Havent been down by the water but love the view from up top. Has a few swings and picnic tables to sit at and relax. Public restroom available that is roomy and well lit. Lots of nice touches like the beautiful artwork and gas fire in the rocks. Love the musical instruments and human sundial. Kids enjoy watching the trains go by.

I absolutely love walking the Trail at the Great River Landing! Im there every other day walking 5 miles. Its beautiful there! I highlu recommend it!

We found this to be a wonderful park to enjoy the Mississippi. Its a beautiful facility with comfortable swinging benches to enjoy the beautiful views.

What a beautiful spot! Perfect for looking out and getting exercise on the trail.

The picnic area has comfortable tables. The restrooms are clean. There are music instruments for kids to play and a human sun dial in the pavement. The sun dial works when you stand on the current month marker and your shadow is cast on the time of day. There is not a playground or anything else for kids. There is a gas fire pit that can be turned on by anyone. It is pretty cool. Parking is nice and the whole area is safe. The benches swing and are nice for relaxing. The water access is not developed much at this time, but I believe it will be in the future. There are freight trains that barrel through frequently and blast their horns right by the park. There is easy access to downtown main street and Dash Park. There is also a tourist office in the park building. It is never open when I visit, so I cannot comment on it.

Very lovely place to spend your afternoon or early mornings anytime of the day for that matter friendly staff clean restrooms all together and all around a great place to be thank you

Great River Landing is a scenic little park on the Great River Trail, with bathrooms, showers, a bike station, picnic tables, and my favorite - the porch swings.

Very nice setting overlooking the river. Great place to stop with a bag lunch and relax. Access to the bike trail too!

This is a very pretty area with really nice picnic tables, porch swings with a view of the river, restroom facilities, outdoor percussion instruments, plenty of free parking, and well-kept landscaping.

I walk around the landing everyday! Its so peaceful, and even at night I feel safe!

My 2.5 year old son and I came with my grandparents and this was a highlight of our trip for the whole family (we were visiting them). My son enjoyed the musical instruments, my grandpa enjoyed the swinging benches, my grandma enjoyed everyone being together. We saw a train! What a great spot to relax!

Peaceful and absolutely gorgous view of Lake Onalaska and the Mississippi River. Nice access to restrooms, drinking water, beverage machine and tire pump. There is also a tourism office with posted office hours. On the backside deck of the building facing the Lake Onalaska, one can take a pleasant break from the sun at one of several spacious picnic tables or oversized swings. Its a very nice, clean and fresh feel area.

Great place to stop off and enjoy the scenery. They have nice seating, restrooms, visiter center, and some cool musical installations for kids.

It currently has an awesome Christmas village display in the main building that can be seen from the outside. It is lit up from 5:00-10:00 p.m. until January 1st. There is also a gas fire pit that you can sit by. You turn it on with the control knob on the side of the building. You can also sit on the swings and watch the sun go down over the bluffs. It also sits across from Dash Park which has a 36 foot artificial Christmas tree perfect for a Christmas family picture.

Excellent facility for a trail head. Bathrooms were well maintained and there was an area for young and old to try out their musical skills or just to plunk away some time. I like the sundial.

Nice place to take a short walk. Looks like a decent place to fish (saw others fishing, but we didnt). It is right next to the railroad tracks, but its pretty quiet otherwise.

Family friendly neighborhood park with biking and walking trails (used by snowmobiles in the winter.) Bike station provides some necessary tools, and bathrooms and showers are available in the warmer months. Its a relaxing place to sit on the swings and watch the sunset or make some music on the outdoor instruments. While youre there, be sure to check out the fun sun dial.

Neat spot overlooking the lake with big porch swings, clean bathrooms, and picnic tables. Also a nice gas firepit for a cozy place to sit on a cooler evening.

Great fishing almost all year. As long as youre looking for panfish, bass, dogfish, or sheephead.

Wonderful view of the Great River and trail punctuated occasionally (constantly) by trains. The best place to start a walk along the Mississippi near La Crosse.

The landing is a great place to pick up the state trail and ride, which is what we did.

This is the cutest little landing, right at the end of Main Street. Great picnic benches, public restrooms, a gas fire pit for free use, and a musical sculpture park. Easy to hop on and off the bike trail. Free parking on site.

My grandson had a wonderful time his first time fishing.

Great facilities for the trail. Be aware of active trains frequently, especially if walking down to fish.

Beautiful place! Took our dogs and walked and took pics. Great area! We lived all the instruments up front and the swings on the porch. Will tell others and will go back.

It was all really good, beautiful scenery and nice bike paths. My only complaint was the weird flavored water in the vending machine..i drank it all but was highly dissapointed with the product
