My online order was originally for store pickup but the order was changed to this store - 60 miles away. Manager Tim was extremely helpful in getting my order shipped to me promptly and with no hassle. Great customer service.
Was looking to get fit for clubs. Pro/staff seemed more interested in watching tv and looking at their phones to want to make a sale. Tried to make conversation staff was not interested.
Great selection on men’s clothing, could use more women’s clothing for sure. Also was interested in getting a range finder as a gift, I had a lot of questions between all the options and they didn’t seem to know much at all about any of them.
Moe was very informative and helpful
Great store, excellent people, outstanding service. I recently took advantage of a promo offering free install on the purchase of any new club grips. Big shout out to Tim Kruse for his help and guidance through the process, a pleasure to work with!
Great staff, selection and pricing. They have 3 bays with launch monitors to give you very accurate visual feedback.
If you are under 40 and don’t drive a Lexus, don’t expect any sort of quality service. Questions are often met with blank, uninterested expressions and a quick, general answer to get you out of their way. They only take an interest when you confirm you are going to buy something. Even asking to pay for time on a simulator is scoffed at because of “how busy” they are. Three simulators and two are empty and the response given was “I guess I can put you on this one but make it quick, we are going to be busy soon.” Set up a reservation system then or don’t condescend people for walking in and asking to pay to use the OPEN simulators. The good things are their rewards system and they do offer a credit card with added rewards bonuses and they do have every product under the sun. If you are a self-sufficient golfer and can navigate the store without any questions or need for assistance, then it’s a pretty good shop.
I received an email from Golf Galaxy with a 1 day promo code to receive $15.00 off after spending $75. So I purchased two 3 items and was over the $75.00 and then the system wouldnt accept my promo code (which was valid until 10:00 PM that night Pacific Time (it was 8:00 PM Central). I couldnt call customer service until the AM to fix this. So I ordered, then the next day, I called and after holding for 20 minutes, I got someone on the phone who told me it was too late to fix it because my order was processed ---in other words, You are Screwed!. Thanks Golf Galaxy! I wont be back!
Bought a package of swing lessons for the trainer to work with the pro. Went to the first lesson it was okay.b showed up for the second lesson and my time was taken by somebody else so they asked me to wait 30 minutes. I did . 45 minutes later he still working with somebody else just so happened that it was some young lady in a short skirt and apparently golfgalaxy only applies old fat guys. Didnt help matters any that the general manager who gave me my refund acted like you didnt care
The employees are always helpful and knowledgeable.
Every time I visit Golf Galaxy Omaha I am impressed by the service and commitment to excellence the Golf team provides. They know my needs, player profile, and equipment specifications to make my visit worth my time.Shane, Tim, Jack, Teddy, Mo, and numerous other Staff go out of there way to make me and my daughter Megan happy at every turn. My daughter Megan has special needs and it can be very hard to find a place where she is comfortable and at peace. Golf Galaxy Omaha is that place! The Staff never turn away from her or judge her for being different. They all engage with her and offer smiles, hugs and clapping hands which makes her day. From a Father and Golf addict, thank you Golf Galaxy Omaha for everything you do and keep up the good work.
New to Golf, thought I would go in and see what they had. The Manager of the Store Tim took time out of his day to Teach me about the equipment and help me pick out a new Driver. Could not of asked for a better experience! I will be buying the rest of my clubs from Tim!
Went in to buy a new golf grip and it took me longer to find the grip than it did for them to put it on!! Thank you!!!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER RECEIVED. I came into the store to learn more about my swing and to purchase a new set of clubs which is a pretty hefty expense and investment. From the get go I was treated as if I wasnt a serious customer because I am apart of a younger crowd (Im in my early 20s). They treated me as if I was there to waste their time, but why would I go in and ask for their golf expertise to just waste my time and theirs. I know how valuable a persons time is and Id never waste it. I was pushed aside as if I was a little kid while they tended to other customers while leaving me in the simulator tent hitting golfs without a purpose or any sort of direction. They didnt ask me about my swing, what I wanted to learn or what I was even looking for. After about 15 minutes of being ignored and put on the back burner I left because Im not going to give someone my time if they arent going to respect mine and me as an interested customer. I will never ever step foot inside GOLF GALAXY ever again and I will tell everyone I know to never shop there. I left and took my business to Scheels where the staff there was very friendly, engaged and customer oriented. If you want someone to actually help you with anything golf oriented head over to SCHEELS where they actually care about their customers.
I really like to do all of my golf shopping at this store. The personal take the time to work with you. I really appreciate all that they do.
Today I drove up to Omaha (60 minute drive) to go visit golf galaxy. A few of my friends, that I golf with occasionally, have said nothing but great things to me about everything from selection to customer service. Even gave a 5 star review below. In fact one of my friends even bought almost all of my clubs there for me when I was just starting out last year. Long story short, My expirience was polar opposite. I was there for about 25 minutes (which I noticed is the same amount of time customers spend there based on googles information.) With out getting any help from anyone. Infact 1 person acknowledged that I was even there when I was trying a putter out very briefly. Other than that service reps avoided me at all cost. To the point we would make eye contact and that awkward “caught me” look and they would immediately look somewhere else. The service reps were clearly more interested in talking about college football or practice on the golf simulator (I thought this rep was a customer at first even). Ironically as soon as a middle aged person walked in service reps flocked. The store wasn’t overly busy (see statement above about service reps having plenty of time to bs about college football) Luckily my trip wasn’t a complete waste of time as Scheels customer service again wrote the book. They clearly intended on continue the sport with new players and ensured all my questions were answered and explained everything very clearly. After reading other reviews I noticed this is a common theme. Younger customers are ignored. Hopefully the realize younger players are the future of the sport. At this point I will never waste my time again and have zero intention of returning to this store. I’m completely disappointed. And let my friends (who are middle aged) know their recommendation was a waste of my time and fuel.
A little pricey
I like golf. They sell golf things. My son just started taking lessons here. He loves it. Im learning while hes learning. They could a buffet, that would be awesome. Or a bar. Oh that would the best ever. Im very tired. I am waiting for my brother to take a UA. Please by the best clubs you can, dont by the cheapest ones you can find. It is not worth it.
Trying to buy a new 3 wood, there are 3 employees playing on the simulator. Not 1 was interested in selling a club or helping me as a customer. The guy working the counter sent me back to hit clubs but none of the others could interrupt their game to show me what I wanted. Terrible.
The employees at this golf galaxy are excellent. All are very knowledgeable, and quick to help. When I want time alone to browse, they arent pushy.Ive brought in at least a hundred different clubs that needed work (gripping, reshafting, adding an adapter, etc etc) and they have done excellent work every time. Just a week ago I brought in some wedges that needed to be reshafted. The work they did looks just as good as if they came from the manufacturer directly. When they add adapters on the shafts they do very clean work, and the alignment is perfect.I did a lesson with one of the pros, and it really helped me. I will be doing more in the future.Last, the used club prices are excellent. Very competitively priced.
Bought a brand new driver here for my husband and the shaft broke after just 5 outings. Taylor Made says it is Golf Galaxys responsibility b/c it was the shaft that was faulty but Golf Galaxy wouldnt help us. Lasted less than two months. I will never buy clubs here again.
New Taylor Made clubs.
Went to look at the selection of muscle back irons they had once I reached the iron set i was greeted promptly by a guy named Lee Garza he was incredibly helpful despite my age (early 20s) and took me to test a handful of different sets. However i wasnt ready to buy just yet as they are a $1300 dollar investment and he was very understanding. That was the good part. Now for the bad I thanked Lee and decide i would stock up on some other items while I was there. Balls, tees, gloves ect. All in all i had about 100 dollars worth of items when i was done. I approached the registers when I was done shopping to pay for the items and stood there for about 5 minutes while another employee, not Lee, sat on his phone. After these five minutes passed i decided to put my items back and leave. I apologize to Lee but i will most likely not becoming back to buy those items from your store. And I hope management address the use of cellphones during business hours and especially on the sales floor.
Good prices. Great selection!
The good: I found a set of Mizuno irons a month ago for a great price. The sales person offered no help whatsoever, when I was finally able to find one.The bad: went back looking for a putter a couple weeks ago. I actually found a great Ping putter, again at a great price. I specifically asked and was assured they had the matching cover, so I bought it.After paying and while waiting, the clerk brought his manager or someone back to the store room. After about five minutes, the manager came out to tell me that ghee couldnt find the matching cover, but instead tried to give me one that didnt match. When I said Id prefer to have the one thatI I paid for, he replied in an exasperated tone, I KNOW THAT BUT I CANT FIND IT. When I politely asked for a refund, it wad met with a heavy sigh and slight eye roll.My next stop was Austads. They didnt have the model I was looking for in stock (lefty), but they offered to order it from Ping and call me when it was in. Then I could choose whether I wanted to buy it or not. So I ended up paying another $25 or so for the putter, but couldnt be happier with my decision. In conclusion: four stars for the prices, negative two stars for the customer service. From now on Ill just pay the extra 10-20% or whatever and go to Austads.
Quick service, helpful gave me options and priced well
Had a great experience. went in slicing came out hitting down the middle and bought a new driver.
Way better than Austads!! Excellent Customer Service!!
Paid for a driver that has been backordered for 6 weeks. I did not know about the backorder at the time of purchase. After 2 weeks I called since they told me it would be about a week and then found out about the backorder. When told I had hoped to buy the demo on hand so I had something for this golf season. Was told no and told if I wanted to cancel the order I had to drive back to the store, which is 2 hours, and cancel the order in person. They could care less about customer satisfaction once they get paid. I still dont have a driver.
What an incredible group of people that work here. Very thankful that there is a golf store here in Omaha with the staff like the one at Golf Galaxy, because it keeps people coming back.
Just wanted to let you know about my experience at your Omaha store. The customer service was terrible. I arrived in the parking lot at 3:27pm today. I walked in the store and a gentleman asked How is it going I respond and said good. I then went over to the Taylor Made section. I was at your store to purchase a set of RSi1 irons with the KBS shafts at a standard length. I was measured at another store and was not really satisfied with the sales person there. I was also going to purchase an Areoburner driver today. As I was looking at the Irons and woods, my presence was not acknowledged at all. I then went back to where people were working in the gripping area. Not one even said hello. I then walked around the clothes and back to the Taylor Made section. Still the same. I then say and individual putting bags out around the shoe section. I walked over there and it seemed I was not even there. I did find a pair of Footjoys that I would have also purchaced. I then went back and looked at the irons and woods again and then decided to leave. On my way out the same person that greeted me when I entered said Thanks. I was in the store around 25 minutes and was not even talked to other the person at the front door. I just wanted to let you know that I was there to purchase a set of irons, a driver and even found a pair of shoes. But due the customer service or lack of, I will not go back and will be telling all my golfing buddies about my experience and encourage them to go elsewhere as well.
Back at ya !!!!
Lots of choices here, and people to help you find the right product to improve your game.
Awesome customer service the second I walked in!
