My family used to camp here when I was a kid during the early 90s to 2000s, before it became a private resort. So many great memories and fun activities for all.Earlier this year my husband and I decided to purchase one of the lots with an existing cabin tiny home. It was meant to be our vacation spot, but we ended up selling our primary home and are living out here permanently. We just love it so much! Its kind of a bummer that so many trees have been removed to make room for fancy covered RV lots, but were lucky enough to have our cabin situated under a beautiful maple tree.Sounds like many people are having trouble trying to reach the elusive Tammy. We had the best luck going through outside real estate agents, and buying a lot that was previously owned. We personally havent had any issues with the staff here, and they are generally pretty responsive. Neighbors have been welcoming and respectful too.
Nature friendly lots of different types of wild life.
We had a fairly quick drive through, it seemed well run, clean and a pretty area
My wife and decided we wanted more info on potentially purchasing at Lost Lake. I called the number on their website ( Tammy ) and left my phone number. We never got a call back. After reading the reviews I see that this is a big problem - customer service, no return calls, no apologies for being late, etc. Anyway, since we didnt hear from anyone we just thought we would drive down and see the place. We arrived about 11:50 am and made a mental note that the paper on the window entrance office was close between noon and 1pm. I walked in and introduced myself and said my wife and I would like to take tour and see what sites are for sale. The lady behind the desk didnt bother to say hi or even introduce herself. She simply said, Do you have an appointment? I said no. She said, Well, you need to call the number and ask for an appointment. I told her that I did call the number but no one called me back. She didnt care, didnt bat an eye, didnt say Im sorry about that, thats not good, how else can I help you. NOTHING like that all. She just rudely said, You have to have an appointment! I was shocked since there isnt anything on their website that says appointments are necessary for a tour. So, I was a little dumbfounded and said, Can we just take a walk around to see the place? She flatly said, No. I shrugged my shoulders and said, OK.Both my wife and I decided right then and there that place was removed from our list! I dont mind security - in fact security is super important. What I cant stand is rude customer service. It wouldhwould been so easy for the rude women to just be nice and sympathetic - even understanding, but nope! She just didnt care - maybe it was too close to lunch time. Anyway, she will be the reason we wont be checking out Lost Lake.
Beautiful area that is secluded. Very low lighting but great security and offers a mixture of RV and homes. The winding trail offers multiple slow down signs as there are pedestrians and children around but this RV park leans 100% towards the idea of a resort rather than a trailer park. The roads, signs, etc are well maintained and the entrance gate staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If youre looking for an out of the way place to park or rent, Im sure that its probably a little pricey but well worth it.
Not one to leave reviews. But you have an extremely rude front office lady. My parents will never be back.
Beautiful... A slice of heaven
Phenomenal customer service, security, and amenities. Lost Lake resort permanent residents are very sweet and make the place feel like home! The resort is spotless and very well groomed. The lake is Instagram worthy and makes you feel like you are in a far away forest; but, you just minutes from the cities amenities. Highly recommend visiting all seasons of the year!
Lake is awesome for kayaking and paddleboarding.
This place is our home. We loved it here for amost 3 years. I want to comment on the lake. We swim in it every year. People have posted no swimming. NOT TRUE!! It is beautiful and clean with a diving/ sunning doc for kids and adults. If you want a tour, you need to call the office at LLRVR and make an appointment. We have a new crew at the front office that is friendly and helpful! Hope to see you soon.
Wow impressive. This was my first impression of this place. But having made an attempt to set up there I soon discovered that this place is very disorganized. There are two sets of individuals and neither seem to communicate with each other. Had filled out all the paperwork, was assured that everything was approved and even had a spot picked out. This was all done 30 days prior to our arrival. Show up only to find my spot I had reserved was taken by someone else. Front office didnt know I was even supposed to be arriving. Ended up in a spot that wasnt even prepared for an RV, couldnt get my rig level. If this place could get organized it might be worth it. As far as I am concerned I wont be trying this place again.
If I could provide 0 stars, you bet your bottom dollar I sure would.
JBLM military base next door will entertain you with practice mortar fire at all times of day and night. Enjoy the sound of Freedom!!!. Lots are selling like hotcakes.
Horrible customer service. Called sales and rentals four times and no return call. On the fifth attempt to contact the sales and rentals department a woman answered and she was extremely rude over the phone. I tried to get information on the campground and she kept cutting me off to ask me questions about our RV. After several attempts to get information, her constant interruptions were too much to deal with and I ended the call. After the short interaction with her I dont think this would be a relaxing or enjoyable campground. I fear that the $500 refundable deposit would not be returned. The person on the phone is the type to come up with an excuse to not return the deposit. I would be very leery staying at this location.
Really nice resort. Love their tiny houses. Beautiful lake and pool. Places to buy and rent. You can live in a park model or bring your RV. You own the land. HOA is currently $275 a month.
Business associates (one is my wife) rented a unit on Spruce Lane to have available for overnight stays when business required it, so just a nice beautiful spot to hang vs. the hotel situation. It is a one year lease starting a few days ago. The area is beautiful, we have lived in Seattle for over 30 years and I have 40 acres in the Mt. Baker foothillls with similar park model on my property, so I think this is pretty darn nice considering the location. Several warnings now about his park and area that are not so nice, I mean really bad stuff quite frankly. Let me number them bad to worse:1. Military base: bombs, serious automatic gunfire and massive explosions can happen starting at sundown until after midnight. Ok, that is weird and like .. wow.2. A train goes past this area at all times 7x24..I like trains, but it is there and it is loud and it is train.3. The worst part: the permanent residents there hate renters and hate anybody they see that is not part of their tribe. This is serious and escalates quickly and by surprise. My story is long and scary, and therefore not capable of being told in this review so I will net it down next:The quick take on we hate you neighbors. They are all old people there, I mean old and scary. I am over 64, so when I say old I am talking over 80. That is no problem but they seem to be afraid of anybody they do not recognize or consider ok. I tried to take a walk in the AM early and one elderly woman was nice enough to say hi but started asking very invasive questions with an increasingly nasty tone, like do I live here, where and who are you and why are you taking a picture and we are concerned with you types ... well I finally walked away and I was not convinced it was not related to ethnicity as well. Special Surprise: This paranoid old lady suddenly showed up in our yard and driveway with her really pre-disposed angry blind husband and they waited 10 minutes in our driveway for me to finally come out as I was loading the car to head back to Seattle... and they went verbally nuts on me. They accused me of threatening them when I asked them to leave and walk on and they said they are calling the cops on us. It was out of this world. Other neighbors did similar to another resident of the unit because she had a dog and this went and on. It is absolutely insane stuff? I have never experienced such an unfriendly, fearful and unwelcoming crowd in my life. As a world traveler I was shocked to the core and told my wife I will never return nor does she plan on staying. I believe her plan is terminate the lease and never go back..ever. Beautiful place..horrible people. Stay OUT and AWAY. I believe these scary people lived in lot 10 or 12 on Spruce Lane, but not sure. The website does not provide any email, so I cannot report this behavior but beware if you ever plan on visiting, renting or buying here..it is a nasty place to hang.
Staff seemed friendly enough. As an RV Transporter I was only there to pickup a customer trade in, some of the sites looked a little challenging for bigger 5th wheels, however it looked very clean, and nice.
This is a beautiful place tucked away in a wooded forest. So many lots are not used. The lots that are for sale are pricey, some lots have more privacy than others. For us the lots are a bit on the pricey side. We saw plenty of furbabies NOT on leashes during our tour of the place. Everyone here is pretty friendly. We were a little late for our appointment and we were able to ride along with the next appointment. We felt a bit rushed and didnt feel like even if we would have been on time the 30 minutes allocated would not have been enough time to actually look at lots and really get a feel. The monthly rental is a bit even if you get all the amenities except for electric. The only downfall of the rental sites is if someone wants to buy one that is occupied you will have to move.
Very beautiful, if I had an r.v. I would park it here hands down..
Family has a lot there so always nice to just get away from the hustle and bustle.
What an amazing place! We have been here for a few months and my family and I couldnt be happier. The staff is always friendly and helpful, a pleasure to work with. The sales department is wonderful and is always available to answer any questions we have. The place is clean and always in such great condition. My kids love the pool and we spend almost every day there enjoying the amenities provided. The gym is perfect for my husband it has all the weights and machines he uses.To top it off all of the residents are beautiful people. The community, the resort grounds and the amenities are more than we could ask for in a RV resort. Highly recommended!
Wonderful place to enjoy peace and quiet only 5 minutes to Lacey
I have lived here for almost 3 years now and absolutely love this place. It makes every other place you visit with an RV look like a trailer park. Quiet, secure, with friendly neighbors.
We are full-time RVers. We stay in RV resorts all over the United States. So, we are accustomed to rules and security. With that said let me just say, these folks are nuts here. You have to pay for $25 to get a gate card to be able to get into the resort and this is non-refundable. They DO NOT give out the gate code to ANYONE. So, if you dont have your card with you for whatever reason, your are SOL. If you have friends or family visit you they must stop at the office and sign in, that is if they come in between 8 and 5. If you have visitors that come in after this time, no sign in. This makes no sense to me! Your visitors cannot get in unless you come up to the gate to let them in and then on top of that they only sign in between 8-5. Silly! We had been in our rented site from an owner for approximately 2 weeks. The RV next to us was unoccupied during this time. They came back to their RV today. We have small dogs. The dogs were not used to seeing anyone at this RV. So they were barking at the folks as they were going into their RV. The lady immediately comes over and says to us, Are they going to bark every time we come around, because if they do this is not going to work. My husband being the nice person that he is explained to her that the dogs werent used to anyone being there and once they got used to them there wouldnt be a problem. I spoke up and told her she should give us an opportunity. She said, We live here. I said we do too. She said We own and you rent. Seriously??? This woman and her husband had just arrived. She didnt even introduce herself or anything! What kind of person does this. We are very conscious dog owners. We pick up after them and keep their barking to a minimum. Dogs do bark. Our dogs are not terrible barkers and for Gods sake lady could you have least given us 24 hours! I would NEVER suggest this park to anyone...stay away.
Lost Lake RV Resort is one of Washingtons most beautiful locations. Its so peaceful here and I just love all the mature fir trees. From the back of the resort, you can see Mt. Rainier in all its glory. The staff are so friendly and the workers keep this place very clean. Everyone always waves, or says hi, so its very welcoming. Im looking forward to a gorgeous summer.
Looks nice enough from the gate. Very few sites have sun here. The problem with some of these RV clubs here in Washington is that the unofficial gatekeeper is a listing agent. This one literally was going to completely blow off our appointment with no call, until I spoke with the actual gatekeeper. Then she shows up forty-five minutes late, without any excuse, asking Do you still want to look around? Granted, the day before we had an appointment and I called twenty minutes ahead of time to ask to reschedule for an hour later. She said no, and implied she would then not show me around the property at all. So I was expecting, from her behavior, that Tammy would not be on time. But forty-five minutes late, with no apology, from someone who works on commissions is unacceptable. Luckily she is not the only listing agent, so there are other options.I dont know how the board and the property owners allow someone so irresponsible and immature to represent their property. The reasonable thing to do, to attract quality co-owners, would be to list all the available properties on the website, with the contact information of each independent agent.Unlike some of the other reviewers, I understand the importance of rules and the annoyance of barking small dogs near your home. I will delete this review if I purchase here and find the property itself to redeem the agents reprehensible behavior. If your looking to purchase an RV plot, I suggest Pleasant Forest. Paula is an ex-Marine, down to earth and will tell it to you straight, and shes never more than ten minutes late.
I called the Sales office 3 times and left three messages and never got a call back. I wanted to show my wife the park as we will not be back in the area until next year.
Gated private RV park very well maintained park. Love this park! People are friendly and kind here.
Perfect GEM of an RV, park, BEAUTIFUL, good low cost affordable way to live in the Northwest without breaking the bank. Good for renters and tiny houses.
My father owns a lot here, I absolutely love it. Very quiet.
Pretty sweet spot. we detail a couple peoples rvs there...
This is a beautiful place. To be staying at.
Its very relaxed atmosphere.
Sean, Ray, and the rest of the maintenance crew have been very helpful when we are in need of assistance.
The place is amazing, beautiful and peaceful.Friendly staff.
If you like rules this is your place
I would not recommend this place for SO many reasons. We paid our rent & deposit to someone no one else knew (Bob) as a renter you get NO notification about the electric bill. Can only pay with money order or check. There was NO heat in the gym entire Winter. Complaints all the time on the website. (petty little complaints about weights not being stacked correctly etc) Grumpy retired people with nothing to do except complain. Texted landlord over 5 times one month to get balance of electric - no response. RUDE front desk girl. Hard time getting visitors in. This place was a complete nightmare. Once in the middle of Winter while my boyfriend was deployed, I was denied a propane refill due to a $3.00 balance on the books...which again, no one notified me of. The communication absolutely sucks there. I was literally chased down by the HOV president Ron Kearns and berated in my front yard because he wasnt aware I lived there. TOTAL power trip. A lot of retired peeps needing a sense of importance and nit pick everything. The idea of it is great but the people/staff running it ruined it.
Lovely place to stay...
Great, people were nice, helpful, patient & polite, they showed item & helped load it, they were very pleasant & I enjoyed meeting them.
Stayed here several months. Had issues with getting propane filled due to schedule conflicts. Offered two solutions and was denied both. Inquired about other spots and got the cold shoulder of your rig wont fit; the markers are not correct; Im not going to sit here and argue with you then was told i complain a lot and not do my part. The lady at the front desk could stand a replacement and the manager is not user friendly. Too much drama in there. Beautiful place if you dont mind shaded areas. Wont be staying there again or recommending it.
Woods. Friendly staff & neighbors. Clean. Safe. Just wish pool & hot tub open year round.
Loved it here Years ago in the summer time.... family friendly
Mobile home park where you get no privacy. Dont recommend that.
