This beautifully preserved old Florida home is a monument to the history of both South Florida in general and the city of Oakland Park specifically, a living piece of history saved for posterity and enjoyment of all its citizens. The Museum used to be open one day a month to the public, but is currently inactive while awaiting repair and preservation efforts. However, visitors can stroll the grounds a bit and sit in the gazebo during daylight hours (as long as they behave themselves, of course).
Love it it was something to do on the weekends
