Our daughter takes lessons here. Im so pleased with how serious they are taking the pandemic. The kids and coaches all wear masks, and sanitize!

I don’t know why people are rating this place so high but I’m going to let the pictures do the talking. Look at the women’s bathroom!!! The floor, wall and ceiling are chipped and falling away. This place needs to put money into renovations. The ice isn’t smooth and felt rigid upon arrival of public skate. I tried not to touch anything that’s how gross it was.

Awesome place. Cool owner. We are coming back as often as possible. All my kids are addicted. I just need dog ice skates...Just kidding.

I play hockey here, the team is good but the rink is trash. they need to fix all of the flooring and make it look more modern. Its not the 1957s any more, COME ON NOW.

Had a great time during their public skating with the boys. Not as spacious as some other rinks, but admission with rentals was just ten bucks! The main advantage of this rink is that it isnt too crowded and its easy for beginners to get some practice without advanced skaters zipping around them.

This place is way worse than it used to be! I saw the owner literally yelling at his employees in front of everyone for no reason! The workers are great but the management has ruined this place.

A super fun day with friends and familyThis is a kids friendly place. Perfect for newbies and advanced. Dress warmI have not skate in 10 years, we all fall a couple of times, but you can get the hang of balance in short time. It was fun for us. You can also rent a raindeer a skating toy assistant to help young one, too bad they only had 2 of them, they should have a couple more.Surely the place does need painting and cleaning. But overall is nice to have a nearby ice skating rink.Thank you to the staff.

They were so nice to our handful of 6 year old babies. They ran all over that place and they were nothing but nice, people that train that and that are the all the time helped our little ones get on the ice and skate or would go and bring them back from clear across the ice when they were si cold and stuck. Thank you to all of you, especially the man in the green shirt that saved my little boy and then took him around the ice 2 different times because he asked him to, you sir are an angel. Now he wants to learn to ice skate so Im sure we will be in the rink a lot more often.

This is great for a bunch of children who are up to no good they want to ignore others when they grow and become staffers in the capitol quarter

The Ice Skating ring is nice but needs to be smooth out more often it gets rough with the amount of people that skate. But overall a cool place try to go to the public skating while they have the Disco lights

The experience was great! The instructors are very helpful and they teach you well. They are also very, very nice and outgoing.

Edit: ill change this to 2 stars, only cause the people around the rink are nice.Im a freestyle skater and play hockey at the solar4america rinks in San Jose, CA. Even the smaller rinks in SJ that have a semi decent system in place to keep the ice solid are better than this place.I went on 6/9/18, and the rink at the start of the public skate session was already melting away in the middle of the rink, by the time it was 3:45pm the entire rink was covered in water. It was only 90 degrees yesterday, so its not a matter of how hot it was outside, its a matter of the system in place to keep this rink on ice.I would have asked for a refund but when I saw other bad reviews about the owners behavior, I decided to bite the bullet on this one and just leave a review.Ill change this to a 5 star review once the rink gets a better system in place.

I used to skate her I love this place and how a whole family works here I miss this place so much.

Mean and combative owner. I could not believe an owner would talk to a customer with such disrespect. I brought my sons to enjoy something for the holiday. There was a terrible accident on the road and we got there late, so I asked the owner if there was a discount if we came for half of the duration of public skate, the owner rudely said, No, then everyone would want to do that. I thought, fair enough and I paid him $33 for 1.5 hours of skate. Then we waited for minutes to get our skates. I called to see if anyone would help us, no answer. My 9 year old son whistled softly. He came out, looked at my 9 year old son, and stated unkindly, Do not whistle at me, its very rude! I said, Please do not talk to my child that way, we were waiting to be serviced. He responded, I do not serve you. We do not serve, we are not servers! I said, Ill be sure to mention that on Yelp. He said, Yelp does not hurt my business! I said, I have a business and we care about our Yelp and the way we treat customers. He just started asking me questions about business, but in a way to continue an argument. I finally said, May I please have the skates please. I would have left had it not been for my sons. He continued to snort and huff and puff at me as I asked about sizes and if the shoes had already been disinfected. It left a bad taste in my mouth to do business with a man who does not value customers. Its small business-minded. Not to mention, that the place could use some tlc.

Needs n uplift

Went here for a hockey game. First, let me compliment the staff. They were very nice and helpful. Thats were it ends. The locker rooms are small and have no door just those flaps you use between cold and warm parts. It was like being in a walkin cooler. It was so cold in the rink and were used to ice rinks. There was a scoreboard, but it was in a location where you couldnt see it plus they didnt even use it. It was hard to really watch a game without the scoreboard. The place needs a ton of work.Im giving this place 2 stars only because of the staff.

Little bit run down and crowded but works

Absolutely terrible maintenance of the ice. It was ridged and bumpy, and extremely dirty in some places. The ice was melting all over the place, turning rows of the rink into slush, making it dangerous to skate on. People were allowed onto the ice with their sneakers! The mats outside of the rink as well as the bar of the rink itself were scuffed, dirty, pulled apart, and cracked in some places. Not to mention very short public skate times. No employees are watching the rink during public skate times.The few good things about the place were the friendly employees and the upkeep of the blades on the rental skates. I was impressed with the sharpness of the blades on my rentals, since most of my experience with rentals in other rinks have been dull.Id come back here if they did a serious clean-up of the rink. It just seems uncared for and neglected in a lot of ways. Its a shame that first-time skaters come here and believe that thats quality. First-time skaters, this is NOT what a quality rink is. Dont waste your time and money!

I went skating here for practice because my usual rink was hosting a competition and let me tell you this place is horrible. There is a disgusting odor coming from the mats on the floor and the bathroom has wood decay from moisture. Its dark and musty not to mention the ice is terrible. There is possibly termite damage on the ceiling and possibly mold. Would highly recommend going 5min down the street to Center Ice Arena they are 100% better! I am NEVER coming to this place again.

Such a fun place to go ice skating. It is a popular place but not too crowded on the ice rink. They also have ice skates so you dont have to bring your own.

Little snacks, fun atmosphere, music at a nice level...what more can you expect from an ice rink prices are $9 with skate rental $7 with your own skates. Good price for the fun although the ice does get choppy...family friendly spot. Overall Id definitely come here again

The ice is really cold.

First time at the place I didnt like it at all. I took 2 of my girls and best friends. My daughters friends dont know how to ice skate and it was scary for them because of the Jockey players .I think the Jockey players should have there time for them selfs. The jockey do what they wants and I dont think that is fair for the rest of the ice skaters . So I want my money back. Didnt have fun it was my daughters 18 th birthday so that is why we decided to go ice skating.

Great place

Rink needs a lot of maintenence. The zamboni had just finished smoothing out the ice, and it didnt even look glassy like any other rink. We went onto the ice immediately when it was done, and there were huge gouges in the ice, and what looked like mold in the ice by the walls. Went around the rink 3 times before we decided to give up and leave.

Ice skating in Ontario. Ice is pretty poorly maintained, but having such a venue is quite a challenge. Too loud for older folks, but teenagers love it. Good option for such a group. Skates are quite new considering.

The price is acceptable for what you get and to get a mediocre ice skating experience for the sake of ice skating is okay with me. The rink is small and with so many people on a small rink going round and round, the ice gets chopped up pretty fast. Zamboni came out once the entire night which was not enough. I didnt fall but it was hard to stay balanced. Our shoes were also worn in and some poor customers Ive noticed really needed their skates replaced because they looked really uncomfortable in them.

Great place to skate with kids.

The inside is a little dated but the trainers and coaches seem to love what theyre doing so its a good atmosphere for the kids

Ive been going for three years, its a great place to learn and meet good people.

The ice and rink are very badly maintained even dangerous in places. When concerns where brought up to the owner he shrugged his shoulders and walked away. You would think with another larger nicer rink a couple blocks away he would care about loosing business.

Really cool place, most of the staff are really nice, there was this one teenager that was really nice and funny (he was my instructor) and the people in the front are really nice, however on my next month of ice skating I got these two staff who were boring and they just talked to each other and I ended up getting bored of it and those instructors got distracted and everything so I ended up just leaving.

I currently started skating here i have a private instrutor and take a class I LOVE IT SO MUCH its very fun people are extreamly nice amazing price for family nights i definitly think anyone with intrest in skating should come here and if you are serious about it there is an instructor that sells custom skates gloves and more

This place is terrible i went last week theirs no ceiling anymore just wood panels you can see the sky through .bathrooms were closed . the whole place is dirty and disgusting . ice was melting completely . this place is dirty and disgusting please never go here

The skates werent the best, some of the blades were at a weird angle, making it more difficult to skate, the ice was extremely choppy, but its ice skating and its still a fun place to go
