The service worked amazing for us. We had never booked a band before and i tried calling around myself for information and that was not going anywhere. We visited the site and filled out one form and started to receive quotes from bands. We could easily compare prices and did not have to make any phone calls. I would recommend this to anyone!

Perfect! I was making arrangements for an event in Louisville, Kentucky while I was in Houston and had no idea where to find a DJ for my affair. Fortunately for me I found The Music Concierge! The were so accommodating. They listened to what I wanted and delivered just that. The DJ, Marshall Yancy was perfect! He met with me over the phone and again in person before the event. I stumbled across GigMasters when searching for a Sinatra performer for my husbands surprise party. The site was very easy to use. I requested a quote for one performer I thought I was interested in, but the site also offers the option to receive quotes from 5 additional performers within the same genre. Well Chris Corbin was one of those 5, and when I saw videos of him, I knew he was the one I wanted! If not for that great feature offered by GigMasters, I would never have found him! He was the hit of our party. The whole process, including options for payment were very streamlined and simple, and the guarantees GigMasters offers made me feel very confident in my decision. At first, I was skeptical booking a band I personally havent heard. But to my surprise, the band was amazing! GigMasters has become my go to platform to find a suitable band for my events. I highly recommend the service and find it to be incredibly resourceful and user friendly. Besides, I imagine GigMasters helps generate business for their bands that wouldnt otherwise have the abilty to do their own outreach and marketing.

Omg, I thought I was in Vegas watching this band! They are soooooooo talented! I didn’t want the entertainment to end! Party guests were dancing all night. Connie Wilson and her band aremore talented than “Supremes”! They also, were so accommodating with our schedule. Their attitude was so gracious, as well!

This company is a joke. Do not EVER use them! Whether you want to book through them or are an entertainer thinking of becoming a client. I am an entertainer and signed up for 1 yr. I did not get 1 gig in almost 3 months (found out I was losing to lowballers). Called customer service on 3/12/18 and wanted a refund. Got the old sorry, our policy is no refunds after 30 days. They do NOT care about customer service...only taking your money. The return policy was basically in the fine print. Rep also revealed to me that only 9% of booking requests get booked. Do not waste your money! Contact entertainers directly.

I am an on and off member of GigmastersI know people that do amazing and people who do poorly.If you have many reviews and confirmed bookings you will succeed and if you do not it will be a challenge. My Area, Long Island NY is saturated with great talent and so if you are an average talent without multiple reviews you will likely not succeed. Customer service is wonderful but they are in denial to this fact and all they can recommend is to keep trying and improve the vids and pics. I average one gig every 3 months with Gigmasters but have no trouble booking on my own. :(

Great source of talent!Gigmaster is great for finding that special guest you might need for your event. It was very easy to request quotes and the performers responded immediately with their availability. I needed some information so I called Gigmasters and the staff was so kind and helpful. I had an amazing experience with gig masters as soon as I logged on looking for a pianist I had an immediate response was a nice selection of different srtistd . I read the bios of each one and made a selection and couldn’t have been more pleased the young man was a talented concert pianist agreeing to play Christmas music at our holiday party in our home. He was professional courteous entertaining and talented.. you always worry who is going to come into your home and this was quite a great experience. Our friends are still talking about what a great evening they had with William playing name that tune with Christmas songs. We kept in touch I made sure I had someone for the evening . They made sure that I had the correct pricing dates times and I am a stickler for all of that and I’m very satisfied and can’t say enough about the service I have received . William Perry was our pianist so talented and courteous and fun. He was the highlight of the evening . Our guests are still talking about him! Thank you William!

Hired magician Steven Craig for my sons 6th birthday costume party. He was amazing! Had the kids so engaged and excited through the entire show. He had magic kits and made animal balloons for each kid. Even had us parents laughing and enjoying the show. By far our best costume birthday party yet. I would hire again and refer him.

Was a member for two years as a mobile DJ and never booked one gig. I received several leads, most of them coming from as far as 200 miles away from my location even though I set my preference to 60 miles. I dont find them useful. Ill keep using word of mouth.

Booked a vendor and paid the deposit. After the fact I was told that I needed to supply my own sound system which we didnt have. Called to cancel and was refused a full refund. Be sure you get all the information before you book with them. Very poor customer service

I have been an entertainer with Gigmasters since 2004. Im an Elvis / Neil Diamond tribute artist in the Washington, DC area. Gigmasters has been nothing but great for me. I have, at times, averaged over 140 shows a year, having performed more than 1,600 gigs over the past 14 years (not all with Gigmasters, but a large number of them each year). In my (now advancing) older age, I am becoming more selective of the gigs I bid on (especially in terms of distance traveled). But, a reasonable number of leads still come in each week.When there have been issues, Gigmasters has always been quick to respond and rectify any situations that came up.Another poster touted the virtues of Gig Salad and said they left Gigmasters for them. I was a member of both for awhile, but I dropped Gig Salad when they decided they were going to control all aspects of the money, including not only the deposit, but also collect the balance for me. No thanks.Others said Gigmasters changed owners. If so, I have not seen any evidence of anything different with them. The same great service and bullet-proof website and gig notification system.And, to those who complain about bad experiences with vendors--there are bad apples in everything in life. My suggestion is to do your due diligence and research each vendor thoroughly. Then, select one with 5-stars. They have those 5 stars for a reason. They will make your event memorable. Thank you. Ive been working with GigMasters for 3 years. It was not easy to begin, but now it gives me the main income. Compared to other sites like Thumbtack or WeddingWire, GigMasters provides more gig requests than other sites combined. They have a very serious website with different features for members. Their rules are fair and rates are reasonable. For beginners: dont give up if you just started and didnt get any gig. It takes time to understand how the website works and what you need to do. Work on the quality of your services, do nice videos and photos, call and send emails to your clients (not just messages on GM), be patient and you will succeed.

Website is full of scam artists!!The majority of sellers are companies who show generic work that is not theirs and outsource a cheap inexperienced worker. Don’t fall for it. Yes the service will be delivered but it won’t be what you expected.Update:I left a 5 star review on my vendors gig masters page so the vendor would return half of my deposit and he did.I contacted gig masters about fake vendors several times and they never cared to fix the issues.

I love working with Gigmasters. I have been with them since 2009. Because of Gigmasters and their system, I have been the Number One Tarot Card Reader in the NYC area for over seven years. I have read Tarot at unbelievably beautiful events. Gigmasters will remind you about leads and events. Their feedback requests have given me a 5 star rating. They keep track of all your events online for tax purposes. Setting up your page is easy and you can go in on your own and adjust pictures and your write up anytime. Their online payment system helps the clients and you. The few problems I have had were solved with one phone call or email. Their fees are reasonable. It has been a wonderful experience. I used to get most of my Nashville gigs from GigSalad, but GigMasters moved into this market and have been terrific. Just this week I discovered an excellent video of me playing at a charity event. I asked them to send me the video so I could post it on GigMasters, but they couldnt find it. So today I sent the URL to GigMasters customer support email and they had it up in less than half an hour. I find them trustworthy and reliable. Yes, the requests often are vague or incomplete, so you have to cover all the bases with your customer. I have never had a screw up or cancellation, and everyone has given me five stars. Highly recommend them (unless you are a Nashville jazz pianist, I dont need any more competition.

I couldnt be more disappointed in GigMasters services. We hired Bills Pony Rides for our event and paid $400 in advance for him to bring 4 ponies for our event. He took our money and then didnt show up and didnt provide even a refund. He guy just disappeared. I called GigMasters and they wouldnt even provide his address so I could take this guy to small claims court. All they will provide is his name, phone number and e mail address. What if he did show up and one of his ponies seriously hurt a child? There wouldnt be any way to hold anyone accountable. Bill Tusan wont answer his phone calls or e mails and GigMasters just says they are sorry about that. We had asked Bill Tusan to show proof of insurance and thats when he seemed to flake on us. I never got any proof of insurance either. What upsets me is that GigMasters continues to use this guy! So, if you are looking for a reliable referral, this isnt the place to go.

Dont waste your money!!!!!!! I have started to use gigmaster for more than two months, non of the quotes get booked. And, you wont be able to cancel the membership for the rest. Also, they will automatically renew your membership, and on their website, you can not cancel that too!!!! I am sure they make a lot of money by fraud their members! The worst experience I ever have!!! I have talked to my lawyer to start a case. If there is any members never get booked too, please contact me. It is never too late to protect yourself!

After reviewing my numbers for 2018- 39% of my business comes from Gigmasters, leading with almost $10k in sales. I believe that Gigmasters is the ultimate platform for professionals! As a vendor, you HAVE to utilize their awesome features and dedicate time to personalize each response to client inquiries. Luckily, I am a photographer and it makes my profile visually appealing. I do pay for spotlight to stand out from my oversaturated market- its affordable and worth it. If youre not a photographer and dont have quality photographs or videos of your work- potential leads may not give you a chance. They want to trust you. If youre not responding with personalized messages and taking the time to give the lead what they want- PRICING + CONNECTION- then...its a waste. Gigmasters isnt Thumbtack where they charge for each lead that opens your quote. Gigmasters is not weddingwire or the knot where they hassle vendors to sign up for hundreds of dollars a month to pay for a spot on their site. Gigmasters is unique. affordable. and INCREDIBLE! They arent magicians to send you leads everyday. Thats not the sites responsibility. The leads that are generated are REAL leads interested. So if YOUR profile isnt inviting compared to your competition. Try relooking and innovate :) Need assistance? I can probably help!

OK, I dont know where some of these bad reviews are coming from, but I have used gigmasters for the last 10 years (Riddlesbrood Touring Theatre Company). It is well worth the money. 1] We come up FIRST in google when someone types in our keywords. 2] We book plenty of shows through the leads we get...sure you dont get everyone...but thats up to you and how you quote your leads. Believe me as a business owner, if it didnt work i wouldnt do it! Definitely recommend.

The money I have made through gigmasters has more than paid for my annual subscription. That being said, and I am appalled by the way this company does not look out for its paying clients. Anyone can sign up and do business with entertainers but the entertainers are the ones paying for the account. We all get problem clients from time to time and when they turn their own problems in to spite and leave a nasty review full of misinformation gigmasters will do one thing, reach out to the client on your behalf and ask them to change their mind. If the client refuses to talk to them, your account just sits there inactive because as we all know its very hard to get booking with a negative review, even though its fabricated. When I pay for someone to represent me, or to facilitate an agreement, I expect them to have my back and look out for me. The representatives Ive spoken with over the last couple years Ive always been polite and courteous and Im sure want to do everything in their power to help, but its like talking to a wall because the company refuses to take any action that will turn my experience around. Very disappointed.
