Love this place! On many occasions we’ve seen herds of Deer by the park. My kids love it n my dog loves it.CAUTION ️ THE play area ground has very mushy areas that will cause your ankle to kick out if your not aware. I hope they fix it soon. My ankle is on its 2nd injury from it.

Great place to enjoy Lake Michigan, small sand beach, boat launch and plenty of hiking nearby. A view of the nearby coal plant is the only eyesore of this beautiful park. Nearby Lake Vista Park is only about 1.5 mile walk to an incredible view.

Peaceful, lots of safe and camera all over to keep the park safer then alot of others. Beautiful for bird watching and walking as well as dusk and dawn you can see deer, both fawn and mothers. And a few bucks once I a while

I love this park. The driveway down to the beach needs to be repaved and could use some lights because it gets really dark at night and is a winding road with a huge incline.

Small beach for dipping your feet or a refreshing swim. The view here from the rocks is pretty .

This place is just an amazing Gem here. The water is ice cold but so beautiful. The beach is on the smaller side, but thats okay. The pier is beautiful and concessions make it even better.

Fantastic boat landings, real wide and big enough for 6 boats. Also plenty of parking. Just loved it.

Went for a wonderful day of paddleboarding. Only downside was it was a little bit crowded all day, even in earlier morning. But it is a wonderful view, so I understand why so many people wanted to be there. There is also a awesome walking trail close by, you can rent a boat, jetski, and kayaks. Pretty cool place.

Bender Park is a nice park to go on walks, take photos, feel the breeze from Lake Michigan, ride bikes, etc.

Small sandy cove beach. Protected from waves. Snack bar and boat launch.

Beach is small but nice, not rocky, easy to walk on. Water stays shallow for a good ways out into the lake, great beach for small children.

We found a nice rock under a shade tree to eat lunch and watch people swimming. Beautiful views.

Beautiful view, peaceful and quiet. The problem is that people dont pick up after themselves. COME ON PEOPLE! Pick up your trash. No garbage cans? No problem, take it home with you and throw it away.

Its a beautiful place, the beach is wonderful. Unfortunately it was dirty and very noisy. People with boom boxes on full volume. Packed with people smoking, trash and cigarette butts everywhere. Flies and mosquitos everywhereTried to keep a safe distance but people kept approachin us.A real pity because it truly is a stunning place. Wouldnt recommend it for familes. :(

The grandsons had such a good time playing in the sand and letting the waves catch them. The beach could be kept a bit cleaner.

Beach area is very small making it seem more crowded than it is and the water is FREEZING. However sand is awesome and concession stand is a plus....

We had a nice walk here and its always exciting to be able to be on the water but i wish the power plant wasnt so close. It looses some of the appeal because of the location being so close

Its okay. There were a group of hillbillies doing burnouts and with Confederate flag in their pickup trucks in the parking lot when we went... So didnt feel super safe there with kids. View is beautiful. Beach area is small.

Need to get the harbor lights on. Its dangerous for boaters

Very nice small pavilion and area

The view here is very nice and great for pictures, the flower beds were pretty and there were a good amount of seating areas. However, the bathrooms were filthy. The smell was gross it was as if they haven’t been cleaned in years. I would still come here to look at the view, they really need to clean their bathrooms.

This is a very nice, quiet, clean little park. They have a boat ramp where I introduced my dog to swimming. It has a nice little beach too. I like this park bc its still not very well known.

Very nice park. Theres a beer garden in the summer and a nice beach. There is also a small hiking trail which is kinda nice for dog walking.

If they are okay to open the concession stand to make money they should open the bathroom.

Its a beautiful spot. Great for families. Theres a small beach area for swimming as well as a unloading area for boats and jet skis.

All the newly built paths and facilities are beautiful... highly recommend to ride bikes around this entire area.

My first time there and delightfully surprised! The lake, trails, boaters heaven, looking forward to visiting on a warm summer day!

Nice little park hidden along Lake Michigan. A small beach, with walking/ cycling paths.

Beautifully scenic area, a great spot for swimming. While it does seem to get a little more crowded on the weekends, it really is a great area to visit.

This used to be a little known place and always nice and quiet. You can go sit on the rocks and just be near the lake. Now there is so much development that it isnt the same, but I still love it and feel much more safe going there with more ppl around. The only thing is that I wish there were more cops around. These kids drive up and down the hill in their trucks and there is what looks like a lot of drug activity, but always way back at the North end of the lot. Keep your kids away from there and you will never know.

Our grandson loves to swim at the cove beach. Clean and kid friendly. Lake Michigan can get wavy even behind the break walls so bring a life vest for kids. Water is shallow so on calm days kids can walk out 50 yards.

Its a beautiful place and they have bathroom facilities, boat ramp and a good amount of car and boat trailer parking.

Nice size beach, pavilion with bathrooms, picnic tables, hose too clean off with, concessions that sell ice cream, spot too lookout at Lake Michigan. Also its secluded, not a lot traffic, and a boat launch too. Highly recommend this place.

When I went it was my PTSD anniversary, I fully expected to be packed because theres a bright sunny day, but even on that sort of a day, there was only one or two families there. It was entirely peaceful and I cant wait to enjoy another day out there. The only problem I might have with the park is the beach is a bit small. And its not even worth being honest and knocking off a star, its literally the best beach Ive been to in the state of Wisconsin. At minimum I can guarantee my spot for catching some sun.
