Poor salesmanship. I am a military veteran and fairly well-versed in the arena of the outdoors. After 2 years away from my last bow hunt and now needing a new setup, I began researching the best bow for my needs. Deciding the Diamond Infinity Edge would be it, I was interested in seeing one. Im visiting Ocala from out of town so I googled sporting/outdoor outfitters. Jerrys had such great reviews I chose to head on down and start my search. When I walked in I was very impressed. Huge selection AND an indoor range?! My excitement was quickly snuffed out when I requested a draw length measurement and the ability to test out a comfortable draw weight. I was told we dont do that until someone purchases a bow. At first I thought the guy was kidding. But nope. Even after explaining Id formerly owned a Matthews Mission and was leaning toward the Diamond Infinity he didnt offer to so much as walk me over to the enormous selection of products available in the store.Im sure when I go to the Toyota dealership for my next Tacoma the response wont be we dont do test drives until you buy it.Maybe the guy was having a bad day. Maybe the outdated old belief of women shouldnt hunt is big in Ocala. Or maybe business is so good it wasnt important to engage any further. In any case, it was prettydamn disappointing given so many positive ratings this business has. I wont be back. I needed other supplies for rifle hunting but Bass Pro will be getting that business. I hope others have a better experience.Update - bought my Diamond Infinity Edge Pro last week. Not from Jerrys.

Bought my 12 year old daughter a bow and lessons here. They sized her arrows for her along with getting her sight perfect. Her instructor Mr. Buster was amazing and very knowledgeable. She learned alot and had fun doing it. Which to me is what counts. Highly recommend. You wont be disappointed. My only regret was not starting her sooner! Sam says thanks again Mr. Buster.

I try to support locally owned businesses and it so happens that we have one of the best archery pro shops in Florida right here in Ocala. Ive purchased bows, releases, etc. at Jerrys and the pricing is competitive. I recently had my bow re-strung at Jerrys and the service was excellent. One of the best things about Jerrys is that the staff is informative and patient with folks new to the sport. I got into archery later in life and the staff have always been really helpful and patient with my questions, and they dont try to over-sell you. Great place!

Went to Jerrys on my birthday to have them help us out with some bows we already had. Come to find out the two I had were useless except for a few accessories they put on my husbands bow. However they helped my husband get his bow all set up and ready. I was so impressed with the knowledge of the employees that we ended up putting a bow on lay away for me. Before I left they helped me find the accessories I needed to get started. They even when a step farther to set the bow up to fit my draw length and pull weight. I even spent about an hour shooting. I cant wait to go back.

What a great place this is. My daughter was interested in shooting arrows and these guys really knew their stuff. They helped her picking out a bow that fit her budget, had her test in their great indoor range and she left very happy. Great staff, great quality equipment and a happy customer. What more can you want?

Dennis wallace is a savage! Knows his product,easy going, always gives you the best opinion possible on the market! And he hunts himself so what he tells you is from years of experience in the woods as well as from the shop... long store short go there and you will like the experience!

They have alot of good quality military stuff and its real military stuff and there prices are good. rather then most online military stores

I purchased 2 bows from Jerrys Indoor Archery for my daughter and me for Christmas. We are both beginners and had no idea what we needed or what we should purchase. During this process I dealt with 3 people at Jerrys - Shayne the owner, Dennis an employee and Buster an instructor. I could not been more pleased with how I was treated and the service I received. From the beginning I was made to feel very comfortable. Shayne and Dennis took their time to not only educated me on equipment and options but did so in a manner that didnt pressure me. I feel their recommendations werent profit driven but truly honest recommendation to what I was trying to accomplish. Afterwards I scheduled a lesson for my daughter with Buster. I was extremely impressed with his approach and style of teaching my dautgher (age 11). He immediately made her comfortable and relaxed. He made the experience very positive. The shop has good people... good atmosphere... I wouldnt hesitate to recommend these folks to anyone.

Not all bow shops are created equally! I live 70 miles away from Jerrys and there are bow shops closer but I drive the extra miles, because they do it right. I am picky, and want my setup exactly to my liking, you give them the specifics and they set it up perfectly.

Overpriced. $36 to put fletchings on my arrows. Never called to let me know my arrows were done. Got my arrows and on a few of them the fletchings werent completely glued on.

Nice little archery range with a nice selection of bows and arrows.
