Oak Ridge Playhouse

Meet Me in St Louis was superb! All of the participants were wearing mics, so we could hear every word said and every note sung. The singers, actors, and actresses were excellent. We highly recommend the playhouse in Oak Ridge. We came away humming the familiar tunes! It was a very pleasant experience.

Outstanding performance for Meet me in St. Louis. This is a great small playhouse. Ester role was superb! I’ve seen the play performed many times, and the cast was excellent.

This is a fantastic venue for many types of performances. It is manageable with mobility challenges/ issues. They do first rate performances, with fantastic performers!

Being an actor and audience member has been fantastic! Everything is SO professional and it cant get much better than it is. The fellow actors, the music (thanks Braxton) and ESPECIALLY the directing from the one, the only, Reggie Law. I suggest everyone to see a performance here at least once.

Ive seen a few shows here and they have all been top notch! The theater layout is very nice and feels a cut above many community theaters. I would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy quality stage arts and entertainment.

The Oak Ridge playhouse has been producing strong theater for over 70 years! Plays and musicals are all produce with great skill and expertise. I love that each show includes new-to-the-playhouse performers. I love the volunteer spirit that makes it feel like an extended family. I highly recommend going to see a play or musical at the Oak Ridge Playhouse. You will not be disappointed!

This is a gem in a small town. The talent is great, and the shows are reliably very well done. i have especially enjoyed the sets recently; Very professional theater

Meet me in st louis was great. love the old setting

I get season tickets and recommend this. Handicap access is through an outside ramp to the left.

One of my favorite places for date night with my husband.

Great plays with wonderful actors. There is so much time and effort put into every play. It truly is a great place and good for the community.

If the play being listed is one you think you would enjoy, go for it!!! The plays presented at this theater are excellent! The actors are usually well rehearsed for their roles unless you you go too early, before the actors have a good handle on their roles. If, Rollin Prince, is listed as an actor in an Oak Ridge Playhouse production, DO NOT MISS IT!!!!!!

The kids definitely know their stuff. The shows definitely take me back to the years when I was growing up. Great job.

The play and the actors were awesome. The extremely slanted floor and not offsetting the seats left something to be desired. Another cubicle in the bathroom would be a good thing, too. But the quality of the performances is what I come back for. Its a very old building after all.

Great Play. Meet Me in St. Loius was great!!!!

The plays that were presented were top notch, and it seems like they have people who really care there

Awesome play Meet me in St Louis

Marvelous play! They did a great job of 9 - 5!

Nice venue. Not a bad seat in the house.

Wonderful production, singing, dancing, acting, costumes.

We always enjoy the plays. Seating and sight lines are good.

We attended Alice in wonderland. A nice touch of change to a classic. We really enjoyed it. We will return in the future!

Great Alice in Wonderland production. Enjoyed the adaptation, the actors and the set.

I love the Tony award winning Broadway plays performed at the playhouse. They are spectacular and second to none! I love to volunteer at the playhouse also!

We have attended a few of the plays and have enjoyed them very much. We just went to see 1 Man 2 Guvnors and left at intermission. Nothing was funny and could tell that you had people associated with the play in different seats laughing at the sections that we did not see funny. I guess this play was just not our cup of tea. The music was the saving grace of the whole evening. Excellent talent. We will continue to pick and choose our plays and come back to enjoy. We noticed that there quite a few people leaving when we did. It is a shame, because there is so much good talent in this area. We especially enjoyed 76 Trombones and Golden Pond just to name a few.

First time visiting. Wonderful experience.

Had a great time. Saw Peter Pan. Very talented cast.

Excellent quality productions! Never dissapoints

Community theater at its best, now in its 75th season! An Oak Ridge tradition not to be missed. Productions are always first-class using local talent. Two thumbs up!

Amazing actors for Peter Pan. Loved the show.

May 16, 2019 just saw Steel Magnolias. Excellent!

Very good experience! Awesome play

Saw Oklahoma. It was a great performance. thanks

To Kill a Mockingbird--best production of this play that Ive seen.

We have been there many times.have had a wonderful time every time.

Lend me a Tenor, was another great play at Oak Ridge Playhouse. Steven Fitchpatrick and Cast did an Awesome job again.

Great theater, talented cast, beautiful sets! Saw Lend Me a Tenor. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great place, location and all the crew. Really good play.

Love the playhouse. Wonderful talent

Nice venue for plays and other live events

Great place for local plays! My son and I love watching their productions

Great play, a small theater but great.

Currently presenting a fantastic rendition of Oklahoma.

One of the main reasons we moved to Oak Ridge years ago. been season ticket holders for years as well. great culture great shows

It is only a play is a dreadful production, you will have more fun going to a funeral! The script is monotonous, acting is awful - with the exception of Reggie Law, who is a very good actor and there are a couple of scenes that make you ask what they were thinking!! Like when everybody is kneeling and Dennis Njororais clownish tantrum with a muppet. Dont waste your money on this event, instead go to a good movie or get a great cup of coffee and dessert.

Home of some fine community theater.

Wonderful production of Mame! Thoroughly enjoyed the evening!

Awesome performance.

Please turn the air on. Show is great. Seats are very close together and its 40 degrees outside /80 degrees inside.
