My first experience in OmahaThe server lied to us: only one scoop of ice cream!? He actually was amazing and the churos were the best. We werent able to finish them hahaNot pictured here are the tacos. They were a simply great!

The food isnt bad, but its nothing to write home about. Seems like its way more focused on the vibe and aesthetic than it is on the food. Also the only server wasnt wearing a mask . Margaritas were good though

We were staying at a nearby hotel and found this place without really thinking about it much... I am glad to say that it was a very pleasant surprise. The service was good and the food was absolutely delicious.

Food was so delicious. Looking forward to returning with my friends. The place has a great feel to it. Food and atmosphere reminds me of Kansas City.

Disappointing. Nice looking place but the food wasnt for me. The $11 house salad is all iceberg lettuce and cucumbers with a teeny bit of cheese and 3 skinny slices of avocado. The barbacoa taco didnt have much flavor and the carnitas taco was so salty I could barely stand it. Since its in the Capitol District Im guessing their goal is to be more of an alcohol than a food establishment.

Very busy night due to Creighton game tonight. Service was not very good (seems like they were not ready for the Creighton fans to want to eat before the game). At one point I had to go to the bar to order my drinks. I waited about 20 minutes for a server before going up there. Our food was excellent though. I had blackened fish tacos which were wonderful. Margaritas were probably some of the best I have ever had since they tasted homemade. Price a little high for Mexican food but assumed it would be due to the location and I am sure lease payment is outrageous. Would definitely eat here again but not before a Creighton game.

Service is always timely even when they have a full house. there was fast, efficient, and courteous service. it has a good atmosphere. ambience is similar to fresnos scene.

We visited this establishment on recommendation from many people that my wife knows, but all things considered will likely not be going back.Nothing bad really, but nothing special either. The inside was too industrial for my wife, though I found it nice. Our server was doing double duty as a bartender (it was late afternoon when there) and we had to wait a little too long for our drinks (as he served four others at the bar that came in after us).The trio appetizer was very good as were the chips, but the much heralded street tacos were not worth driving from Elkhorn.

This Capitol district find is located in a new complex adjacent to the Marriott near the CHI center. It’s a simple eatery and bar with outdoor seating and a chill vibe.I stopped in for an early lunch which happened to be on their taco Tuesday. $2 meat or veggie tacos. I tried the beef brisket, al pastor, and pollo asado tacos and they were tasty. The beef was a little salty for my taste, so the pollo asado was my favorite. I also got a side of rice and beans which were both very good!The owner was friendly and welcoming and it was clear he took pride in his business.For being in the Midwest, this was a pleasantly surprising find for good Mexican food.*I happened to be looking up info about Disney as I was waiting for my food, so when the dishes came out, I had to arrange them to create the Mickey ears.

I had nachos. They are different than what I am used to. I am from the west coast.

With all the hype this place has, we really thought it was going to be better. We ordered wings and they were cold. The tacos were not good. (Tortilla was hard and meat was chewy and overcooked.) The drinks, being the best part, were blah. The waiters literally are standing around on their phones. We’ve been really excited to try this place, especially since they claim to be “authentic Mexican” food. Disappointed

Worst service I’ve ever seen. Had to ask to get waited on. Took our order and never brought out chips or drinks until all the food came out. Took 1.5 hrs to get everything. Please don’t waste your time going there!

There is not a bad item on the menu. This place is fantastic with great service and amazing food. The location makes it a great choice any time in the Capitol district.

I came to this restaurant with some of my friends, one of which has certain food restrictions because of their health. While ordering, they asked for an ingredient to be taken off from their food. The waiter asked them why they couldn’t have it. While it doesn’t seem like a lot, it was a huge invasion of privacy and my friend didn’t feel comfortable. The waiter also looked at our phones and what we were doing on them, especially when he would sneak up behind us, without making his presence obvious.

Authentic food. Great margaritas even if you dont typically like tequila like me. I tried 2, the mint Jamaica and the black agave. I would order them again. Love that a person can sit outside and order from the window. Great atmosphere inside and out and the staff is very friendly.

THE BEST street tacos in town! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food is authentic and insanely delicious, the atmosphere is super cool (very chic and inviting), and the service is impeccable. Honestly, it was the best service that I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The owner waited on us and he was super friendly, funny, and attentive. I really like that this place is locally owned and that the owner takes so much pride in his business. It was obvious that he takes pride in serving authentic Mexican dishes. I thought the prices were decent, but if you’re a penny pincher, then go during happy hour because they have really good happy hour specials. This is my new favorite restaurant in town and I can’t wait to go back!

From terrible service, cold food and servers who stood around and talked while we were waiting for a second drink and hot sauce, I wouldnt suggest this place. There are too many places in Omaha with good servers and tasty, warm food to ever come back to this place.

Came in tonight before the Creighton game. It was pretty busy and we were expecting to wait for our food and drinks, no big deal. Were seated right away however it took 15 minutes for our server to come by with waters and menus, again they were busy, not a problem. After another little while we ordered apps, beers and entrees at the same time cause we knew it was gonna be difficult for our server to come back regularly. After waiting 30 minutes for queso and guac we asked our server if it was ready. He brought them out immediately. Chips were smashed like they were at the bottom of the bag and queso was cold. After waiting for another 30 minutes the place was clearing out and we noticed tables around us getting their food even tho they came after we had ordered our food. The three of us ordered 3 tacos a piece and after flagging down a different server (ours wasn’t available) he said our food wasn’t ready yet. We left some money on the table and walked out without eating. Waited over an hour with minimal contact from our server or any other wait staff. We won’t be back, Omaha has lots of quality restaurants, this isn’t one of them.

Amazing staff. Got us in on a very busy concert night. Quick service. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. I could tell the staff really cared about the venue and wanted it to succeed. They have a genuine team mentality. Loved everything.

Great food and drinks. Love the option of eating/drinking outside. The tacos here reminded me of eating at one of my favorite taco stands in Texas. The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars was because of the chicken taco, it was dry in my opinion. Im not a huge fan white meat for tacos

Great street tacos with lots of variety and selection of proteins. Nachos were delicious and the margarita drinks did not disappoint. The interior space is chic and the service was polite, caring, and attentive. Business owner introduced himself and waited on us-learned business is locally owned. Would recommend with confidence and we will be back

I was looking forward to eating here since learning about the restaurant at a Bugeaters match.Overall pretty disappointing and really poor service.Ordered 3 taco one protein combo.Brought me something completely different so had to remind waiter of my order.After a while return with 3 tacos, with a really small amount of meat on them.After a few I had to ask for the rest of the meal.... beans and rice. Rice was cold but beans good.Asked for the table red and green sauce and waiter actually gave me an empty bottle of green which you can easily see through bottle. Went to an open table and got a full bottle fur myself.Anyway just ok food and poor service isnt what i was looking for.

Mediocre at best

This was our first time eating here. The Burros was huge especially when you can put meat in it for an additional charge. The bowl of corn was really good as well.

Food was good. Everything cost extra, even the usual chips and salsa.

They were a little busy so services wasnt the best, some of the tacos was a little dry. But over all good experience. Friendly/helpful staff with a nice ambiance and good music low enough to hold a decent conversation with your party

We ate here tonight and were blown away when they said they just opened. I had the Mahi Mahi street tacos which were AMAZING! Our whole table ordered Bloody Marias and we absolutely loved them, they werent too spicy. I would definitely come back and recommend this to all my family and friends!

The server was nice but took a long time to get our drinks, appetizers, chips, salsa, and queso. The queso was good but too runny. No plates offered with this so dripping salsa and queso on the table. Small amount of chips served with this. Had plenty left over.I had the 2 taco meal which were good. Very small tacos and rice is extra. Very pretty restaurant, open and bright. Nice bathrooms which I really appreciate. I ordered a second margarita and never got it so told the waiter to forget it. Was charged for 2 on our check. My husband caught the error. Not sure if I would go back.

Delicious food, amazing drinks and great staff! Who needs heavy burritos smothered in refried beans all of the time? Their light & fresh menu is just the kind of Mexican cuisine that I love! As a vegetarian, the Elote, the queso and the Nopales Street Tacos are my favorites! Enjoy!

Okay i understand that your a new business but $18 for watery queso and a burrito is a bit much! You can go to a taco truck and feed 3 people on $18 and have AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD. Oh also who the hell charges for meat on a burrito. Who orders one without meat?????? Why is it extra because as im sitting here eating this while typing this and im not impressed!!

Went to check out this new bar/restaurant last night. The actual place looks cool and is in a good location. However, the music was too loud and the dj only played one type of music. The drinks were ok. We looked at the food menu and were flabbergasted that a single taco was $6 some were $7. This place has potential...turn some lights on, turn the music down a tad, lower the food prices, and get a better dj.

Good food, good price, sexy interior.

Service was very slow. Server never refilled our waters. Sat for a very long time waiting on our checks. We asked for two things on the menu and never brought them to us. All in all horrible experience. Also, ordered a drink with server and ended up going to the bar to order our drinks.

Tacos are bomb.. go on happy hour $2 tacos and $4 margaritas

Service was not great. Didn’t get all the food we ordered. Didn’t get checked on until another server (I’m assuming the manager) came out to help. He ended up taking care of us in the end, which is why I gave two stars instead of one.
