They dont allow bmx, probably a pretty good reason to turn people away from here.

Heads up you need a helmet, knee pads AND elbow pads or they wont let you in.They probably dont realize this but this makes skateboarding extremely less accessible. Who can afford all this gear? Skateboarding should be for everyone not just little white kids and their wealthy parents.

I havent been to this skatepark, I was looking for somewhere that allows Rollerskating. But, from the reviews Ive read here it isnt allowed at this skatepark- is this true? Where in South Jersey can we go Rollerskating outdoors? Everything I find is up north, an hour away . I decided to rate it based on the pictures and the other reviews. It looks really nice. Too bad it isnt more accommodating to others that can benefit.

Very clean. Staff is very friendly. Big layout. My son has learned a lot here.

Great layout and flow. All the transition is beginner level but still fun and big enough to build speed in the bowl. In the winter months there are very few people.

I parked in a lot next to it because its public parking. Skate park was packed with kids so I assume its fun for them. Looks like there are adults working there to keep an eye on things but honestly I dont know anything about this place

This is an awesome Skatepark. My 12 year old son was new to the skatepark scene as well as skateboarding. Due to that, he was a little intimidated thinking he may not “fit in” with the other kids at the park. While there were other kids who were WAY more experienced then he was, he wasn’t made to feel like he wasn’t welcome or accepted. In reality, the other skaters were very accepting and were more then willing to give him pointers. Long story short, my son is now “dropping in” on the big pool and has a great time when he goes there. This skatepark is a testament to the community of Ocean City as well as the Community Leaders who made it happen. Thanks to all and a special thanks to Willy who connects with the children so well.

It blows that you have to wear pads. Usually some parks just require helmets and thats fine but full pads is so annoying. Its sucks because the park would actually be fun too.

I showed up with my roller skates and got bullied by 11 year olds. The fact that roller skates (old style not blades) are not allowed is ridiculous. They’re as much of a liability as skateboards. The roller skating community is very large around the world, however this park is limiting the possibility for the sport to expand. It’s very frustrating. I have to drive hours around nj to find a decent park... you can’t skate daily if there’s nowhere to go.

Good place for young skaters, some equipment available.

Full pads is the only bummer but everyone was cool and they had loaner pads if you forget.

Excellent place for kids of all ages, from the smallest skater to the oldest. Everyone is very respectful and willing to help out the new kids. My son and i come to the park every chance we get year round. Ocean City did a wonderful job creating a safe environment for our kids.

Its ridiculous how other action sports cant have anywhere to ride. Constantly told to go to the skateparks and do what we do, yet they only limit the parks to skaters only. Something needs to be fixed to allow all types of riders to have fun, learn, and meet new people.

Fun the ledge is cool the cool fun box has a ledge a bank thing a bigger ledge on both sides then the quarter pipe is prettyBig and thats good all the stuff there is not broken and shred able and they have 2 bowls a big on and a small one they are both very fun to skate in but when the sun goes down its closed so dont go to late

I. Hate. This. Park. They dont allow bikes! There are barely any skate parks in south jersey! And the few that exist here dont allow bikes! Bmx is a sport too! We should at least be allowed to use the concrete section! I always wear helmets and pads and I know Im riding at my own risk! This is such bullshit! I rode my bike for 5 miles to get there and when I got there, the cops were out front and said I couldnt go in! Riding out front of a park is no fun! The cops then yelled at me for gapping off of curbs! I hope they let us ride or demolish this park!

Great group of kids AND some adults frequent the park. There is someone on duty to enforce the required helmet and pads.

I try to go every Saturday. I love all the ramps but I wish there could be times just for kids.

Pisses me off that you make a skate park strictly for skateboards and not scooters or bikes. Its not fair to us that dont have the skills to ride a skateboard that also want to ride on a park. Its not fun just cruising around on a bike. There should be a separate bike park ONLY FOR BIKES. Put one in, this is bullshit.
