Go to this place, learn about the history of Hamilton air force base. very interesting to see how things were once not so long ago.
I just wish it couldve been a bit bigger. But overall, it was a great experience.
We done job. We feel the love from the volunteers who put all this together. It is worth a trip, specially if you like history.
Small butt well done museum - part of which is the history of the air field around it and the building (a former fire station) and its rebuilding into a museum. A labor of love.
Great place to learn more about aviation history! Good to know that places like this are still around!
People working (maybe volunteers) were very nice to talk too and were very knowledgeable. Not a big place but quite interesting if you like aviation history.
The Hamilton AFB museum was outstanding. Very historical base back in the haydays of. WWII through Vietnam, if you like local history watch the thirty minute video about the base. If you know AFI 36-2903, you will go crazy when you see the uniforms on display (I am going to go back and adjust the displays on my next trip to the Bay Area). Overall, this is a great way to learn about the history of the area.
A great place to meet & see the military exhibits & amazing aircraft models.
