Emma is AMAZING! She’s so helpful & attentive to detail. Highly recommend this place specifically because of her customer service!
My family loves Goldfish Swim school! The swim instructors are patient and positive and the front desk staff are so helpful!
Thank you for talking excellent safety measures during this uncertain times.
Warm, clean and professional. My baby have 9 months and she loves it.
I signed up my kid at Norwood location since they opened it. First one year seems to be good. Quality of instruction came down dramatically for last few months may be because of overwhelming enrollment at this location. It is unfortunate that my kid has one bad instructor at one point and when we complained, from next class I can see instructorattitude towards the kid and parents completely changed. No more going back to the this place again.
We love the small classes and the individual attention our son gets. He has progressed so much faster at Goldfish than in any other swim lessons we have tried. We love that he moves up to the next level whenever he is ready and that there is continuity in the skills instruction across levels and teachers. And we love Zach!! He is super professional and knowledgeable and his approach is a great match for our sons personality. We could not be happier! We will be signing our younger son up for lessons soon too.
My daughter loves it here. She learned more in the first 8 minutes than she did over 8 weeks at the Y. Its clean, well organized, and staff are very helpful. Its a bit pricey but worth it.
Our son has been swimming at Goldfish since he was 3 months old. We absolutely love going there for classes and family swim. Friendliest staff youll ever see and a welcoming environment.
Weve taken swim lessons elsewhere, and while their instructors were great, the overall experience just did not compare to Goldfish. Every single aspect of the layout caters to young kids and makes it easy and enjoyable each week. Both my 3yo & 6yo LOVE their classes and their teachers
Amazing experience. Brought my one year old son and immediately felt comfortable which is not always an easy task. The staff made more than comfortable by making him feel special and having fun with him. Definitely would recommend to anyone who is looking for a family fun place to swim
We love Goldfish Swim School in Norwood. They are very accommodating. Staff is friendly, especially Joe (General Manager). We are coming there for family swim every Friday. The water is warm and very comfortable for our 2 years old to be in. Love that they provide some floaties, balls, and goggles for the kids to use.
I really wanted to give this place five stars but I just cant, at least not yet.Having a young child of 11 months, we wanted to introduce her to swimming and after a few Google searches, found three nearby locations to this Michigan-based franchise, including their newest out in Norwood that opened recently.I filled out an interest form and no more than 90 seconds later, my phone rang and the young one was booked for her first, mini class. A few days went by and off we were on a brisk Saturday morning. The establishment itself is absolutely awesome. Bright colors, a nice fish tank and a huge viewing area which overlooks the pool, with chairs, for the family members who arent actively participating in the swimming. Theres some Tropical-themed changing rooms, a changing table and even a couple of centrifuges to help dry up towels and swim gear. Theyve thought of everything and its all kid-themed and immaculate. The staff is relatively friendly, especially the ones in the pool doing the classes and overall weve had a good experience. Well... except for the first time we went. The water heater broke so the pool was much colder than it should have been. No heads up, apologies or refunds. We had to check-in before our second class to make sure that things were back to normal and they were but it would have been nice to know ahead of time because we would have never driven out there knowing that my daughter would spend 30 chilly minutes in the water shivering and miserable. So why only 4 stars? Mostly because of their front desk scheduling process and pricing models. Both times weve been theyve been incredibly aggressive in trying to sell us on their $100/month tier good for 1 lesson/a week even though Ive repeatedly said that because of scheduling, that wed rather do the $25 walk-ins. Theyve told us many times that they cant fit us in many classes because they prioritize the people with the monthly plan which is absurd because why offer walk-ins if youre not going to honor anything?Their schedules are also very limited on weekends with only 2-3 available 30 minute blocks per day which can make it tough for some people to make it. I was kind of hoping theyd have more per day but maybe thatll change over time? Who knows. We plan on continuing to come for the time being and hope that theyll take a more passive approach to this whole $100 plan and let us do the $25 walk-ins. Rumor is they might get rid of it all-together at which point well probably go somewhere else since I dont want to commit to a lesson a week. Theyre aggressive to the point where weve had to walk out and get things scheduled over the phone which was much easier and quicker. Go figure. But that aside, Goldfish is a great franchise and the staff clearly cares deeply about the experience they provide and the facilities are top notch. Im a fan.
Classes are expensive, starting a $99 a month for the first child and reduced to $92 for the second. Make up classes are only scheduled 7-days out, and unpredictable pool closures have left us with makeup classes we have been unable use. Also, family swim times are a part of your membership, but at the added (public) cost of ) $5 per-person or $15 per family (whichever is lower).
