Always a great place for the kids to burn off energy. We recently celebrated my youngest 2nd birthday (and despite the price always being on the steep side), we had a great time. They changed the regular token cards from one set amount (such as 120 tokens), and now offer of a length of time instead (such as unlimited play for 90 minutes, with option to pause time twice). This option is great if you have little ones that like to buy games for everyone else.Otherwise, the lunch bar was decent, and remain stocked the whole time, the game room was clean, and only one game was not functioning properly from what I could tell.Good times.
What a Wonderful experience! We came for Our First Sensory Sunday...What a great time we had. Super Clean, helpful friendly Staff! Manager Catherine had the Best Customer Service and was So Kind & Friendly! Thanks For Making it a Great Family Fun Day Sunday!
My daughter loves Chuck E. Cheese! We have a lot of fun there. Sometimes they are under staffed. However, they do there best and try to make it pleasant for everyone. Sometimes Chuck E. Cheese doesnt come out for the kids to do his dance. Other than that, its a fun time to have with family and friends.
Went here with my kids because we always have a good time with a decent meal. Well without thinking I took a bite of my Italian sandwich and after I happened to look down and find a black hair in my food. Thinking it could of been mine tried to pick it off only to find out it was cooked into the cheese. Only reason they are getting two stars is because the manager gave me a full refund of our dinner. Will not be going back to that establiment again.
Ordered pizza here for the first time, I’ll never order again . The pizza was chewy like card board and no sauce on the pizzas or barely any cheese . Gross! Probably need to have a reminder course on how to make pizza ! Waste of money .
Place is cool to spend time with your kid and family at an affordable cost. Recommend buying an hour of game time seeing as it’s the best value and you really can play every game and as much as you would like. Some games are broken, old, or just need a tune up, but I didn’t notice that with the “fun” games my son and I liked to play. The wife even finds enjoyment playing the coin machines so that a real big PLUS +.
As far as making it a bit more adult friendly theyve achieved that. Parents can buy beer here and theres slightly more food options. They took away the ball pit and obstacle gyms though which takes away from the kids to actually run and play
Great experience ! Mostly all machines were actives so that was a plus . Be back with the fam again soon!!
Busy, messy, but the kids loved it. Seating was plentiful on a Friday night and their pizza was better than I remember.
Great place to have your kids birthday party not too expensive lots of fun
If you’re looking for an affordable place that allows your kid to run free, play games, earn prizes and stay safe from outside harm and weather-Chuck E Cheese is a definite“Go To“ place. They have a large amount of games for varying ages (2yrs-10yrs; Adults can indulge too) There is pizza, salad, kid friendly drinks and adult ones too!
There were several games that were malfunctioning. Either the tickets didnt come out or the game didnt work. Customer service could have been better. Not that they were rude, it just looked like they hated being there, a little enthusiasm goes a long way. Besides that I still made sure that my family had a good time despite all the other issues.
We love this place! :)
Buy the one hour, and get a beer while the kiddos run amok. This location is pretty clean, and Chuck E dances with the youngsters on the hour.
Thanks to management at this location, you ladies are doing great!
A l ot of machines were out of tickets
Love this place! Looked clean, and fery fun for everyone, I spent hours playing here with my husban and nephew!
The pizza is really good and the games are for all ages
Is it just me or did this place use to have higher quality games and jungle gym? I know that since I havent been there since I was a small child I was bound to figure out its not as fun as I remember but they used to have this giant machine that was a racing game where youd move around and now theres a bunch of empty space where it used to be. It was kind of dirty and extremely loud. My sister had a blast though. Im giving 3 stars because of how little games they had there compared to others Ive been that were the same size.
Its still the same safe and fun environment as Ive remembered but I give it a 4 star rating due to the fact that we had to ask 3 separate ppl to clean an area for our family sit in.
It would be nice to change out games been there long time
I remember my first time at a C.E.C place. Its now replaced with a Car max but Im reminded every time I pass by. Giant building for C.E.C two stories tall and the biggest in door jungle gym Ive seen to date a cousin of mine used to be the guy who dressed as Chuckie for the longest. Got off track the place is awesome if you have hyper kids the energy will be gone assuming your kids dont find the soda fountains.
Great location. Seems renovated and no more tokens. You pay for the time which was great. Took my 2 grandchildren and got 45 minutes of play for $30. When the time runs out, card stops working, the end. They were happy and I was happy with the cleanliness and security measures. Didnt eat today, but last time I did I noticed a vast improvement in the pizza and they have a good salad bar.
Quite enjoyable with toddlers, they had a great time and it was well priced
If i could give negative stars, I absolutely would. Lacks customer service! Pizza always takes way too long to come out and theres always something going on with their soda fountain. Always!! They have the audacity to charge up the a** for this stuff and lack the dencency to treat customers with proper care and respect.
Our kids love it here but what kid does not like Chuck e cheeses? Pizza is always same as you can expect.
Fun place for families. The food is surprisingly good. They have a good amount if games. My biggest complaint us that sometimes chucke is late or doesnt come our at all for his hourly dance.
Menu is greatly improved. Chuck E Cheese could be alot more enthusiastic about their role.
Very fun, great prizes, good food
My kids love going there
It was a totally awesome family experience.. Two thumbs up
Here for grandson BIRTHDAY and I love the fact that children can play, and adults can have a drink.
Havent been here in years and came in totally by random. Got the personal pizza, bread sticks, and drink. Tons of good food, what a value. I stuffed my face! Having a very attractive attendant to greet me when I came in didnt hurt either - she was tall and blonde :-)
Clean, fun, and not too crowded. This Chuck E. Cheeses is one of the best Ive been to since most of them are dirty or have broken machines. They keep it running smoothly here.
We had a great time for my daughters first birthday party we got to play unlimited games for 45 minutes and got to keep all the tickets just as if we are played with tokens it was pretty awesome and they stayed open an hour late for us which I cant thank them enough gladly give you 5 Stars wish I could give more
My son loves coming to chucky cheese I just wish all of the games worked at all times he wanted to ride the one where you take a picture with chucky but it wasnt working. I do also like that they extended the salad bar with more variety. We went early in the morning and the gentleman was nice enough to give my son an extra toy for his tickets.
Havent been in probably 20 years since my sisters husband worked there while they were in high school! Took my 3 year old for the first time and he had a blast!
Cathy is the best !!! Always super helpful (:
Kids have fun and its affordable
Awesome service!
It was great the kids love it specially during the week not crowded.
The people who work here are so rude. The machines for the cards to play games are broken and they still let you pay before they tell you the machine is broken. Pretty shady.
Poorly managed. Skeleton crew staff, long waits for EVERYTHING, employees seem stressed and unhappy. I do like that you can either buy play time or points though as my kids are usually out of points in the first 10 minutes!!
Came with the family and grandkids. Salad bar was empty. Waited 35 minutes for more after asking multiple times. Waited 40 minutes for boneless wings. Asked to speak to manager. Jacklyn the manager gave a blank look on her face when confronted about the service. I asked do you even care and her response was No. Hopefully not all Chucky Cheeses are like this one.
Safe gun for the kids...and basketball hoops for me
Way over priced. Bathrooms dirty, Pizza barely had sauce or cheese. Place was dead at dinner time.
I love this Chuck E. Cheese because we can always get to the games. And the pizza is very good also. The staff is always polite and patient.
Very friendly staff. A place for kids to play games to win tickets for prizes. They offer party packages with pizza. If you go in the morning and during the week its not very busy.
As an adult were obviously not here for the food. It has gotten better than what I remember, but it is still overpriced for the quality and quantity. The addition of unlimited games in a paid amount of time is great. Instead of dropping tokens into every machine, the kids each have a card with a set number of time to play. The card can be paused twice. Also neat is that Mr. Chuck E. Cheese is not that creepy animatronic dancing mouse of old. He was played by an employee in costume.Overall, its not the Chuck E. Cheese of my youth, and thats a good thing.
Great place for the kids. Just as you remember it from when you were a kid. Went in on a Saturday just to let my son play some games and run out his energy. Only complaint was it seemed a bit understaffed as there was quite a bit of trash on tables, cups on scattered games. It was late afternoon so maybe staff comes on as it gets towards dinner time. But outside of that, which wasn’t a big deal, it’s a great place for the kids.
First and foremost the staff was super friendly and helpful, reason Im giving 3 stars is there were a lot of games broken or out of order, only 1 ticket counter available rest were out of order. Honestly this place seems kinda outdated. hate to say it.
My daughter had fun
Almost a quarter of the games were running out of tickets and nobody was supervising this issue
Ive gone there before with one of my friends. Its a lot of fun. I played arcade games and had pizza there. It was nice.
Only there for a Bday party. It is what it is...
Lots of space for kids to run around and enjoy. Under staffed at times. Food is ok but expensive. Games are good with ticket payouts and seldom do you see out of order on games here. We go here at least twice a month. Very family friendly.
Pizzas great but the prizes suck
3 year old had a great time. We spent 3 hours here. Had the all you can eat lunch buffet great price lots of choices..
Every single thing we planned - and paid - for was neglected. Well, they did have the tables reserved, so theres that.We had to ask for the birthday balloons. The token cards werent ready. The pizza wasnt ready on time. The cake wasnt thawed out. They didnt have a Barbie cake available for the Barbie-themed party.Basically, every single thing that Chuck-E-Cheese promised was a flop. That takes effort, to screw up 100% of a process they repeat multiple times daily. Not worth the time, money, aggravation, incompetence, or lack of customer service.Dont book a party here, and convince your friends not to book a party here. They have no idea what theyre doing and will only bring misery and distress to your family
They have a time option now, where your kid(s) can play games for 90 minutes or more, unlimited. They seem to love it, the ticket opportunity is great if you can keep them focused on ticket giving games.
Was there for my great nieces birthday party. Sandwiches were great & so was the So be water.
Love to take the grandkids
Everyone was very helpful and made the experience incredible! Thank you Tina and the Oceanside team! my daughter and guests enjoyed her 3rd birthday celebration!
I only drove past but last time I went to a chick E. Cheese 15 years ago it was lit
Fun for small kids! You are over priced! And please? Change your Menu?
My little girl had a blast ️
Fun place for kids.
Clean friendley my kidd had fun
Staff is very nice, there customer service is outstanding. Pizza gets in an out of the kitchen in the quicks. Although the staff is mostly from a range of 16-19 years old they are very mature & professional. The overall restaurant is mostly clean and a safe environment for kids. Would hands down recommend this place compared to the Vista store.
Awesomeness, best place to take your little ones
One small personal pizza took over 45 minutes and when I asked about it the manager was very rude and dismissive. Other people before me received refunds since they waited so long. Would not recommend getting food here.
It was late but we had fun for an hour the kids love it
It would be good if there were no kid there
The salad is terrible and its $9 you spend so much money there and at the end the toys that theyre buying dont even cost $0. 50 they need to upgrade their salad its one of the worst salads Ive ever ate and it doesnt have no portion of good items
Worst location Ive been to. Only 1 ticket machine working & when I went to the front counter to inquire about the machines, the girl was walking away from the food bar ( on their side of the counter ) & had a mouthful of food & said yah, theyre all broken ......I guess it doesnt much matter to them. We will not come back. The Vista & Escondido locations are far superior to the Oceanside location.
We went there today for my daughter’s birthday. We go there on every single birthday for each of our three kids plus several play dates throughout the year. I will have to rethink that. Today was very disappointing. We got there at 12:25 and was excited we made it there in time for Chuck E’s 12:30 performance. Only problem was, he didn’t come out. We waited several minutes before having to track down the manager and ask. She made it happen but he was about 15 minutes late. My husband and I got the buffet. They had three dinky pizzas out with some lettuce. That’s it. For nearly $9 per person, there needs to be more there. My daughter was excited when I won her 100 tickets on Whack-A-Mole. She said “Yay, now I can get ten tootsie rolls”. We were shocked to see that all the prize values went up. And pretty drastically. Our favorite prize (long tootsie rolls) went from ten tickets each to SIXTY tickets each! Such a bummer! Only one of the five ticket machines was working. I asked the young girl behind the counter for help twice with those but she completely ignored me. I had to track down the manager. Our time there was far more frustrating than fun. When you spend that much money trying to show your kids a good time and you run into multiple issues, it really stinks. The manager seemed really huffy with the young girl too which wasn’t fun to witness. We will likely try the Vista location or Dave and Busters instead.
We enjoyed our visit, the only bummer is we went for lunch buffet and there was hardly anything out when we arrived and nothing more was placed out to eat while we were there and eating lunch Normally I would t mind but that was part of why we went there was to do the lunch buffet.
They updated from coins to play pass card. Play pass last for 2 hours. It’s better than coins because you have 2 hours to collect tickets.
Good for kids!
Great for kids, friendly staff
My kids love it.
Getting way too expensive for some cheesy games and ok pizza. Highway robbery lol
Horriable experience cant even talk to anyone to figure out if there open for 4th of July they constantly just have a message machine do all the work
Kids love this place bring your credit card with you
Great games taste pizza tons of fun
Most the times we go, the majority of games are out of order :/ not cool
Didnt care for the pizza, really enjoyed their Ciabatta chicken sandwich. Noticed that the salad bar is always attended to and kept neat. For a place crawling with kids, it is surprisingly very clean and mess free. The girls working the floor are detailed oriented and do their jobs well. Thumbs up to Paige for making my daughters experience a great one. This one only got 4 stars and not 5 only because I feel it is a bit pricey and not a great value for the average family.
I cannot get with the new card system; having to swipe the card to play games is stressful for my kid. My daughter forgets the amount she has. I also dislike paying for amounts of playtime as opposed to just buying coins. Our Chuck E Cheese visits are over. Saddened as I have loved this place for yrs, but moving on.
I like the new option to pay for unlimited game play for specified times. I have two kids and now I know they will run out of credits at the same time.
Have been here for 2 hours with family. I think there is only 3 employees. its very boring. have not seen chuck E. and there has been no show the entire time. they might has well just shut this place down. waste of my time and money. sad.
This place is still a nice place to bring little kids and do parties.
Had a great time.
Good place for kids play and enjoy the games there.
Games are on point, Food is Hella Terrible...
