Kids are music is such a great environment. I love the positivity and uplifting feeling. I love watching the kids not only learn in-depth music skills but create lasting friendships and gain self confidence. I feel that students here are valued and they feel that when they are here. Students come from all over, have different backgrounds, personalities/talents and feel like they can have a place here. I love that they can learn skills here to last them the rest of their lives.
The Kids are Music and Dance program is absolutely the BEST thing to happen to my children! Not only have my girls learned to love and appreciate music, but they have been given the opportunity to stretch themselves and become the best performers they can be! They have learned so much about acting, dancing, and singing… so they can be a triple threat! Not only have they learned great musical skills, but they have had so many wonderful opportunities to perform at different venues and for different events! These opportunities lead up to gained confidence and a passion for sharing their musical talents! The instructors at the studio are the best around! They have extensive musical knowledge, and will challenge and stretch their students, yet they love each one as their own! My girls always told me they could tell how much their teachers loved them and wanted them to succeed! As a parent…this meant so much to me! If you decide to join their groups… Be prepared for some fabulous concerts where you can really see your child shine! I am truly indebted to them for all they have done for my children!
Our family has been involved with Kids Are Music for over 15 years. Our three children have received classes and training through every musical group Kids Are Music and Dance has offered - our youngest son even began his KAM experience in a mom and tot Kindermusic class.Kids Are Music has been a family to us of incredible teachers/directors who truly care about our children. They have made numerous friends and have had opportunities to perform in a variety of venues, settings, and even cultures through performance tour opportunities.I highly recommend this studio, and all of the employees we have ever worked with, not just for vocal, dance, and performance training, but for mental, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual growth and development. Good music inspires greater depth and breadth in all areas of our lives and has not only helped our children become better individuals but has influenced our family as a whole.Lori and Scott Standing
Very professional and wonderful teachers. This is where all kids should learn to be musically trained. My kids have been in this program since they were 3 years old and will continue until graduation
My daughter was involved with KAM for several years and loved it. This is not just about singing, dancing and acting. Kids learn self esteem, inter-personal skills, self-control, responsibility, commitment to something greater than self, perseverance...the list goes on. Thanks to the owners and teachers for all they pour into the children year after year. We love and appreciate you. Carla
Im new to Utah and am a mommy of 3 amazing kids. I have been looking for activities for my 2 teens and toddler to participate in and I came upon the Kids are Music and Dance website and at first glance was very interested until I go through the photos on their website and quickly realized that there isnt any diversity meaning there isnt any black or latino kids in any of the photos on the site, which lead me to believe that Kids are Music and Dance are not inclusive to families of diverse communities, this as you can imagine is very saddening for me. I really thought this would be a great place for my kids to enjoy....
Closed, never will go there, I service Apria Health . Dedicated route.
Fantastic experience! I was involved during my high school years and loved every minute of it. They gave me many opportunities to travel and encouraged everyone. Wonderful owners who work very hard.
Lots of favoritism shown for directors family We have to pay a ton of money yet those kids are the stars. They get opportunities to speak and sing solos although there are other kids of equal talent who are not given a chance they have auditions to give the appearance of fairness and then select the same kids over and over we pay too much to have 5 of 100 kids get preference. In addition they charge for every performance, which I think is odd. Shouldnt the family members that are featured pay more of those fees?
I LOVED my time with Kids are Music and Dance! I was in Choral Edition (their High School age group) and made so many life time friends and memories I will cherish forever. I learned so much about performing and this program helped me to become more confident. The directors and instructors at KAMAD truly care for their students and want them to succeed. I would recommend them to everyone!
I will be forever grateful for my time in Kids Are Music and Choral Edition. Growing up I learned so much from being in their groups. I grew the most from performing solos and interacting with other students. It really helped me with my self confidence and helped instill in me a love for music that I still have to this day. Mark & Janette are amazing! They really care about each and every student. They have an amazing program. My family and I recently moved to St. George and have been here 10 months and still have not found a place for my daughter Ashlyn where she can go and learn how to sing and dance. Ashlyn loved being in Kids Are Music and I miss watching her perform in Tiny Tones.
I was involved in Kids Are Music and Choral Edition for over 11 years. Mark and Janette Bischoff are incredible people who care about their students and who laid the foundation for my love of music and performing. Because of what I learned from them, I went on to be leads in several musicals, I was in madrigals all three years of high school and today I sing in an a cappella group that has performed in several venues throughout the United States. While I was in KAM and Choral Edition, I always felt like I had fair opportunities to sing solos and and receive speaking parts. I never once felt like there was any sort of favoritism. They gave me and everyone a fair shot. They built my confidence as performer. They helped me learn proper vocal technique. They pushed me to be better. And not only this, they made me feel welcome and loved. I felt like I was a part of something special. I will forever cherish my time in KAM and Choral Edition and I highly recommend this organization.
Kamad is great if you want to meet more lds kids your age but if youre not lds or if your in the LGBTQ community its not the best, kids arent so accepting. I was there for two years and had fun and made some friends, but when I came out I lost a lot, and some were rude. Thank you for the opportunity to sing and share my talent. I loved the opportunity, but the environment could do with some improvements. If this company and its staff was more open and accepting and let the students know that everyone is accepted I dont think I would have been bullied.
Their website states no long hair on boys. Really? Am looking for a boys hip hop class but glad to know this beforehand.
This is an amazing studio! Its great to see the students grow and buildevelop confidence. The teachers here are amazing!!!
