Fun place to play 6v6 boarded indoor soccer. Newer artificial field turf like the Detroit Lions use and NHL plexiglass. There are 5 field players and a goal keeper per team. Fast-paced game where a player can get many touches on the ball in each game of two 25 minutes halves. Players can substitute on the fly, like hockey players do. They often offer a house team for new players to the game or players without a team. They usually offer 2 or 3 divisions per gender and age group (youth, adult open-age, and over 30. Still hoping they start an over 40) to match teams of each skill level (along with coed divisions). Per player cost is around $115 per 8-game session as of January 2020. If you are an experienced, skilled player, then feel free to contact me if youre looking for a team.
The fields are very good and very well maintained
What an awesome time my family of 17 had at Whirlyball tonight! Your staff is great and so accommodating and the food was excellent. Thanks for the super memories!!
Good indoor soccer location. My kids have played there for years and really enjoyed it.
Great place to play indoor soccer 9 competitive league that I play in good exercise good people had a great time bathrooms are clean the surface or turf is good had a really good experience will be joining the team that I played 4 definitely worth checking out if you like indoor soccer or soccer or just exercise because you dont have to be good at soccer to play theyre not know league were in..
Could use some upgrades but still a great facility with a friendly staff and lots of soccer for all ages.
Could use some upgrades or remodeling just seems little old but its a great place
The staff and the teams that play there r worth the time to come c them get down
They are busy there. Great place for indoor soccer. They try hard.
Good play, but when youre an allstar like myself, theres really no such thing as competition. Total soccer would be perfect but the score boards only go up 99, so my second half goals dont show up.
Great local indoor soccer facility. Clean with 3 boarded fields. Nice for training or U10 and younger boarded games.
I actually just went to the Affordable auto place behind.
Nice place but would really benefit from some upgraded HVAC, gets really hot in the summer.
Nice indoor sports park, however the spectators have to sit at one end of the main field and there is very little room for them there. Well lit, and heated in winter.
This place is awesome for soccer, the little kickers is a very good program for childs
Place is well kept and nice staff. -1 star for occasional scheduling problems
Good place, many kids there
This location is reasonable size--not overwhelming like wixom--good coaches, and very flexible about the programs, instructors and times. The snack bar is rarely operating during kids events which is a bummer, and the fields tend to get the kids quite dirty, but maybe thats just how it has to be. The management is good, the price is good and the value is even better.
Total Sports has done a great job of keeping games under control this year, especially at the high school level. Their responsiveness to injuries on the field has been compassionate and sincere. We are very impressed.
Ive only been here a couple of times because my boyfriend plays soccer here. Im not so sure about pricing or management or anything like that, but its a pretty nice area and the fields seem to be well kept.
Snack bar attendants were cheerful and recommended the fresh pizza
Whirly ball is awesome. Prices for booze are extremely low and the drinks are the strongest Ive had in town. I definitely recommend this place if only as a sports bar since they have TVs all over the place.
Very nice staff and good place for sports
Nice place to play soccer.
Great complex and is well maintained. I have been for a couple soccer matches and had a great time. Got some help buying equipment as well and prices were fair which is rare with an in house shop.
Good indoor complex
Great facility, has 3 courts to play. It could use some water fountains, unless I did not see them
This place has a well-qualified excellent staff dedicated to teaching kids soccer and other sports. The facilities are well kept with three full size fields. Practices in the little kickers programs often share field space with each other making practice a little cramped at times. My son went from knowing nothing about soccer to being a pretty good player in about 6 months thanks to the coaches and other staff members.
Very friendly staff. smells like sweat would be my only complaint, clean place. I would recommend kids classes here for soccer.
Too hot not enough ventilation
Recently we attended the 3v3 Presidents Day Tournament that was being held at the facility. This event has been done in that past as well as soccer games are regularly played. Our boys won their 1st game, then lost the 2nd game. To advance to the Finals we needed a win with a 2+ goal differential. The boys won their last game 5-3. The ref wrote the score down incorrectly with it being tied 4-4 and turned in the score card. At all other experienced facilities a score card is written up after every game and signed-off with the agreement of the scores by the coaches and the ref. We had to explain to the 9 year old players that there was a simple mistake by the organization and even though they won that we would not be moving forward to the Finals. On another note, playing in these types of tournaments they usually schedule the play times within the same time period for the age groups. Teams had to sit between matches for 2 hours before their next match. Makes no sense when there are only 4 teams in a bracket. So kids had games at 10:00, 12:30 & 3:00.Being in the soccer community, a player and a coach, it amazed me how poorly this event was handled. You might want to look at the way Wide World Sports Complex out of Ann Arbor runs their Thanksgiving Day 3v3 Tournament as a reference.John
Always hot as blazes, no air flow, no locker rooms, no showers, dirty bathrooms
The staff is nice and the coaches are outstanding with the kids. Our daughter has been coming here for two years and every week she cannot wait to play soccer!
Great place to play soccer. Good teams to play against
Decent facility, lazy refs. Could be great with a little extra effort from management. Been playing here since it was built as Soccer Zone years ago.
Difficult to find from the road, no sign. Building is hot with no air flow. View from bleachers is pretty bad, no good angle to see the field.
Very good
A well managed and accommodating sports complex. New turf and plenty of space to play.
Indoor soccer league at its best
Nice venue. Needs some more fans for the hot days to bring down the inside temps.
I just started with a league here, and so far has been great. The building is older, so the air quality isnt great, but it is pretty cool which makes play pretty comfortable.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Facility is older but well kept.
Its ok.
I would have given them a 5 but the return policy sucks if something comes up and u pre pay. Learned a valuable lesson
Total Sports has several nice turf indoor soccer fields. The place seems well-maintained.
Love this place. Great team of operators.
Nice place. Friendly staff.
Food and service arrested perfect. Location is ideal and place is always clean and friendly.
I am a member of this soccer community. The ground and ambiance of the court are awesome.
Is one of the best places to play football regardless if is snowing.
Came to play whirly ball. It is awesome
Awesome
Cool place for a team to play boarded soccer. It is crazy hot in the summer though.
Staff is usually friendly and fields are good quality
Nice area. The indoor soccer fields are in good condition.
Not as big as Wixom but nice place.
Weather proof training facility
Intelligent staff. Definitely has the occasional terrible ref or sleeveless roid player but my favorite facility in the area.
Played whirley ball here and I had a blast. Im terrible and probably have whiplash but Id play again
Great Staff.
All good, just need more parking!
A bit dingy inside. Could use a lot better lighting too.
Well organized. Games stay on schedule.
Good facility and enthusiastic staff!
Ive played coed open here for years and its a lot of fun!
Very crowded and not what I was expecting, but it serves its purpose.
Non-attentive staff
Decent turf but not great
Decent indoor soccer complex
The refs are awesome there.
Great facility
Lit
Indoor soccer arena
Fun
Well organized
Love it
Nice place friendly staff
Honestly this is the worst facility I’ve ever played at. Lazy refs and the fields are disgustingly dirty and worn out. I’m a goalie and the turf in the goal boxes is so worn down it felt like I was diving around on the concrete. Never playing here again..
Fields are getting older now, time to change turf.
Sports stuff
Boarded indoor soccer
They need to fix the fields, I was covered in black tar dust.
Great fun for the Family!
Horrible refs, the kids are not in safe hands with the incompetent referees hired here
Great fun at a great facility
It is an old facility for sure, but it serves it purpose well. there are 3 fields each with its own scoreboard.
Great place
