We came to this store twice going by the hours posted. Neither time was this place open. Two little boys very disappointed. 2020 coupon book, store hours on door or looking up online hrs are not the same. Maybe a little update would be nice

This is a cute little shop with loads of different types of shells. They have everything from shells to real alligator heads. Even though this place is relatively small they have all of the shells that you would find in a professional place. They have great deals there if you are not planning to spend a good amount of money.

Unusual shells, lots to see and purchase, reasonably priced items, friendly helpful proprietor. Will visit again every trip to Ocean City.

This place has truly made my experience at peak city New Jersey amazing. The unique merchandise sold is beautiful and I have bought so much of it for my house. They have everything you could imagine and the store is always clean and organized. I came here nearly every single day on my vacation as it truly made me happy. There is not one complaint I can think of about this store. It is a family owned business with a beautiful backstory. The owners are so nice and are always striving to make sure that the customers are happy and enjoy the store. They certainly make the store better and are always smiling. I can not stress enough how much I recommend this store. You wont regret coming!!

I had no idea there were so many seashells! This place has very exotic shells from all over the world. Very interesting! You can also get inexpensive souvenirs there as well!

If this place is going to be closed for the season than they should advertise as such. My wife and I went to OCNJ with our daughter over Labor Day weekend and we drove past this place on Saturday and Sunday because their hours posted online said they were open. At least post a sign large enough for vehicles passing by.. We parked our car and walked towards the building both days hoping the lights would be on and they would be open but both times the place looked abandoned and the lights were off.. Total waste of our time.

Interesting finds if you are passing by, but dont base youre day around it! You can scan the store in 15 minutes

Its a fun thing to do on a rainy day. There is a lot to see even though it is not a large place. It is actually a store set up like a museum. You can buy almost everything they have. There are even some neat photo ops.

Cute little local shop, museum had a great selection of shells, alligators, fish from all over (my oldest son loved it), and you can buy a variety of shells and items made of shells. The shark jaw was the best! Thanks!

Don’t go there!! My son and I were looking around, and he saw coloring pages ( that were printed off of google) and he wanted one so I grabbed one and put it in the bag. When we were finished looking around we were getting ready to go out the front door, the gentleman/ owner stopped me and asked if I put one of the papers in my bag? I did cuz I thought they were free for kids, NO they were a dollar, so I was going to put it back, and since I folded it he made me pay for a 1.00 printed coloring page off of google! He was soo rude!! If u go there make sure ur kids don’t touch anything u will make u pay!!!! Even if it’s a dollar!

This place is the definition of a perfect beach store. They have everything ranging from hermit crabs to awesome decor for the house. Its not only for parents but also a great place for the kids to look around. The owener is so unbelievably kind and is so warming. My friend and I have come every single day this week, the real reason we wake up is to come here ... Right when you walk in you are greated with the warmest smiles. Highly recommended!! The beautiful backstory of the family own store makes this place even better than it truly already is. If you come you will probably so my friend and I since were here every single day ahah!!

Should not be called a museum---nearly everything is for sale, and most of it cheap baskets of shells--really just a store for tourists. There are some glass cases of shells from around the world, but many are illegible and hard to read. Also pretty run down with dirty carpeting. Good concept but not executed well, perhaps it was better in its earlier days.

Pricey, but worthwhile. Kids love this store. Be sure to have a cash budget planned or discussed before entering. There is even tempting stuff for us adults.

NOT a museum. Just a sad, dusty gift shop with a lot of dead ocean creatures for sale in pathetic trinkets that were once beautiful thriving living animals. Very misleading and disappointing. Advertises falsely to draw people in. Gross.

It was a small place, but on a rainy day it gave me and my family something fun to do. They also have lots of sea shells and other goodies for sale. Dont forget to go out the back door and take a picture with the huge shark jaws!
