Small clean and comfortable for families

The whole lake is available for swimming, but, it cold be cleaner

Crystal Lake is a beautiful little lake in the quaint town of Oakland where I resided for a few years. The beach club pass is acceptable although there isnt much of a beach or a club, really. Even then, there isnt much to do except swim and I suppose its a good purchase if you dont have a house on the lake so you can access and swim in the lake, albeit, there are better locations to swim at around NJ.

Great place to bring the children for a swim and a place to play dont forget your sun screen.

Very enjoyable time. Saw a band play there on a Friday night. It was a lot of fun. Could bring my own lawn chairs, food and drinks. Snack Bar just has chips, candy, ice cream, drinks and plain pizza reheated in a toaster oven. Let is order food from a local Pizza place. They gave us the menu. All in all will definitely return and will bring more food with me.

Saw a band and it was a perfect atmosphere

Wish I had taken a photo this morning during yoga class. Gorgeous clean beach, view of the Ramapo Ridge, perfect blue sky. And this afternoon they are hosting 16 craft vendors 12 to 4. All table fees will be donated to the THAT I Animal Shelter.

You need to be a resident plus pay like $400 for a membership. Unbelievable

Terrible experience. I agree with previous reviews that the setting is good however the manager at the registration desk is inexcusably rude. What made it worse is that she described herself as not only the manager but a board member of the club. It is possible that her behavior is driven by a racist/discriminatory element and I suggest that the organization look into this.

Its really nice place for everyone in the family. You can bring your own seats or there are benches.

Access is for town residents - something they might have mentioned on their web site. One time access is $80 per person. The beach is tiny.
