
As far as I can see, out door seating is available for all the eateries in the circle. Good for them. I have already reported on my visit to the 7 Mares, which is is in immediate vicinity of the circle. Good food, recommended.
Perfect setting for a picnic. Gorgeous green hills, big trees, sweeping views, dogs galore.
My favorite place to go to spend an evening or walk around during the daytime. I love going there to eat so many different restaurants and shops.
Did our book signing and store appearance at Tiddlywinks OC. The plaza is a great place to spend time with the family during the time of Covid. Businesses are practicing safe social distancing and people wear masks. Come and support a local business so theyll be here when we all make it past Covid.
I like to chill, light up a blunt and relax there, sometimes warm up to skate there overall Pretty chill vibe
Walked around and checked out some shops and ate at the restaurants. Nice and relaxing. Very social distant
It was so nice to come here. There were a variety of different foods to eat. They were covid 19 compliant. We had a great dining experience at Watsons. Portola serves freshly roasted, pure, premium, authentic coffee as opposed to other cheap coffees with fillers. The circle was relaxing as we hung out listening to the blues and enjoying the sundown.
I definitely enjoyed watching people eating out side of the restaurants, it looked so peaceful ️
Everyone should visit the Orange Plaza. In the day anytime and at night when the holiday lights are up. Great restaurants, fun shops and sightseeing.
Great place to walk and hang out. Get a bite to eat. Would recommend to a friend
Relaxing at 1 of the benches by the fountain in the center seeing other people eating talking laughing. Coffee shops and a few other stores are open to help enjoy the beautiful weather.
Best urth cafe !!! Love it this place
Its the best place to go in olde town orange even now with the outdoor dining i just wish the bars were open
Was passing through here after sunset and theres one or two people hanging around which made me feel uncomfortable, maybe a new protective feeling from walking with my wife and kid. Accessing it via the traffic circle didnt feel particularly safe either. However, the scenery seems nice and its probably a great place to hang out during the day.
I love this little park and its fountain. Benches and trees all around for enjoying the sights and sounds of Old Town Orange.
Every labor day weekend the city or Orange hosts the O.C. street fair, and its always an amazing time. Its a great place to listen to some bands, eat some grub and have a few beers. Get ready for a great time because everyone is going to be there ;)
Food, fun, and a nice walk on 4 of July. And a fly over
Old and modern all in one place! Live the lovely environment and friendly people!
Cute little park for a picnic. It looks like a community garden. Not a real park with swings but perfect to just sit and look at the trees
Old fashioned vibe and a laid back attitude combine for a friendly social atmosphere. Mild So Cal weather makes it a pleasant visit nearly year-round.
This tiny park is in the center of the orange circle roundabout. That means youll always need to cross a crosswalk to get to it. The primary attraction is the fountain. The downside is car stereos and motorcycles revving engines detracts from the ambiance. When its less busy its a nice spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or an ice cream.
My favorite place to walk to! After our morning flamenco class at Naranjita we walk to the fountain and play. Then we have lunch at one of the yummy restaurants.
Lovely place with an old school feel to it. Makes you feel like you went back in time a bit. Good for night walks too.
So relåxed, with my Stiiizy ånd Fåmily just enjoying the evening
Nice place to visit....went last Christmas Eve to see the lights...its a short walk from the house and then went to some specific streets to look at the lights...but its a nice visit anytime of year, and you can eat or have a drink...during the day there are shops, antique stores, Plenty of coffee places.
Great place to go on the weekend or first date. Such a fun place for a short walk with your dogs or kids. Great food im every direction. Thanks and have a good day!
Great place, really relaxed vibe and full of antique shops.
Great location for photos or just to walk around. Lots of good food locations near and antique stores. Parking can be a pain on busy days, but there are several parking lots with free parking just a street or two away
Such a nice to eat meet friends just hang out
This is the circle of Orange. Strolling under the large trees and sitting by the fountain is almost a sacred activity to us locals. Wonderful one of a kind food and drink establishments mixed in with old fashion antique stores. Host of iconic movie scenes, as well as many wonderful traditions, street fairs, tree lighting ceremonies. Old and young alike can always enjoy making memories here.
Great outdoors dinners.fun time people watching.
Lovely throw back to a time thought past .. and Back to the Future stage. A good place to take a break by the fountain while cruising the antique shops. Frequent, interesting shows & fairs utilize the plaza area well as a community resource making the City of Orange such an inviting community.
The Filling Station never disappoints! This town is so charming, really...many movies filmed here. Nearby Chapman University.
Great dining, I bought my fiances engagement ring here. I love this whole part of town
Nice, clean small park with lots of stores and restaurants near by.
A good park. The park is in a really interesting location. Its the only park that Ive seen thats in the middle of a roundabout. Theres no playground or anything like that. Just a large fountain, some grass, and lots of benches. Its more of a place to go to when you want to relax instead of play.
Love this spot of history.
Wow, just a wonderful place. Peaceful, pretty, nice place to kick back and sit, relax, people watch. I grew up here and the memories are near unless. Truly love this place.
I traveled from Mansfield ohio in 1969. It had a round plaza just like this. What are the chances I would come to a town just like the one I left. I have been here 51 years and love it.
Orange plaza is always a delightful place to go. They have bird feeders with birds that costly come by to chatter and talk to you. It got walking paths to take you through the center of the circle and show you the seasons that are flowing past.Youll find Starbucks, the Masonic center, Krystals hair studio, Wells Fargo, bagel me, Pizza, pies and more.its a place that I feel comfortable walking in whether its 8 a.m. in the morning or 12 at night. Its a place to celebrate enjoy being part of a small community.Although parking can be limiting, there are city parking lots as well as places to park around the center and Ive never had a time when I havent been able to park.If you enjoyed my review, please LIKE me. As always thank you for your time and energy. Living absolutely amazing life!
I love the architecture here and I was born and grew up in Orange so its part of my story so of course I have a soft spot in my heart for this place.
Beautiful little park in the round-about just south of Chapman University. But why is a circular park called Orange Plaza Square Park? Its not square!
Nice small and beautiful town. Excellent variety of good food.
A quaint area.
Stopped in to experience the International fair that was on thru the labor day weekend. Too crowded but the weather made it worse for me. Had to step in to a Bar just to use the bathroom, the Chase bank was closed and the atm machines they set out for temp use-were useless. The music and friends made it worth while. Took Uber out there cause I didnt want to chance parking. All in all, didnt plan this outing very well. So hopefully by next year Ill have it downpacked.
The heart of Old Town.
Nicely decorated for Christmas this square park is lovely place to sit on the bench next to the fountain and relax...
Old town is very nice Lots of eateries.
Always a great spot to people watch..love sitting the fountain so calming.
I love this historic old town, especially because of the international food fair!! Good food and drink.
Awsome car show here in orange. What a great town and city. They actally have a place to walk and enjoy your day. The car show and the historically kept town just take you back to a time. Better than disney land.....
Whether youre chilling with your hyna, looking for a comfortable spot to relax and read a book, walking off that delicious meal from that quirky little restaurant, or have an urge to people watch this little circular spot is great for whatever you want to do. Complete with entertaining fountain to lose yourself in if youre in the mood.
Wow. My first visit here to THE WALL restaurant a few days ago.The sloppy Joe sliders were fantastic. The elote fries with pork on the side was addicting. Just enough for muching on with beer or which ever beverage you prefer. You can get beer on tap as well. Outside tables are nice except for the pesky flies. But on a nice summer day, you know this is the place to hang out. Its a good place to chat with friends and people watch on the Circle. If you like this review, please click the like button. Thanks and have a good day!
So nice, you feel you are in Andalusian Spain or a century back in the west
Christmas tree lighting every year.Something to behold and shows all is not lost for peoples faith
This is a very pretty plaza
My family has a Saturday tradition of the Orange Home Grown Farmers Market then walking to the fountain for a picnic. Top that w digging through the antique shops and an ice cream float at Watsons Soda Shop for a fun relaxing day.
The park looked nice, but we really went there to check out the antique shops. There were too many to do in a single day. We ate at the Pizza Press, which we enjoyed.
Nice family place to be and hang out
Always a great time, relaxing, people watching and grabbing a bite to eat here.
Music, great food, beautiful area, fun to walk!
They are really upgrading the businesss in the circle which appear to be mostly food and drink. Although they are all really good, I miss all the antique stores which you could spend a day walking through.
A really fun family outing (family is all old enough to drink) micro brewery, then dinner at the fried chicken place and a very lovely walk around the circle. A great time was had by all.
Perfect place to grab some coffee and just sit back and vege
Such a fun place for a short walk with your dogs or kids. Great food im every direction
Nice place to relax and enjoy the sun and people watch.
Antique shops galore! Super fun place to spend the day. Watsons Pharmacy is fantastic! Great food and old-fashioned ice cream sundaes.
A bit deserted due to covid19 restrictions.
Such an amazingly relaxing place. Tons of food and shopping.
1980 vibe. This is one of my best spot to take wedding photo
Its old school, yeah its for the new rich..And Im not.. but holsome with slot of food choices and antique stores to bring you back thru history we should all cherish
Love spending time here with the grandsons having lunch.
Classic American town square experience with a water fountain in the middle of the circle. Prime people watching spot.
Great place for photo shoot. Took family picture there.
Nostalgic walking around the Circle.
Historical and nice to walk there. I have a lot of history there. Even a large streak in the 70s lol.
Orange Circle is beautiful as ever
Charming park, with restful gardens and a fountain, surrounded by interesting shops, cafes and restaurants.
Cute little park. Great date place
Love this place. Home sweet home
Beautiful place all year round.
Best place to sit and watch people and small town events and activities.
Love it. It is so quaint and charming. It is great to walk around and visit all the shops in the area. Love that there is so many great options to eat in the adjacent blocks. Chapman U is just blocks away too. A great time to visit is during Labor Day weekend for the International Fair.
Zitos pizza was great
Orange downtown is a nice place to visit. Lots of Ma and Pa shops. Street fair is coming soon!
A lot of fun shops. Many newer. Can be a bit hectic with number of individuals walking and traffic.
Great place.
This is a great place to stroll around to check out restaurants, antique stores or bars.
I absolutely LOVE this place this season.
