The range is excellent and the trails are good for a free facility. My husband finds the targets and positionings real fine. Always donate $5 to help out

Relaxing course nestled in among the redwood trees. Multiple targets at multiple distances. Good for beginners to advanced. Can stand under cover from rain for a few targets. Can use all kinds of bows/arrows. Great member clubhouse!!

This place is fantastic and not only has a great 28 target field course but it also has a great 14 target hill course. Not to mention a very well-kept archery range with plenty of target. A plus or minus depending on what type person you are, the Joel reception is very limited here but I love it.

Nice archery course nestled away in the woods, but its still easy to get to (compared to other courses). A little hard to find- just head down the hill to the right of the parking lot. Enjoy the range and hiking course, and dont forget to leave a tip.

Classic field archery range, very friendly members. Appears to be open to the public (donations gratefully accepted for maintenance) and is very well maintained. Paths and signage are clear as well.

Came here with a group for a birthday (mine lol) and it was so much fun. Instructors/helpers were clearly super passionate about archery (and safety, of course) but also made sure everyone was having fun.If you do the intro/beginners class - you start shooting at targets that are super close and the better you do, the farther back you get to move your target. They also will put up balloons on the targets which is super fun/satisfying when you pop all of yours with the 3-4 arrows you get for each volley.

This is a lovely range with both a flat practice area and extensive field courses. One thing that really impressed me is that on any given day you can see a wide variety of archery styles here. Anything from standard compound and recurve bows to european longbows, Japanese Yumi bows, and more. A great mix of archers and archery styles. Very refreshing.

Its a beautiful setting and well taken care of. The archers that shoot there are both friendly and helpful! Its too bad I live so far away or I would join.

Best place in the area for archery. Why just hike when you can shoot arrows and hike? And dont forget to donate if you enjoyed your time! Targets arent cheap

Park at the Chabot Science Center and walk downhill a short distance to the club house and practice range. Open to the public daylight hours but maintained by the all volunteer Redwood Bowmen club. No equipment rentals, but classes are available via online sign up through the Regional Park district. There are also two 14 target field archery courses starting on the hill next to the parking garage.

I dig this place, but because its easy to reach it can be a bit crowded. Also if youre female the regulars there are always eager to give you pointers. Guys, sorry, youre on your own!
