Cute place. Feels homey and warm coz its not a huge place and you wont feel lost. Its kind of personal and the actors seems like really talking to you, since they are within reach. :) Enjoyed my first time especially with my nieces performance!! :)

Saw a play reading there. The play was good, but the chairs were uncomfortable and the theater was very hot.

If you have nothing better to do for a couple of hours, and you dont mind off, off, off Broadway theater, this may be for you.The prices are reasonable enough for community theater. They do offer a discount for students and seniors.The theater volunteers, crew, ushers and staff are friendly for the most part.There are only 6 parking spaces on the property if you get there early enough. If not, you have free parking 2 blocks away on the street or in a parking lot.There is a limited variety of snacks and beverages available for a $1. donation per item.Out of the 5 main stage productions that are put on per year, some are musicals, some are not, two at best are watchable and enjoyable.As there is a flight of stairs to get up to the theater and a flight of stairs to get down to the restrooms, it is not accessible for the disabled or handicapped at all.It is usually quite warm in the theater ALL year long!Although there is air conditioning, you would never know it in the theater. With it on and the ceiling fans running at full power, its still incredibly hot. Downstairs by the restrooms, it is very cool. It would be great if you could watch the show from down there, but you cant.

I dont get how it could be handy cap accessible, but otherwise the play I went to see was great.

I like to say Nutley Little Theater, the only little thing is our space big performances, big productions. . . all the feels!

Attended the performance of The Heiress. For community theater, it was a superb performance.

Friendly theater that has been a community fixture for 80 years. Tucked away on a residential street but worth seeking out.
