Skate Daze has the best play area in all of Omaha. Its huge and my kids always have a great time. We generally dont even get to skating. Have alot of games and even some unique fun games such as a zombie game where it sprays water onto a TV to kill zombies.

We had an awesome time today and very sorry to have it close. It was an Omaha insitution that will be missed!

My niece had a birthday party here. She said it was super fun! All the kids seemed to have a blast.

My daughter had her birthday party at Skatedaze a few years ago. We all had a great time and enjoyed skating the day away. Great place well miss it and cherish the memories. ;-)

Great big play place, and let parents in free with their kids. We had lunch and there was a slight problem with the food that they promptly made.

They close on the 31st of this month and it shows in their employees. Worse customer service Ive experience for a childs birthday party ever. I paid for the top package and had to wait forever for everything on the list. It was not busy when we 1st got there so 40 minutes to wait for our party room is ridiculous. Not to mention they forgot to give us things that came in the package.

Staff is all friendly. Great experience for a family out of town on new years eve. Waiting for a tow truck and they let us stay there where it was warm and visited while they cleaned up. Just awesome.

One of my sons favorite places to go. Tot time is remarkably cheap - $6 plus tax. My son can climb around the Playdazium for hours, having a great time. We will really miss this place when it closes at the end of March.

Im giving my honest opinion about SkateDaze here! My granddaughters 5th birthday party was ALMOST DISASTEROUS! The very young, untrained managers were very UNACCOMMODATING! It seemed to me like since they know the place will be closing permanently next weekend they just DONT CARE! And the prejudice that our African American family felt & experienced was ASTONISHING! At the snack bar one person in our party was asked did you pay for that? And when it was mentioned to this SO CALLED manager & then to ANOTHER SO CALLED MANAGER they both LAUGHED AT THE SITUATION & one actually STUCK HIS TONGUE OUT AT HER! Im not sure what part of the game this is but KNOW THIS - IT AINT OVER! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Sigh! Im just too outdone with the entire thing! Not a good look...AT ALL!

I’m very sorry to see this rink is going to close, this is the go-to place for kids AND adults! Usually, you can’t have both. I wish somebody can step in and keep it open. It’s a crying shame, and unexpected. There not be another place in Omaha like it! Their music was the best, their floor was the best, and adults having their own skate night(two nights a week), was great, it was much safer than with kids flying around at the same time. I hope the other rink with take that up... ahem.

Kids have fun. Hate that you have to pay for both the play daze and the skating if you want to do them both. Gets very expensive with a family of 6. Parents free unless you want to skate. Skate rental is 3.99 a person, if you want to use a skate assistant thats an additional almost 6 extra.. the food is decent, and simi reasonable price.

I havent skated in 25 yrs but I did it today. My boys talked me into put on skates and I had a blast from the past. I did fall but I did it. Lol

Definitely not like the skating rinks of my youth....and thats a good thing! First of all, the staff is outstanding. Very accommodating and patient with the kids. And the place is huge! Skating rink, video games, giant play area, lazer tag and rides. Very well done. We will definitely visit again.

My son chose to have his birthday party here. The place had a nasty smell, things felt dirty, the bathrooms were gross and in disrepair. The food was horrible, we had pizza and it was very rubbery. The staff were young but did their best to be accommodating. It wasn’t a great experience.

Skatedaze was one of my favorite childhood places to go and its the place where I met my biological brother for the first time and all I ever had here was good times. Sad to see it go

Havent skated in 8+ years. But once I hot my wheels under me. It was like last week... l encourage anybody thats ever skated to come out on Tuesday nights and listen to some oldies but goodies and Chase each other around the floor. it was a blast!!!

We had my daughters 10 birthday party here, and it worked out perfectly. They have plenty to offer so all ages are entertained and left satisfied.Would have given 5 stars had the staff worked more efficiently and demonstrated more team work.

Some of the staff not so sociable. All food that was tried so so and over priced. Nice skating rink and laser tag is on point. Lets hope NEW OWNERS and REMODELING does wonders!

Im here now. No wonder this dump is closing. I paid 33 bucks for myself and my 4 year old to skate and they want another 5 bucks for him to use a scooter. 18bucks for a 4 year old to skate. Give me a break

Tons of fun. First I was worried itd be a little dangerous. But then out on skating rink went smooth. A super fun place to take the family.

Clean, great place with great customer service, i felt i went back in time as a teen when skating was one of many things to do. Its great for birthday parties. Better than Chuck-e-cheeses!

The restroom hand dryer is old and takes a long time to dry your hands, making it take longer for kids to get back out and play more. There were some games that didnt work. I understand there will be maintenance, but theres a fishing game that still allows you to pay, yet the screen doesnt allow you to see what you need to do. Other than that, kids have fun, and the service was great for my nephews birthday party.

So its a nice facility but the music selection on Friday nights is the worst. Absolutely no variety, I understand its teen and young adult night but there is still more than one genre of music...was also surprised to see so many kids on their phone as you need to be very alert and when youre looking at your phone its usually down and not up to watch for other skaters, so not even sure why thats allowed! Anyways, not sure Ill go back, kind of disappointing.

Very busy! Lot of excited children. They are very careful with the entrance and also had a metal detectors at the front makes a safer environment for the children the 4th birthday party for my granddaughter

My daughter had my grand daughters 3rd birthday party here, the pizza was not good, bathrooms were filthy, staff was very unfriendly and very rude. My grand daughter was put in a ticket booth by a staff member who was extremely rude, he threw goggles at a 3 year old, would not tell her what to do and turned the machine on... I would never reccomend this place for a kids birthday...

SKATE DAZE IS AWESOME. me and my friends have fun there on sundays. This place is so cool and great. Theirs bouncy houses, and things to climb in and stuff, and a roller skating rink! Are you looking for something fun to do?? THEN GO TO SKATE DAZE.

I appreciate that they dont charge non-participating adults who are just there to keep an eye on the kids. During our visits, the employees have always been really good with the kids.

This was my first visit to SkateDaze. I was suprised by the size of the facility. It was larger and offered more than I expected from only seeing the exterior. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food may not win any awards, but it is on par with similar types of family activity locations. My kids had a great experience and want to go back soon

Excellent skating rink. Theres one section for games, some party rooms, and a playground for children. The other half is the actual skating rink and a place to buy food.I brought my own skates, so I cant speak towards the quality of the rental skates, but they appeared to be in good shape. You can even rent scooters (but you cant bring your own scooter).Skate classes are offered for $5, but I went in not really knowing how to skate and did okay. They can provide a wheeled walker if you need something to keep your balance.

I always have a blast when i come here. The music is good, its always clean, and the staff is friendly. I recommend eating beforehand because concessions are a little pricy.

The new age requirement sucks 14 under and adults only. I remember a few years ago coming having fun with my friends now that I return from college looking for fun I can’t have fun on a Saturday night. I don’t approve and I will inform all of my friends how unwelcoming you guys were...terrible service.

I like skate daze it is huge. But its a bit on the pricey side. It would have been more appealing if there is an unlimited wristband that allows you to have your kids or yourself on the rides. We spent so much money it was unbelievable. I got 5 kids I wouldnt pick this as a place to bring all of my family to.

1. Don’t schedule your party for the first time slot. They do not open the doors early enough so you can have all the paperwork completed before your guests arrive. So then you end up paying for time you can’t use.2. Very disorganized staff. The staff apportioned for parties should arrive early enough to receive the Birthday family. Much stress was added they could have easily been avoided.3. It is very unprofessional to allow your staff to take front row parking. Every single place I worked as a teen, you had to park in the back or in the back of the lot. This left the front spots for paying customers.4. Your online planning will not match what you get when you arrive. Ensure you arrive 20min at a minimum to get all the details sorted before your guests arrive.5. The skate counter needs to Rotate wheels and replace almost all the laces.6. Please dedicate an employee to be the parents person to work with once we arrive.This is my second party in 8months. First was as a guest and now as the prime. Experience was the same.Fix these things and you will earn my repeat business.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. My brother and sister in law had my nieces 3rd birthday party here. The staff was extremely rude and not helpful at all. Two of the employees thought it was funny when I asked for a manager to make a complaint. All of the staff from management down should take some lesson on respect.

The people who work there are really nice and helpful but there were fights every single time we come and my friend got hurt trying to leave. And a girl hit another one of my friends and he got mad so started cursing and he got kicked out. Today there were 4 fights.

Great place. We do skate lessons and the price is great. Not all the teachers are super helpful, but my kids are learning still. They are anxious to explore the rest of the fun here.

Wonderful for skating. However if your child wants to ride the 2 rides they have. Its definitely a rip-off. Paid $3 for bumper cars and the total time for the ride was one minute 40 seconds. Can you at least give the kids a minute per dollar. The little rollercoaster was worse...less time same price. Better off going to pizza machine for rides.

Laser tag doesnt get much better than this. a bigger rink would be great. would love more some classic arcade games (and cocktails?) for the parents.the food quality is also lacking. However, this place is great, other wise.

Worst waste of my life trying to come to this places “adult night” definitely dropped the ball on that one. No refund for the service I didn’t even receive. Security guard literally watched someone steal money from us right in front of his face. YOU HAD ONE JOB

Not a bad place. Isnt ran the best and kids kinda do what they want so the place is messy. Not completely on them, parents should control their kids more.

A bery fun place to go skating. I like going to retro night on tuesdays. The staff does tend to be a little cranky and the food is way overpriced (as expected).

Skate rentals are included in admission but to switch to a scooter once youre in costs an extra $5, even for the little guys who cant skate. Also, we were there for 30 minutes before deciding that skating wasnt working for us so we were able to switch to play area wristbands instead of skating, however I wasnt able to get a refund on my adult skate ticket that I didnt even use. Cant even get tap water from the food stand. Either pay $2 for a bottle or use the drinking fountain. Ridiculous.

Arcade, PlayDazium, Skating, Wind machine, LazerDaze, bumper cars, roller coaster are amazing! Our guests enjoyed their time very much.I am thrilled we chose SkateDaze over many places we had been to when picking up a place to arrange our party at.Their food is delicious. The bathrooms were clean.In addition, I would like to emphasize that we visit SkateDaze quite often and we have always been pleased with what the place has to offer. Our son is learning skating there, which is so cool.Keep up the great job running SkateDaze!We are your happy guests!

Went there for date night with boyfriend and got laser tag- they were close to closing when we went to play, said they wouldn’t run anymore games, so we got it on a card because they told us they couldn’t refund, then they run another game for another group after they said they wouldn’t, didn’t care that much so we left and saved it for another day. Well- we go about maybe three or four days later since we have it on a card, it was 6 o’clock. Worker said they were having a school party and to come back at 8 for adult night, we come back at 8- guess what? Last game is running, and they were closing the lazer tag in 3 minutes, meanwhile, we got there the time the WORKER said too- Then they proceed to tell us since the money is on a gift card they couldn’t refund it AT ALL. (after the manager made us put it on the card, so you’re meaning to tell me we could’ve had it refunded before?) They said they’d run another game for us, but at this point I didn’t even want to give my money or time to them, so we left and one of the employees was nice enough to offer us money to buy the card off us, also said it wasn’t the first time the manager was being messed up- also note he avoided talking to me and my boyfriend at all costs while we were speaking to the front people about a refund and kept telling them what to say as there was a “cake incident”, sign in the front said no outside food or drinks allowed? Manager sucked period, don’t waste your money.

This place is a parents worst nightmare. Unattended children, peeing their pants and no adults or employees care. Everything is $$$. The tubes are 3 stories high and are not meant for kids who scare easily or dont like to be alone or have sensory issues. Bathrooms smell... Absolute madhouse. I just changed some 3 year old kids wet pants who isnt even mine or with my party because she was alone and said her mom went home. Total. Disaster. Not directly the fault of ownership/management, but... Still makes for a startling and unpleasant experience.

Had a lot of good memories here. Hate to see it leaving.

I was very very disappointed in the service the staff was extremely rude and made us step aside for 30 minutes just to tell we couldn’t pay in cash I won’t be coming back anytime soon it a waste of time and energy to drive 30 minutes down there don’t do the kids skate free because it is a scam and you still have to pay 4 dollars even if you have rentals so don’t was your time filling out a form and everything is over priced it was 20 dollars for lunch don’t waste your money on something that tastes horrid.

Great, love the wood floor. Rental skates can be a bit beat up, but thats per the nom.
