I was very pleased to see how Emagine is taking safety protocols very seriously. Everything was properly sanitized before and after the movie. Lots of distance between occupied seats, I mean nothing is 100% virus free but I felt a lot safer in the movies than at a restaurant. I missed going to the movies.

I really liked the Drive-In experience at Emagine’s Novi Theatre.First, my only complaint is that the screen is rather small. If you don’t get in one of the front aisles, it’s a little difficult to see. My wife and I went for a musical. So that fact mattered less.Positives- it was very organized. There are plenty of staff to keep things in order. Concessions are available at an indoor counter. Or, if you prefer, you can order from an outside tent and get them delivered to your car. We opted for the latter.I would definitely do it again.Great job Emagine!!

Ive always had a great time at Emagine. Prices arent anymore expensive than other theaters, staff has always been friendly and helpful, and seats are great. The new drive-in weekends have been awesome!

First time for the drive in set up. It was nice. I would definitely attend again. The staff were nice, concession lines were not that bad at all.

We had the pleasure of watching the new frozen movie in the cuddle couches, such a great way to enjoy the movie all snuggled up just like at home. Would highly recommend!!

$30 for one movie when other drive ins charge $10 for two movies! What if Im going by myself I still have to pay the ridiculous price of $30?? Save your money and go to the drive in Dearborn, better value for your money. Dont reply to emails or dont offer refunds if you cant make it. I would give 0 stars if I could

Not good!!! It was very discriminatory. My sons had reserved the IMAX theater auditorium for the University of Michigan and Michigan State football game. He had done a walk through with the managers the day before and even received a call from from the home office on his way to the theater today. The home office person assured him that everything was good to go however once we got there the manager on duty said that it was a mistake and tried to put us in a smaller venue. My son was told that a large corporation had scheduled an appointment just ahead of us and the manager on duty acted as though my son hadnt had the right to be there. We were put in a slightly smaller theater than the IMAX but during the game I went over to the IMAX theater and there was only seven people in the theater watching the Michigan-Michigan State game. There was no coincidence to me that we were all African Americans and the group that was awarded the IMAX theater were Caucasians. My son is filing a formal complaint. This was outrageous we are all correction officers, police officers, and social workers. We moved out I believe because we were black and my sons are younger than the party that eventually got the IMAX theater. This was a retirement present to me from my sons. I had just retired from the state of Michigan department of corrections 2 hours before the start of the game it was insulting and several guest canceled once they found out that we didnt have the larger venue and refused to show up. I personally wont be doing any business with imagine theaters again.Dwayne A. Mims Sr.

Went to see a drive in movie for my daughters 16th birthday. Despite the difficult situation everyone is in due to COVID & most of their employees working outside in the heat, everyone was polite and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Emagine theater in Novi is a great place to see a movie great staff and the food is fresh. I apologize i was thinking of another theater.

This theater advertised showtimes tonight, without notifying online that the place was closed for a private event tonight (10/17). I received a refund, but got screwed out of the convenience fee.Poor management. Bunch of shoemakers.

Went to drive in experience. Screen was smallish but worst was there was a definitive lack of full use of screen with a few feet of black border on the sides and top and bottom. Also the school effect on sound from other cars muddled the audio.

Drive was okay, happy to be able to get out the house BUT the movie shouldve filled up the whole screen. Kinda hard to see if you were parked further back

We always enjoy going to this Emagine Novi. Love having the ability to reserve recliner seats in advance. They have a good selection of movies that are out, so easy to find something for everyone to enjoy. They have the typical snack selections and the typical movie prices. Ample staff to take care of the guests.

Very clean theater! The customer service is good although no one ever talks to me when I go so I hope thats normal? I usually dont even get my ticket checked. The prices are outrageous for food, but their rewards program is a little helpful for that. I always bring a blanket with me. It gets a little chilly in there.

We always have a great experience here... and tonight there was a technical issue with our theater. There was someone waiting for us to explain the situation then he escorted us to the alternate viewing. The movie was barely 5 minutes later and we were given passes for a free movie. We will definitely be back for many more movies!

They are currently having drive in movies and are following all social distancing rules during this awful pandemic. Helps take the edge off of being stuck at home. Clean bathrooms and very friendly staff. Food is available for car-side delivery as well as in building concessions. Highly recommended if your in need of an outing

Yesterday my daughter saw Star Wars and loved it. She got home and realized she had lost her new air pods that were a Christmas gift. I called that evening and talked to Tony and told him where she sat and asked him if he could look for them. I explained that my daughter was crying and very sad. Tony said he had to wait for the current show to end at 10:10 but would call me back to tell if he found them. I said, “Thanks Tony, you are a true Christmas Elf”. He did call back, I missed the call, so he text me the good news that he found them under her seat and would hold them for us at the Guest Service desk. We went back today and spoke to Tyler the supervisor and he had them for us. My daughter is so happy and I cannot express my gratitude to Tony & Tyler enough, not only for the effort but for the kindness and honesty! Truly outstanding staff! For us it is a Christmas miracle!! Thank you so much!

Tickets were bought online. Saw Goalie, it was actually a good movie. The players back prior to the players union were treated so poorly by the teams.Purchased a popcorn and a bottle of water. Customer service was great, the folks at the concession stand wre cheerful and polite. I was also offered a smaller container to share our popcorn. The young lady that cashed us out asked if we were loyalty members. She found us in the computer, good for me because my medium (refillable) popcorn was $1.Reclining seats were comfy, and the theater including the restroom was clean.

Always clean and well taken care of. Great bar. Fave food is the quesadillas. Love the recliners! I buy my tickets online and pick my seat then. I dont have to stand in line and worry about getting a good seat like other theaters.

This place is better than your typical movie theater. Yes, the prices are high, but you get what you pay for. The seats were super comfy and made for a pleasurable experience. Again, the concession prices are high, but you get free refills on the drinks and the sizes are huge. Overall, I paid a nice chunk of cash, but had a really good time. Emagine is a nice business to have in Novi.

A nice comfortable theatre, but the ticket prices are too high. They have assigned seats that recline, and a nice sound system. But some theatres are way smaller then others and those have not as good sound and screen.

This was the best movie theater experience Ive ever had. It rivals any other movie theater out there. The movie theatre is so spacious and they have so many food options. Their popcorn is ok though, nothing special. They have reclining chairs and a really wide aisle as so you have an absurd amount of legroom plus enough for someone to serve you. I was so amazed by this I cant stop thinking about it every time I go to my local theatre.

Overall pleasant experience with the exception of the service at the concession stand. The young man didnt seem to hear anything we said in terms of special requests for our popcorn. Just more interested in moving is along. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star experience.

Plenty of room, comfortable seating. The movie sound is too loud but tolerable with adjustable sound blockers. The screen is huge and visible from every angle! The staff is wonderful, helpful, courteous, and actually appear to want to help. There is comfortable seating for those waiting for their movie to start. There are lots of delicious meals and a wide variety of drinks. All in all my visit was extremely enjoyable.

My favorite theatre! Not only do you get great discounts with your loyalty card, but drinks and popcorn are great! Bahama Mama is my go-to drink. Very comfortable seats, love the app (you can buy your tickets on the app and check your points). Hands down, my favorite place to watch movies.

Saw Zombieland in their Emax theater! Screen is much larger than average and the seats are very comfortable recliners! Little chilly tho so bring a blanket! But most importantly...heed my warning! If you are at the last showing dont think you can go back for popcorn refills because they close the concessions before the movie is even over!! Yeah...that sucks!!

Very clean and comfortable in the theater. The only complaint I have is the concessions. I ordered a few things and was told they would be brought to my seat soon. Over an hour through the movie I had to leave the theater to grab my food. The movie was just about over at that point and the order couldnt be refunded so it was pretty much overpriced take-out.

E-max screens are the best. The sound and size make movie going a special treat. Seats are super comfortable, reclining to just the right spot. Clean and friendly atmosphere to go see a movie at.

They have a large screen on their outside wall and are using the parking lot as a drive in theater. Car in front of us kept turning on their car lights, which must have been a common occurrence as 4 cars down from us, two other separate groups were arguing and threatening each other over car lights. Management eventually moved both cars, but it was a good experience.

Excellent place to enjoy a movie or two. Love the reclining seats. The food and beverages are pretty pricey .

Went and saw Ford v. Ferrari on a date. The sound was excellent for the smaller theatre we were in and the recliner chairs were such a treat. Will definitely come back.

My husband and I go here often. The staff is awesome & the food is tasty. Popcorn is always fresh and the seats are comfortable. We used to go here about once or twice a week lol. Emagine Novi is one of the best theaters in Michigan by far.

These folks run a first class operation. The seats and clean and comfortable and the picture and sound are great. By far my familys favorite place to see a movie.

So here is a neat trick. Get a college ID with some cheap class and get a discount on movies for the rest of your life (as long as you still have the card)

Love the seating options. You can get a reclining seat for one or a cuddle sofa for two. They have beer and a great variety of soft drinks and juice. Free refills for popcorn and FREE popcorn on Tuesdays. Be sure to sign up and become a loyalty rewards member tho get more free stuff!

Disappointing experience today at Emagine - Novi. About half way through the Fantasy Island movie a loud noise and then no sound but movie still playing. Then screeching and very loud feedback sound (similar to putting a microphone to close to a speaker). After about 10 mins the staff announced their sound system not working and everyone would receive a refund for the movie. I was hoping they would move us to another theater or do something so we could finish the movie. Its difficult enough getting our family together and then this happens. So disappointed. There is Not another time that all of us can go together again to see this movie. Wished we would have picked a different theater. FYI - the ads before the movie were exceptionally loud especially the chevrolet one. Perhaps something was wrong with sound then or reason why it blew. Im not an expert but my ear is hurting now. Did not rate them a 1 because staff is nice and apologetic but Emagine should be prepared when things like this happen and check their sound systems.

Large theater with extremely comfortable reclining seats. Youre able to reserve your seat using the website to make sure you get your preferred spot. They also provide the ability to have food delivered to your seat during the movie.

Everyone is friendly. The theater seats are very comfortable. I love the popcorn! Its nice to be able to get a variety of drinks. The screens are huge. Its a great get away from it all experience.

The seats were great and prices not too high, although seem to be on the rise. Overall a great place but the lines in concession were a little confusing and bathrooms werent very clean. Still, the theater itself was nice and seats were so comfy.

Not the best experience. Went to novi theater expected a way nicer experience than we had. Not very clean on a Sunday night 9pm, wanted a drink but they had the bar closed because they didn’t have a bartender. The employees weren’t friendly at all, my boyfriend asked one what theater was ours based on the phone since we had purchased tickets online and she told us to look on the phone because on there it would tell us. Not even took a look at it, didn’t care. Was very disappointed

Go there often. Very nice theater. The sound quality is excellent. The seats are very comfortable and the Emax is fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone.

The seats are soooo comfortable. Popcorn is usually fresh with different seasonings you can add for free. They offer adult beverages and its in a perfect location should you decide to go for dinner or more drinks after the movie. It sits in the center of other cool spots to hang out.

Drive in theater was a lot of fun.

Been coming here since they opened, more than a decade, and they are still top-notch. The place is beautiful inside and well kept. They also provide great service. Had one hiccup with food never showing up, but that was when they first started delivering food and they fixed the mistake.

A great movie experience and the food is fantastic. The wife and I have our dinner in the theater while watching the film. The food must be prepared by a chef and it WELL WORTH THE PRICE.

Movie star treatment. They were premiering a movie in the lobby. Really cool experience. Clean, a large variety of snacks, and beyond comfy seating.

The weekend police presence was nice to keep the teenagers a bit more under control compared with past experiences at this location. Its pretty close to the bars, so there are a few rowdy drunks; amateur hour on Friday and Saturday nights. Overlooking the use of cellphones and people talking throughout the movie, its not bad. Probably best during daytime and not on the weekends if you dont like throwing down with some punks or want to just enjoy the movie.

Their venue also consist of classic movies; bringing back old Hollywood glamour days, and concerts of some of your favorite stars. They offer Autism friendly movies and much much more. The food is brought to your seat, so you dont miss your movie. What are you waiting for? get off your couch and head to the Emagine Novi your stars are waiting.

Emagine became and has remained my preferred theater group for a few years now. Literally every interaction Ive had with staff the members have gone above and beyond with anything I needed and never made me feel like it was an issue for them. You pick your seats and all of them are personal recliners with heated seats. The ticket prices are literally the exact same or maybe cheaper than other theaters. Oh, they not only will deliver food (like their pizzas or whatever) to your seat but they also serve alcohol. After going to Emagine I have literally 0 reason to go to any other theater and I think it will stay that way.

Me and 2 other family members came to this movie theater to view the Han Solo movie. Once we got seated, I realized we and another small family were the only ones in the theater, which was fantastic. We got reclining seats and enjoyed the movie for 2 hours. The movie theater itself had no negative flaws and was enough to satisfy a fellow like me.

The staff are wonderful, the food and drinks are good, and the movie experience is always. I will say however that everything is so overpriced I feel the need to only go on Tuesdays to get my half off tickets with my reward card. Just getting two tickets, two large drinks and pop corn bundles comes to nearly $60. They take overpriced to a while new level.

Reclining huge leather seats! Also cuddle seats! 6$ for matinee tickets which i think is pretty good these days! VERY big place only theater we go to anymore!

Excellent service. I had a bad experience with a guest who was sitting in my assigned seat but wouldnt move when I asked. I wouldve gotten another seat but the theater was filling up and I wasnt sure if I would find another empty seat, so I talked to the staff and they took care of the situation and were really great and polite about it.Please sit in your assigned seat people!! You make it difficult for everyone when you dont.

I was disappointed with Super EMax. It wasnt as big screen as advertised. Sound was also not as impressive as advertised. I did however enjoyed the recliner. The experience wasnt worth the price. Bathrooms were not maintained. Theater needs detailed cleaning.

Its a shame going to the movies is not the same as it was. So I decide to surprise the kids with a movie date only to be told no tickets were available. So I asked how do I make sure this doesnt happen again and Im told the movies went electronic, buy your tickets online, or come in earlier. We showed up 30 mins before show started. Oh well, not only do they lose my money for tickets but also concession stand and games. For a family of six thats a big ticket all because they went electronic. We are going mini golf now.

Come on, you really cant beat this place. The food is great, the atmosphere is great, and the theaters themselves are awesome. Especially Emax. I always reserve the midnight showing for any movie in excited about at this theater... More specifically at Emax!
