Lots of easy trails. Good for walking, running and cycling. Dogs friendly! The trails are connected to a couple different parks so there are lots of options. This makes it easy to social distance while youre enjoying nature. Its mostly under tree cover so the trails stay pretty cool.

This is a perfect Trail for a beginner Trail Runner. Its a pretty wide Trail, except for a very small variety of spots. Well-groomed. Safe.

Excellent Shady place to walk/hike with various terrain. Dog friendly (leashed), and apparently horse-friendly! It looks like they are expanding the parking. Unfortunately it means trees had to come down...But maybe the Nature Center will be used more.

Took my toddler here for an afternoon this springtime. I didn’t know before arriving they had a whole area specifically for kids to play at. It looks like they are building a tree fort with a slide which looks like it will be lots of fun when it opens! The trails for biking on seemed to be really nice. They had paths for all levels. We were just doing a short walk with a stroller so we took a small loop. We walked it twice and that was perfect for my daughter. It was relaxing and peaceful out there. Will be back!

Beautiful area to take a hike. Great educational program. Very friendly staff. Had a kids birthday party there. They were awesome with the kids. I find the electronic bell that is ringing at certain times throughout the forest pretty artificial. Makes me feel like in a sci-fi world.

This is a beautiful place. There is a long trail that IS WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE! Yay! Unfortunately, there are those who bring their dogs and allow them to poop, and not pick it up! We have had to clean dog poop off my chairs wheels, because the poop got covered with dirt and you couldnt tell it was poop. Or, there are those who collect the poop in the doggy poop bags graciously supplied by the center, then the dog owners leave the bags of dog poop in different locations, like on top of a bench. Who do they think will pick it up for them - the Poop Fairy? Please....if you take your dog to this wonderful nature center, CLEAN UP YOUR DOG POOP and throw it away in a trash can.

This is a really beautiful park. The trail is short, but it is part of a much longer trail system. There are interesting markers and things to see. They play ground is great. I cant wait to try the beaver house. You can bring your dog and most everyone seems to clean up after them.

The nature center itself is fairly standard, but with some fun animals. The real reason to come is their special events which are always fantastic. We particularly enjoy their Halloween event, but we have never been disappointed by anything hosted here. Put a visit on your October calendar for certain.

I usually come here primarily for the trails, but there is a play structure, a building, and an overlook to the river as well. Harris offers educational events on a variety of subjects, aimed at different ages from small children through adults. They also have a kayak launch on the Red Cedar, which is a fantastic trip (though there are some portages, at least one of which, as of last year, involved climbing across a series of downed trees in the middle of the river and dragging your kayak over them as well).
