Club seemed to be upstanding 10 years ago or so but has turned into a cesspool of personal interest and greed. They did care about growing the sport but now try outs cost money for most and it is a basically a fundraiser for the teams that were already set prior to try outs. They form the remaining teams on the spot by age only with no regards to skill or no use of age waivers to make a better team. I feel sorry for kids that make this their only option. Fees have skyrocketed in recent years to over 800.00 over their nearest competition only for most of your sons and daughters to practice in a run down gym nestled between a tejano bar and the drug dealers at the neighborhood bodega. The only people that are happy are the elite few favorites or the board members kids.
