We like coming here but its pricey for what it is. The trails are nice and stroller/ wagon friendly. The splash pad is ok. Wish the little rubber stoppers in the water fall play area for the littler kids worked better. They still play with them but it would be nice if it was up kept better. The gift shop is small. The kids will have a great time guaranteed I just feel the value of the attractions dont reflect the cost to get in.
Worth the money . Great staff. Quick normal priced food. All stations of water park worked. So much going on in the water park at once . .It was awesome !! Check em out on line for other attractions there like the fence maze . Yup . Itd no joke . Adult child was 70 bucks with food . The accept military discount . Now...if you think the price is an issue consider looking at the website and seeing that you can easily spend 3 active hours there. I felt it was well well welly well worth the money. Love you all.
Mates, this place exceeded my expectations. The staff was great, the facility was clean and they really had a lot more dinos then I was expecting. The little mate loved it and they also have places to eat, a small water play place and a playground for the kiddos, they even have a dino maze!!! Would highly recommend taking a visit if youre in the area :)
Took a trip here for some halloween fun for the young kiddos. And they loved it. My 5 year old said it was the best day ever. I think it was the light up baton and bracelets he got at the end. But really cute. Not much to do for older kids but the younger ones sure did love it. At the end there were some games and fun stuff to play as well as smores and hot chocolate. All very reasonably priced. Go check it out, you wont regret it!!
Not friendly to children with special needs. I brought my son who has Autism for a day trip to enjoy an outdoor activity on a beautiful day. I was given multiple conflicting pieces of information which adversely affected my son. He did so well wearing a mask and handling all the rules, but this place had to go above and beyond to make our visit horrible. I had to go back to the car to get extra socks for him after the splash pad (they sold us the wrong size pair of water shoes - which they refused to exchange or take back - so he wore his socks) so he could have dry socks to wear on the playscape. He was so upset as we left (he didn’t understand why we had to go to the car and had trouble putting his shoes on with no socks due to sensory issues). I tried talking to an employee but between my son crying and the plexiglass she couldn’t hear me. So I walked out the exit to get to our car and tried to talk to another employee who informed me that we had officially exited the park and therefore had to go wait at the end of the line (which was not short) to get back in the park. I explained my son’s special needs and the situation and she couldn’t care less. A lovely woman at the front of the line to enter the park chimed in and asked “why won’t you just let them go to the front of the line when she gets back from her car?” The employee wouldn’t budge. I went to the car, my son in hysterics and me carrying him for his safety. By the way, my amazing son wore his mask during this entire episode and I wish I could have thanked the nice lady who spoke up for us during all the chaos. The park’s employees could take a lesson from her. They need to be better trained in working with people with disabilities and could also use some severe sensitivity training. We adhered to all of the Covid safety guidelines despite my son’s disability and the employees showed zero empathy when he needed a little support. Clearly their training standards are as old as the dinosaurs in their park.
This place is a diamond in the rough. We all had blast walking the paths and learning dino facts. They have splash pad and giant playground structure. Wish it was closer to my house. The only annoying thing is why you cant get a stamp and walk back to the car for anything.Make sure to carry everything you need in.You need water shoes for splash pad and shocks for T rex climbing structure.
I would do 5 ️ but maybe I am been too generous with 4.... my almost 3 years old have a really good time .. the splash water area, the playground and the part he enjoyed more was the dinosaurs trail, he really have a good time . The down thing it was waiting almost 1 hr for a hot dod and burgers .. ( just for the two of us ) and a 2 years old shouldn’t pay full price .. is a bit irracional, So maybe 3.5 ️ should be fair .
We met up with some extended family to explore this place right in our backyard. What a fun time! There were two main trails, dinosaurs the kids could touch, plaques with educational information, and plenty of fun things like a jungle gym, large playscape and an awesome splash pad just right for cooling off in. Changing rooms, two locations for restrooms, two areas to picnic. Even the grown ups played in the water with the heat from the summer sun. Ice cream shop and mini golf just outside
Great place for kids, however, I feel there should be a discounted rate for when part of the trails are closed for their halloween display that they are working on as well as the foot court and splash area being closed. This should not count as peak season. Also, the netted play area is for kids between 2 and 10 which I fully understand why there are age limits. But when your 2 year old is having a meltdown stuck at the top afraid to come down they will NOT let you in to just to get them out. Even when asking the attendant What happens if she wont come down? She shrugged her shoulders and said she has to come out on her own. Luckily her mother and I were able to coach her out but what kind of place lets 2 year olds into an area where their parent/guardian is not allowed?! I wasnt going in to play, I was going in, grabbing her, and getting out. Its too bad. Im a local and you have lost my business for life.
The Dinosaur Place at Natures Art Village is actually a pretty good family oriented experience, During the Halloween season the have a spooky...I repeat Spooky not scary so its suitable for children of all ages but more suited for 12 and under with nice spooky trails with ghosts and goblins and dragons and dinosaurs and wizards and witches to name some props you come across on the trail, towards the end of the trail is a open area where they put on multiple live shows which are actually pretty good even enough to entertain the adults such as fire eaters and magic tricks, and fire players performing acrobatics which everyone loved! They even had a number of inflatable activities centers like a bouncing Pumpkin, giant Sliders and corn maze, as well with a blow up axe throwing range with actual blowup axes with velcro for the kids to play with, I only gave it 3 stars due to the food limitations they offered which was strictly a Lobster truck, with limited food choices plus the prices were very high for such tiny portions, children werent happy with the choices, beyond that they had a cotton candy vendor, no option for hot chocolate or coffee or anything else for that matter... so my recommendation is eat prior to visiting and bring your own hot drinks to keep you warm when the sun fully sets. I would recommend strictly Adults with no children to seek another event instead as well being its tailored for small children.
Went in the fall when the splash pad and snack shack were closed and they were set up for the pumpkin path. The playground is good and the dino displays are cool. Lots of space for kids to run and explore. Pumpkin event was not worth the ticket price.
I would give it less stars if my son didnt absolutely love it. No water in the large open restrooms to wash hands and nothing to clean hands with, expect one bottle at the cash register. No TP in the ladies room. Prepare to bring basic modern items in with you if you are used to them!
Halloween trail was outstanding. Evan was extremely accommodating to all of our needs and conducted himself as a superior customer service representative. See you again soon!
This place was so much fun and it is beautiful. It was our first outing since covid and it was perfect.
This place was so much fun. The trails were about 1.5 miles of walking. My kids loved stopping to view the dinasours while we walked the trails. A great way to get outside and get some exercise! My son loved the erupting volcano, while my daughters favorite part was the maze. The maze took us about 10 minutes to do. We got lost the first time but if you walk up the stairs near the entrance you can get a good overview of the maze to help you out. I love that they had a splash pad there, as well. The park area is pretty good as well. Lots of fun playground equipment for younger and older kids. My only problem was when we went to eat lunch. At 1pm they only had one person working the Montys Munchies food area. She was backed up with 7 orders ahead of us and about 5 behind our order. It took 45 minutes for us to get our food. They didnt send her any help until about a half hour of waiting.
This is a fun place to bring the kids and let them run free on an adventure through time. The splash pad is wonderful on a hot summer day, but be forewarned you must bring foot wear that can get wet. You are not allowed to be in the splash pad barefoot. Conversely if you want to go into the play pen you must have socks! They have water shoes and socks for sale on sight but a little preparedness can you a few bucks. Enjoy the park!
It was a good safe event for the kids. Tickets misleading as it doesnt clarify that cider, cocoa etc are not included but cost extra - cash only. For the price it should be inclusive.
Really nice experience. My son enjoyed it very much. Only a handful of people, so we practically had the whole park to ourselves.
They have long trails (and long tails). Cool climbing park for the kids.Make sure your kids are comfy when they get back to the car, because they will be exhausted.
Good for family and a great tourist spot. Its educational yet fun now of the easiest ways to teach your children
An amazing experience with my family. We enjoyed the hike and maze. The many dinosaurs were incredible
Well kept park. Very large playground and splash pad. Kids had a great time. But as a parent I wish the dinosaurs were more consistently labeled and the prices were more affordable. Children and adult rates shouldn’t be the same. If anything change the adults less cause I’m not climbing up that playscape.
2nd trip down to the Gem shop. I love the crystals. I get strands to make chakra bracelets.
Excellent park, fantastic for kids and families. My nephews son was extremely happy with the park and couldnt stop talking about. A really great place to visit.
Amazing experience. The shopping. The mini golf just cool. All safety measures. Well done
My first trip bringing my girls (8 and 10) was a lot of fun. There was plenty to do to keep us occupied for about 5 hours (including lunch). The climbing tower was a big hit. Be aware, you need footwear in the splash pad. It was pricey (just over $100 for my family of 4), but it was worthwhile. The cafe in the main gift shop (Cobalt Cafe) was great too. The food was good quality and not overly expensive. The girls kids meals for $7 included entree, drink, applesauce, a cookie, and a toy. Very impressive overall.
Let me start by saying over all this is a nice park. A lot of grounds and it looked well kept. As for the dinosaurs, nice, nothing special. My 2 year old thought they were the coolest thing ever, and thats the reason we went. I would recommend this place if youre kids are under 10, older then that they might think its kinda lame. For the adults its a nice hike in the woods. Now heres the reason I give this place 3 stars and not 5.... over priced, In my opinion. Heres my argument...I took my family of 4, on Monday September 21st. Its a weekday, the end of September and they are still charging peak season prices. If youre UNDER 2 years old youre free, 2 and OVER its full price. The reason I highlighted under/over is when my wife looked online she misread it and we thought that 2 and under was free. If i knew i was going to pay full price for my 2 year old i probably would of passed on this place. I honestly walked in not knowing the price so that is completely my fault, but i didnt expect my 2 year old to be charged $23 the same amount as an adult. So we paid $69, my son was free (under 2). Maybe I would of been able to swallow this pill if the food court was open, or if the icecream parlor was open, or if a trail wasnt closed for a Halloween makeover, they have a splash pad that was closed and I get that since its the end of September. But if all these things are closed maybe dont charge FULL PRICE? At the very least charge a lesser amount for kids? I personally feel like I paid $69 to go on a hike to look at, not in the best shape old dinosaurs. My plan was to buy my daughter a stuffed animal or tshirt to remember the day like I usually do when we visit places like this. But after feeling like I was kinda ripped off I wasnt about to go spend more money on over priced gift shop toys. (Im not knocking them on over priced gift shop toys, all these places do that) but maybe easy up on the admission and make up for it in the gift shop.
Great place to take kiddos. A lot of walking trails so easy to be socially distanced. A few playgrounds be prepared with your own hand sanitizer. The T rex tower was cool, they have it staffed with hamd sanitizer available to use before and after use. They monitor the amount of kids allowed and masks must be worn. It was so fun even for me because I love dinosaursEducational too
Over priced! It cost us 80$ (even with a discount) It took 1hr to see everything, the volcananic eruption is pathetic to say the least! Barely any actual animatronic dinosaurs. Needless to say it leaves little to be desired, and we will definitely not be returning!
Very entertaining place for kids. Lifelike dinosaurs and erupting volcano. Very clean. My kids enjoyed the cooling splash pad after walking around and playing in the maze. Excellent fun for kids.
I am a not at all a big fan of Dinosaurs. But I must say this place is so amazing. Open wide place to have fun especially kids get to play in the play area as well as there splash pad fun in summer, and its so cool to play with water.Coming back to Dinosaurs, there are more than 40 different species live size Dinosaurs and they are so huge. I love to take pictures and I found this place amazing to take pictures.
A waste of money!! Every item inside the park is closed but charged full price. It is just a plain trees inside with few shapes. Spent $80 for nothing more than that I get from a small public park. The staff did not tell that all the items are closed and just took the money to get into the premise. Highly disappointed!!
Good amount of time to spend your day in this place. Kids love the splash and playground.
Wonderful place for spring and early summer! The dinosaur walk, moon bounce, playground, maze, and splash pad were all awesome. The prices were reasonable and worth it!
This place is so awesome! So many different things for the kiddos to see and do . You can make a a whole day of it with the family. We go every summer!
Fun place to bring the kids, well kept paths to walk on and see the dinosaurs. Saw plenty of families with strollers and wagons managing the paths without a problem. The paths offer a lot of shade for most part of the trail. The kids had the most fun in the playground and the maze. The playground had so much to offer and the kids could of spent all day just doing that. Word of advice you need to have socks on to go into the tower and also water shoes or sandals to go into the splash pad. You can’t go into the splash pad area without some sort of footwear. If you forget they do sell socks and water sandals in the gift shop. The splash pad seems good for younger kids for the older ones it’s a nice way to cool off. The volcano erupts at the hour starting from 11, you can watch it from either side of the lake, but if you miss it you’re not missing much, it’s some smoke and a spray of water, which wasn’t even red. All the kids kept waiting and asking their parents, ‘where’s the lava?”. Sorry no lava. Food prices weren’t too bad, reasonable but you can also bring your own food.
We got a membership to The Dinosaur Place, my daughter has fun on playground, socializes with other kids, gets excited seeing big dinosaur, runs and walks around. Cannot wait for the splash pad to open so we will have more fun. The staff is great, very helpful and wonderful with kids, good ice cream and other goodies for kids. Highly recommend it
We had my sons birthday party here and could not have been happier with the level of service and attention to detail that was put into making his party great. The staff was a pleasure to work with (Katie, the event coordinator, walked me through the entire process and answered all of my questions without hesitation, and Brianna, the party host, kept the party moving and was a true delight). They did EVERYTHING - helped set up, kept the kids entertained, served everyone lunch AND cupcakes, and cleaned up after we were done. Everyone had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this venue for parties. Well be back to explore the caves and dig for gemstones!
We enjoyed.... It was worth th ride n money... WATER PARK MASS....N MORE VIDEOS...PIC... AWE~SUM
Well kept grounds, nice clean clear exhibits. Plenty to do for kids between splash pad, playground, dinosaurs amd maze. Only thing we felt was underwhelming was the volcano. Other than that had a great time.
Great place for kids t9 learns about prehistoric animals and have a ice cream afterwards.
We love this place because of dinosaurs and amazing splash zone.
Great place for my kids( 4 years& 1.5 years) who are the greatest fan of the dinosaurus .. We enjoyed every minute in there..splash pad, huge multi floor outdoor playscape (bring socks! Otherwise you have to buy there), outdoor maze, huge dinosaur replicas throughout a pond walk through nature and what not...We managed to operate stroller on trail path. The paths offer a lot of shade for most part of the trail.Overall had a great time...
We love the park, especially the splash pad, I probably have more fun there than the kids
I love it here. It is like my dream come true.
My kids love dinosaurs, this was a fun place to take my kids for the weekend!
Cool dinosaurs and tons for kids to do!
Lots to do there spray park great walking trail and place keeps to climb on
Nice place very clean big park
Great for the kids, very large park and playground. A little too expensive in my opinion though.
Could have had more hand sanitizing stations placed around.
Do NOT do business here. They cancelled events for COVID-19 and refused refunds. This is a violation of consumer protection law and absolutely disgusting considering the financial difficulties families are having. We didn’t get PPP loans like you did.If anyone else has had refunds denied for services not received during COVID-19, contact your banks for charge backs. I am also looking into a class-action lawsuit and a social-media petition.Stay tuned.
It was a great time for my family! My daughter is already asking about going back! Definitely plan on going back in the future
Great place to take the kids. Well worth the time.
My kids love this place. The dinosaurs are interesting and make noise.the volcano can be scary for younger kids. Know the water park isn’t open until school is out and it’s the highest price to enter. There is a big climbing structure that does close for a lunch break. You need socks and will have to buy them to enter the climbing structure. There’s also a bounce house and playground. The dinosaur in the cave that sprays water can also be scary for small kids.its motion activated. Overall worth a visit.
The dinosaurs are so life-like! The water-park, maze and other activity areas are tons of fun, too!
My kids 3 and 6 had a blast even in the rain!
This place is amazing. Theres so much to do there, for the entire family. The splash pad and playgrounds are especially fun. Theres also ice cream right there for purchase. The only down side is that its ridiculously expensive. To get your moneys worth, plan to spend the whole day there.
Fantastic summer day adventure. Great splash pad, huge multi floor outdoor playscape (bring socks! Otherwise you have to buy them there), outdoor maze, huge dinosaur replicas throughout a pond walk through nature. They have a snack bar with basic (but perfectly fine) food and drinks but Im almost certain you can bring your own picnic. My only complaint is the price can add up rather quickly with larger groups so make sure you spend as much time there doing everything to get your moneys worth.
Love looking at all the treasures and coding a couple to bring home! Truly fascinating
Nice place !I little too expensive, but for the kids happiness, worth it
Great place for the kids, the maze was so much fun, splash pad was fun also but the water smelled a little funky. Playground gets 5 stars. Maze gets 5 stars, the dinosaurs get 3.5 stars, some of them didn’t have information and I would have really liked to know what was the name of all the dinosaurs for my son.
My 4 year old had the Time of his life! Absolutely loved it!
Great place for a family or a couple looking for a nice date.
We love it there! My Son and his wife come from N.Y. every year to get gifts for her nieces and nephews. The jewelry making supplies are pretty comprehensive. Very pleasant people work there also.
The kids will have fun, but for the money go to Mystic Aquarium and see the dinosaurs there and feel like youre contributing to education and conservation efforts. Better yet, go to Dinosaur State Park or the Yale Peabody Natural History Museum. Im sure some will love it, but as we were in the area a short time, I think our time and dollars were better spent elsewhere.
Our visit was fun. Our kids are 9&10. The splash pad was perfect on a hot day. My girl thought the life size dinosaurs were great. My son loved the maze.
Great place to learn about your rocks and If your looking to give the electronics ( iPad, video games) a breack perfect place to bring the kids
This is a great place to bring the kiddos during the summer. Theres a playground, maze, splashpad and hike trail. It is extremely over priced, its one of those things you just have to do. The kids have to wear watersheos on the splashpad and must have socks for the indoor playground maze. Dont forget to pack snacks and drinks. youll be there all day!
Great family fun for the summer. Clean, well maintained and the staff are on point with making sure everyone is having fun and being safe. The splash pad is fantastic and the playgrounds are diverse and fun. Not to mention the bug free hike to see well painted dinosaur statues. Even when it is crowded its not too busy. A little expensive, at 30 per person 2+ in peak season, but if that doesnt bother you, your in for a treat.
Highly recommended for boys and girls
So cute and the little one loved it. Will need to go back this summer to do the paths in the woods and spend more time in the head room.
A great day out with the little cavemen. Lots to do and tons to see. A great long trek and lots of playground options give kids a lot of energy dumping, soon to be nap time fun. Five star amusement but 3 star pricing. 4 and a quarter stars, charging an adult feels criminal and cheap
Great place to spend.the afternoon. Bring socks and a bathing suit with water shoes
The kids loved it the peak season pricing is a little crazy but the park is beautiful.
Great park. Clean
The park and trail where awesome. Dinosaurs had good detail. Splash park and restroom were clean and maintained. Gift shop was so BOSS!! Great place to have parent / child interaction:-)
My son love all the different dinosaurs and the splash pad
Plan on spending the whole day! Great place for all ages.
The Dinosaur Place has a great little rock and fossil museum, a large and eclectic gift shop, and an amazing walking path surrounded by life sized dinosaur sculptures. There are areas to grab food, and safe areas where you can feel comfortable letting your children free to explore. A Splash Pad, long Walking Trails, and a Maze are a few of the options that allow for a day long excursion at The Dinosaur Place.
Lots to do here. Playgrounds for all ages and plenty of hidden dinosaurs to discover. My kids love the maze and the splash pad is an added bonus when the weather is hot! We left MA to enjoy this dino place and well be back.
So much to do for kids of all ages. Nice walking path, shaded areas, and enjoyment for alla
Good for kids under ten years old, about twenty minutes walk and a save place for the kids to splash around and get wet
This place is amazing, so many things to do, so much to discover and learn!
For the money the mystic aquarium was much better. 98.00 for the 4 of us and the park was the highlight. The trails are well kept and dinasour were okay but everything is extra, mining for gems and gold was extra and kids would have enjoyed. Mini golf looked pretty nice but drive an hour and a half for golf! Save your money
I love natures art. Everyone who works there is so friendly and its just such a fun place to be.
Alway great.
Unsafe. Dozens of children all over play scape close to each other
The kids have liked this place growing up. They keep adding new things over the years. To gold digging,to outside seeing the dinosaurs, the water park, new mini golf etc. This place is an all day place, but definitely bring a small fortune. Your kids will want to do it all and that costs money. Hard for a large family unless you rich. I usually take one kid at a time so they can be spoiled. The workers only seem to know whats going on in there location. Not versed on other locations. They want you to go to for example the antique building if you want info about that building. I think if you working there you should get a 411 on all work locations. Make it easier for the person who just spent a mint to be here. They do have a store and Ive bought many gifts there. Who doesnt like dinosaurs.
Great place for kids of all ages!
Lots of things to do here, you can spend all day here if you have the money. So many different attractions not to mention the full blown toy store. The parking is free had a great time, my daughter had even more fun. She dug for stones and she was panning for gold. Mini golf and walking trails. Lunch and ice cream shop on site.
Great place for kids, great outdoors water park, do recommend to bring snacks .
A ton of fun for all ages. It has a beautiful nature trail, fun playground for all ages, and a splash pad. We got a season pass and plan to come here often with our 3 year old.Nice ice cream stand tooEDIT July 2020: I had to lower my review to 3 stars. I understand that COVID has made things difficult for everyone. But I dont like how they continuously refused to refund our annual pass this year. The services at the park are drastically reduced now. I would have been content with a 50% refund...but they offered us nothing. Basically wasted $500. Ill get an annual pass elsewhere next year.
Great place to bring the kids. Not everything was open during off season times but we still had fun on the trails. Our guy is too young but plenty of other activities to do here besides the Dinosaurs. Not sure about another review saying its not stroller friendly. We have a pretty basic stroller and I had no problem on the gravel, even with hills. Just gotta push !Well be back when our son is older for sure.
Second time taking camp there. Clean and organized. The staff is great and the kids have a blast! Make sure you bring water shoes though. Kids that didn’t have any weren’t allowed to go barefoot on the splash pad and had to miss out :(
