Witt Swamp Preserve

Very nice beginner hike with small rolling hills. Well maintained wooded trails with an amazing amount of foot bridges to get past wet areas.

Very cool trail. I loved the wooden planks and the way the trails were maintained. Very very cool.

This place is AMAZING! Moss, lichens, lycopods, ferns, etc. Nice, well-marked trails. Make sure to wear bug spray or long sleeves/pants.

Great short hike. Awesome in the winter.

Small parking area on Pleasant St. entrance; easy accessibility to trail. A little more than 1 mile around Witt Swamp trail itself however a few hundred steps into it follow snowmachine/walking trail to right which takes you to intersection of Witts End Trail (also access from further down Pleasant St.) and goes around the far end of property to meet up with proper Witts End Trail onto Shepards Farm Famil Preserve, access on Crockett Ridge Road, Norway.
