Ive made 3 different requests for call backs, the employees say the owner needs to do it and he never does. I guess hes busy enough he doesnt need any more customers. We actually resorted to buying a fish online because we cant find it locally. Nice shop, but wont be going back.

Ive read plenty great reviews on this place but my experience was totally the opposite. Came in with the hopes of getting some things for my 50 gal. But had no offer of help from the associate who didnt even hear us come in because her ear pods were taking up the majority of attention, I even told a small joke to maybe try to initiate conversation to no avail. Well after walking aimlessly around the store we decided to leave, I mean i was really disappointed because I didnt find the experience I read about through the reviews.. I gave 2 stars because although they had a huge selection, most of the life plants were browning and there wasnt anybody in position this day to accommodate any request of point me in a good direction as far as my aquarium..

I called first about an hour before closing to see if AK had any Betta fish. Shea was very detailed with their stock and when I showed up he was just as friendly in person. He knows his fish info and it was like aquarium 101. We have several large to medium fish tanks and we’ll be buying supplies from this store. Reasonably priced and the polite customer service will have me going back. Thank you

Went to the store not knowing what I really wanted. Shea was outstanding. He walked me through all the selections of fish I could make. I finally selected the fish my granddaughter would like. Shea should be considered for a management position. He is awesome.

Worst customer service of a lifetime.Went in excited to stock a new 125... wound up being told my daughter would have to urinate in the lot. Nobody greeted, when I asked for help with Fisk were ignored. Terrible terrible experience. Severely disappointed.

I give this place three stars only because the owner dropped the price a little bit when I bought every bloodfin tetra in the tank. Also because the staff is extremely knowledgeable and honest when it comes to your aquarium. But the only problem I had was a lot of their tanks had ich. Which I understand we are in the middle of a cold front so the fish they buy to stock up there tanks probably came with ich. I worked in a petstore in New York and the winter was the worst time to buy fish from us because they always had ich. It’s understandable. But honestly they are not doing anything about it. They’re not treating the tanks or writing sick tank on the glass or even letting you know “this is a sick tank”. I was ready to buy a black German ram from them for 30$ or 40$ and the tank was infested with ich no treatment in the water. When I work at my pet store I was treating tanks that I noticed had ich and ones that the customers noticed had ich. And I would tell them hey this tank is sick and take there contact info and call them up the second the tank was cured. They are little bit expensive on some fish not all. They have some nice looking plants as well. But hey I got my bloodfins on sale and all 15 of them are super heathy.

Always a pleasure to shop here. All the guys are so knowledgeable and such an enormous selection of coral but I mostly just come in for the live plants.

The store has a good selection of saltwater fish, corals, aquatic plants, and some freshwater fish, but it was the staff I was really impressed by. Theyre all very friendly and were super helpful in answering my questions to help me start my first ever freshwater aquarium.

The guy that helped me(Harry)was very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of good advice and even though I asked 100 questions did not get short with me or try to hurry me along, Even though I was only spending about $10. I highly recommend this place. Also they have a very wide selection.

Staff and store were very good. I actually was recommended another aquarium store and saw there sign. I stopped in and was impressed, went to the other store and came back.The staff were excited to share and educate. The selection of true aquarium plants was best I’ve seen. Lots of freshwater and salt.. I’m not into salt but fresh and invertebrates... they had a good selection.I’m glad I stopped in and will definitely come back here again.I purchased 58 dollars worth of Pygmy Anubis. Some Nanna petites and a crazy cool spider wood. They had exceptional spider wood.It’s a good find.

Newer store to Fort Lauderdale. They have a nice selection of salt and fresh water fish and coral. My biggest requirement for a good fish store is a friendly face and a smile which I get every time I walk in there. Can’t say the same for other stores in the area. This place has good prices and great sales. I recommended following their social media cause they post some of their sales and promotions good

This is a nice shop, its outside my normal traveling range. Alex, the owner really enjoys interacting with his customers, you could tell that from your visit. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Some nice large displays, both fresh and saltwater. Nice selection of both fresh and saltwater including freshwater plants and saltwater corals. Some very nice coral specimens, in fact. On the freshwater side, good selection of African cichlids, and also some very large South American cichlids such as some beautiful big gold severum as well as some long fin giant oscars. Definitely worth a visit if this shop is in your area, or even if you happen to be passing through town.

Pricey for what they offer. Has gone down hill lately and the owner seems a bit defensive about reviews. Posted on yelp as well and he accused me of being a former employee.. either he’s paranoid or treats them bad enough that they’d seek revenge. Maybe covering something up? Either way I’ll shop elsewhere.

Went to look at cichlids. They had a small selection and zero size selection. They were all huge! Then I looked closer and they all had ick!

This so called aquarium store is a joke. The tanks are extremely dirty and filled with ick. I bought one fish (didn’t know it was sick) and it killed my whole tank. I actually feel sorry for those animals. Prices are high as well. You can go to walmart or petco to buy the same item for at least half the price.

Fishes were dying or dead in the Saltwater tanks and Freshwater Tanks. Prices were kind of steep, Im all for small business supporting but its a big price difference for certain fish compared to bigger retailers.

Great selection and customer service.

Went there several times. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpfull. He has educated me as well as guiding me through the set up of my first saltwater tank. Im very anxious, nervous, and excited all in one. But he is definitely reassuring and patient with me.
