A must see if you are visiting Oakland. The staff is very accommodating and gives you every opportunity to get hands on with Nellie. The exhibit also includes a history of the different locations in the Town that have served as home to Chabot Space and Science.

Best telescope in the city. Thought it was all hype but everything they say is true - you can see really far.

I came here with my wife on a Friday night to see the stars. They have a great program where Friday nights you can look through all their telescopes for free. Highly recommend it.
