Hands down one of the best (and one of the first in the area) escape rooms. Extremely well thought out rooms that demonstrate clear attempts to be fresh and original. Not the same old boring 6 locks that every other room uses. Actual creativity and adventure!

We had a great experience here. I liked that the waiting room had puzzles to get your brains ready for the experience that youre about to endure. The staff were fantastic and funny. The room we did had a couple of minor annoyances with locks sticking. It only deterred us a short while though. I appreciated some of the puzzles and how they came to life during the escape. There was some thought put into making it fun. We were not disappointed. Having done dozens of escape rooms, this was one of the better experiences. Also, dont get confused by the naming. This place is part of the multiple-location Denver Escape Room when you see the signs out front.

Very challenging, interesting and clever puzzles to solve. The hints were just enough and timely to keep going. This is a very well organized and well managed Escape room. Well done Puzzle Effect!!

Where do I even begin to start?! As a game master on the east coast, I was looking for a great location to play while visiting the Denver area. Puzzle Effect is definitely that location. The Reel is one of the most original and well laid out rooms I’ve done in awhile. I never was bored or annoyed with the room. Great flow, set design, and a total immersive experience. Kudos to Erin for being a phenomenal game master and super easy to talk with after the game. You won’t feel like you’ve wasted money when you leave here!

We had a blast at Puzzle Effect! We signed up for Amnesia and had so much fun that we asked the staff if they had any openings for any other Escape Rooms that day, and they were able to squeeze us in to Knight and Rook. The rooms were both SO much fun and really engaging. The scenarios on both were fun and the puzzles were the perfect level of challenging. I would recommend Puzzle Effect to anyone looking for a great time and an amazing Escape Room experience. The staff were so helpful, super nice, and really engaging as well, even answering my questions about puzzle games afterwards and offering to take our photo. Can not recommend Puzzle Effect enough and will definitely be back for more!

Still our favorite escape room experience! We recently played Rescue and Knight & Rook. The health & safety adaptations did not detract from the experience, and friendly service as ever.

Had such a blast coming here! I did two of the rooms, one was called The Reel and the other was called Rescue. Both rooms were super fun and had really cool puzzles that were outside of the box thinking. My group and I liked how we had to work together, especially in the Rescue room. I would definitely recommend coming here! Thanks for having us!

I don’t even know where to start with how fun this experience was! First, the movie theater theme was brilliantly executed, and game-play was constant and we were busy the entire time. Additionally, Erin was AMAZING!!!! She answered all of our questions during and after the game, and made the experience so much fun!

This was an amazing experience! We did the “Rescue” room and it was so much fun! We somehow escaped with 1:29 to spare! The employees were super friendly and gave us clues that were just enough to get us going but didn’t give too much away! I highly recommend Puzzle Effect and can’t wait to do it again!!

Always enjoy this place. My wife and I have been here several times and the mental stimulation and excitement is always a blast. Staff is very friendly and do a good job monitoring progress to make sure you stay relatively on pace.

My husband went and did one end of September and it was a really great experience. Our game master made everything super clear and fun. Its not too expensive either. Excited to do another room!

My girlfriend and I have done every room that they currently have (but amnesia just cause we need more people lol)! But they are absolutely our favorite place to go, their clues are given to you based on how you’re doing and what you’re actually needing help on! There Hasn’t been a room that we haven’t loved! Between the set ups of the room and how perfectly themed based they are, and the actual game!

Ive been to this location three times now. The first time was a team building event for work. Then I took one of my kids, just the two of us. Then I took the whole family. Needless to say, I am hooked. I have done other escape rooms in the past and the rooms seemed thrown together and almost cheesy. The rooms at Puzzle Effect are solid, well built, and obviously, a lot of thought has gone into the puzzles themselves. The outcomes and goals are clearly explained before each game. As well as an explanation of all the types of locks. With COVID they have put the introductions and explanations on video, which I think helps get the full message across each time. We hope they will be around for a while. The game masters are truly masters at what they do, catering their input based on the desires of the group and the age of the participants as well. The facility is clean and well maintained. I had no concerns about taking my family and will happily return again soon.

We had a little mishap with scheduling and they were amazing and let us do 2 different rooms at no charge. We have done this before and every time we go there they’re amazing. They are professional, clean, always insightful. They know what they are doing. I would highly recommend them. We always have so much fun. I wish I could give them 10 stars!!!

Me and my girlfriend come here a couple times a month, and it is so much fun! Sometimes we need a little help with the puzzles, and the team does an amazing job of helping out at exactly the right time! Highly recommend coming here!

The staff were very friendly. The escape room was well set up and the story was thoughtful. We did the curse of the emerald seas and we had a blast. My 9yo loved it. Definitely worth checking them out!

Great time! Booked a room for my daughter & her friends for her 12th birthday. They had a blast!l Clues were given progressively when the game master noticed they were struggling without giving it away, helped them to figure it out. They didnt escape in time but they didnt care- they loved it. Room decor is great & they are already asking to do another room. Definitely recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Puzzle Effect in Northglenn. The escape room we selected (The Path) was very well thought out with some puzzles that required every person in our group of five to be involved. We will definitely be back.

The rooms here are always well thought out and are very fun. This was the third room we have done there. Keep it up!

I have been to this location multiple times to enjoy their escape room experiences. I have loved every one of their rooms and find myself continuing to return. I recommend this to anyone that loves puzzles, adventure, and brain teasers.

Puzzle Effect is by far the best escape room business Ive been to! My wife and I have loved every room weve solved there so far and the staff is extremely friendly! I would highly recommend this place if someone is looking for a great escape room experience.

The Path was a pretty hard room. Definitely not your typical escape room puzzles. Had to think outside the box on a lot of stuff. There were 5 of us and we split into groups to be able to tackle it all, which was kind of unusual too. The puzzles werent necessarily linear. Great experience and would recommend for anyone who likes escape rooms!

We had a wonderful time! They were able to get us in early and the puzzles were well put together.

Weve done all the rooms that are currently at Puzzle Effects (and a couple that have been retired), and always find the games engaging, challenging and fun. The sets are interesting, puzzles are complex and the gamesmasters are always great at providing clues just when you need them (and not when you dont). Well definitely be back!

Love the puzzles and the staff. Some of the rooms have funky clues, but all the more challenging! I go here every time I visit Denver and I think Ive done all of the rooms in this location.

We came to Puzzle Effect with our company team and had an amazing day. The advantages of gaining insight about teamwork were very helpful and the lessons we learned we still use today. While it was helpful for us as a growing company, it happens to be a hell of a lot of fun too. Everyone had a fun time, its true its addicting! I would strongly recommend for both team building workshops and for those who just want to have fun.

This was my first experience with an escape room. It was so fun, interesting, and challenging. I will definitely do it again. Staff was helpful, professional, and made the room even more enjoyable with the appropriate level of hints. Great Job!

The online Amnesia room was so much fun! My daughter, Taylor, and I played and it was a challenging, exciting and rewarding! We laughed and we were pleasantly surprised numerous times. Thank you for a fun experience!!

The puzzle room was great. An interesting twist is that the staff decides when to give you clues in the room versus you requesting them from the staff. The cursed emerald was a great time!

Weve come back here several times, and each time we have an amazing time. The staff is always very kind and professional. Theyre clean & the perfect amount of helpful when we get stumped.

This place is amazing! This was my first escape room experience and the quality of it was incredible. I can’t wait to come back to see their new rooms!

Great escape room. Challenging mix of locks and technology. Actually felt like a pirate ship. Will definitely be back to do the other rooms!

Its a very good escape room. We did the amnesia room. This was very challenging and engaging. The staff was good about explaining all the different rules and then were very helpful if we were stuck on a puzzle for way too long. All in all it was a great experience. Its good for groups

As an avid escape room goer (mainly in NY), Puzzle Effect is top 1 or 2 of my favorite escape room venues ever. Ive been in three rooms here so far and all of them have consistently been fun and challenging! One of rooms, amnesia, required your team to start off in separate rooms which was super unique! With thought-provoking puzzles and super friendly staff, this place makes u want to come back for more .

My two adult sons and I had a great time together! The puzzles were challenging, but solvable and very creative. Staff was friendly, helpful, and well organized. We received a few more clues a little sooner than we would have liked so we would have preferred a system where we could ask for help instead of having it offered as frequently, but all in all it was a really enjoyable time.

The most fun weve had in a long time...Well be back for sure!!!

One of the best escape room places I have ever been to... And Ive been to a lot! The people are especially delightful. ️

My husband and I took our granddaughter and her friend who are 12 years old. It was our first experience in an Escape Room and all had fun. I am impressed with the imagination that goes into creating these rooms. We will definitely go back!

I go to Denver Escape Room a lot, at least 2-3 times each year if I can manage it. This was where I did my first escape room back in 2015, and I love recommending this business to everyone. It’s dope. The Amnesia escape room was super hard, but I was with some friends so we worked together to tackle the challenge and we managed to escape. The staff at Denver Escape Room are great, helpful, informative, and just chill people. 10/10 will visit this place again.

What a fun activity. This was my first escape room and I will absolutely do it again! We had a group of friends and family ranging from 12 to 45 years old and the room provided enough challenge for every one of us. Its a great social experiment to see how people behave when under this type of pressure. The Puzzle Effect staff was fun friendly and helpful, and we will definitely visit again!

Love this place! Their games are great and unique! I love coming here!

This was so fun! We made reservations online for a group of 4. We signed the required waivers, waited about 10 minutes before our room was ready, and were off to the races! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful when we got stuck. They have several themed rooms available, so you can pick whatever adventure you want!

Grim Stacks is my favorite room here! Its really fun and well done, and I wish I could play it again for the first time. The staff is really friendly, and they helped make the experience a lot of fun! Thank you!

My son really had his mind set on a pirate themed escape room to celebrate his birthday with some family friends. We live on the opposite side of town, but we all agreed that it was worth the long drive. We have some experience with escape rooms, though we arent experts... About 5 experiences for most of us... And we found Curse On the Emerald Seas to be challenging, but not to the level of frustration. The staff was helpful, attentive and fun. She have us the overview efficiently, and got us right into the game. It was a great birthday experience, and we would be happy to try their other rooms. Definitely recommended!

Puzzle Effect is rad. Ive done 3 different rooms and never had a bad experience. They have some really creative puzzles and locks, and the variety lets everyone contribute since everyones strengths differ (or at least thats been my experience). Price is pretty fair for an hour of engaging, interactive entertainment. Would absolutely go back and recommend to anyone looking for a fun small group activity!

The Path and Grim Stacks are both fun rooms with great production value and interesting varieties of puzzles. The staff are friendly and appropriately helpful. The rooms weve played have been fairly linear, but with enough going on to keep 6 players occupied most of the time, but Id still guess there would be more fun with 3 or 4.

Had a great experience. Have done many rooms and enjoyed this one as much as any others. There was a small problem with the room but the eye in the sky caught it and fixed it right away and provided us with unexpected gift cards for the inconvenience. Cant wait to try the other rooms when I am back in town.

Really well done, detailed rooms. Tons of fun and just the right amount of hints when needed! I highly suggest this escape room business. Both of the rooms I’ve done there have been way better than other escape rooms in the Denver area.

The escape room experience was a ton of fun - and satisfying. The scenario was engaging and the setup professional. Their approach to detecting when you need a clue and providing it was the best Ive seen. A great experience overall.

Employees were very nice, place was a bit hidden in an office park. Once inside the place was clean and organized. Escape room was well designed, challenging and fun. Clues were given via a video screen. They also sell merch and some puzzle games.

Me and my group did all 6 rooms here and enjoyed each one! The staff were all very friendly, helpful, and always on point with hints. Also unlike some other Escape Rooms weve been to they actually gave us extra time when technical issues happened.

We had a great time doing Grim Stacks at The Puzzle Effect! Kyle, our puzzle master, was so friendly and fun and the room was very well done. Ive been to a couple of Puzzle Effect locations and they are consistently great. I cant wait to come back and do some of the rooms we peaked at on our way out.

We had a great time at Puzzle Effect! The staff is friendly and helpful. We have been here many times and will definitely come back many more! Thanks for the fun and awesome experience!

Loved this place ... we had a ton of fun. The staff is great, we needed to change the day we went last min due to sickness and they were really accommodating. We had never done it before but it was fun and they give you clues if you get stuck. We had 6 people and the room fit us all okay... this is something 1-2 people could easily do for date nights. We will be back!

Challenging puzzles combined with a great staff makes for a great time. Definitely going again.

We’re Big escape room fans and the Curse did not disappoint! Excellent setup and flow between the puzzles. We had a variety of ages and escape room experience in our group and everyone had a memorable time. Can’t wait to try out the other rooms at this place!!

I gave gift certificates, for Christmas, to the Puzzle Effect and we had the best time! The staff was wonderful, fun and courteous! The escape room was crazy fun! The boys, and us two moms, laughed, scratched our heads, pondered, and finally solved the puzzle! Cant wait till we can do it again! Thanks for a great time!!

What a well run adventure!Very challenging. Major think and communicate between team members to get it figured out. We got it done with four minutes to spare.

The escape room my friends and I completed at Puzzle Effect-Denver was so much fun! The room was well designed, Clues were helpful, staff was professional and encouraging. It was a great experience and Im sure Ill be back!!

Love the rooms and the staff is awesome.

We took our 2, 6, 8, and 10 year olds. They had a blast and asked to do another room right away! It can be challenging and there are different rooms for different party sizes and skill levels. This was our 2nd room here with the kids. We will definitely be coming back. The staff are quick, helpful, and do a great job monitoring. So glad they’re close by!

Super fun and a very unforgettable experience. Very clean and mysterious. Highly recommended. You wont regret going here the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I have been here twice and both times were a complete blast! The first time there were 12 of us that did pipe works for a bachelorette party which is fantastic for a large group! Especially good for teambuilding I am guessing as well. The second time I was here we did Knight & Rook and what a great date night! Highly recommended!!!!

ALWAYS an amazing time!! Weve done 4 of their rooms (Crimson Tide, Grimm Stacks, The Path, and last night Amnesia) - all 4 were a blast! I was REALLY impressed last night when the worker paused the game and came into the room saying You got the answer to that puzzle correct - the device malfunctioned. He fixed the device, and we continued. I would have been fairly put out if we had lost because of a malfunction (which did happen to me once at a different escape room). This is hands down my favorite place - and I will play every new room they come out with!! ALWAYS A BLAST - Thanks D.E.R.

Always a great time! Rooms change often enough to keep it interesting. We were late due to car issues and they were able to work with us and get us in/ good customer service.

We have done escape rooms both in Colorado as well as out of state, but I have to say that the Amnesia room at Denver Escape was one the best. It was definitely challenging, but we escaped with 11 seconds to spare!!! Our team of 8 did an amazing job solving the puzzles and clues. The room was put together very well and the game master did a great job of guiding us along the way. We really had to think and work together. It was the perfect activity for our family and friends. We will definitely go back and do another room.

Casual, smooth and challenging! Always a good time

Always an awesome time, even when we argue in the rooms! I’ve tried other escape rooms but this place is by far my favorite. Every time we go in we’re greeted quickly and the staff always in a good, upbeat mood. We usually make it a family date and my 11 year old son has a blast. I love watching him solve the puzzles. We look forward to the new rooms that are added periodically. We’ll be back soon for sure!

Took my daughter for her 13th birthday. We all had a great time. The gentleman helping us out was polite, answered our questions and helped us pick a great room for our first time. We will be back!

This was our second room we have tried and did escape from. We love the brain racking challenges we have to face to keep moving on. We have done these rooms for birthday parties and love every timed minute of it. We would highly recommend any and everyone to give it a go.

My husband, 15 yr. old granddaughter and I did the Amnesia room. It was a blast!! A must do!!

Did the Path room and it was okay. We had 6 people with us and that was way too many for that room. You can only do one step at a time and most places werent large enough for all the people to even see, let alone participate in.It would have been good for a group of 3 or less.

Great room-did The Path; good details; This one was more of a mental puzzle than a physical one. Professional and polite staff; well-organized and clean. We would definitely return.

We did “The Path” room and was super happy with it! The room was well setup. Really nice objects and well staged. One of the best escape room we’ve done so far! Highly recommended!!!

A group of friends and I did the Amnesia Escape Room and it was incredibly fun! The entire room is set up for the puzzle and very well done. The guys who work there are incredibly nice and made the whole experience that much better. I will definitely be back to try the other rooms, especially with a good group of people.

This was my second time, and again, it was a blast. Theres no word to describe the excitement and fun it has. Team building, bonding. And a LOT of thinking together. Ill come back here again, soon.

Erin was great. I had to call twice before the booking time for questions & she was so nice and helpful. When we got there, everyone was super friendly even though we were late and stayed a little too long. Everyone had a great time & would definitely come back to try another room!

Puzzle Effect has wonderfully designed, unique and challenging puzzles that are solvable but definitely test your ability. Have done two of their rooms, and both were intricate and fun! Will be back!

Fun time. Professional and clean fun

Excellent puzzle design, great visual design, and a staff that give you perfect hints that aren’t too much. I’ve done two escape rooms with Puzzle Effect (the now defunct Rampancy and a pirate themed one) and they are my favorite escape rooms that I have done.Go there!

Great experience! We did the Curse room, very challenging at times, but their hint system was awesome! Thanks for an awesome night! We will be back to try other rooms here!

Love Puzzle Effect! Very nice rooms with a great feel and fun puzzles. Well go back as soon as theres a new room to play.

We had the entire family there for Christmas fun. Grandparents, Parents and Teens, 9 total. We played as 2 teams and had so much fun. Highly recommend!

My husband and I did escape rooms for our honeymoon. These are very high quality rooms with lots of good puzzles. We loved Curse on the Emerald Sea along with Grim Stacks. We will definently be back for new rooms! Also they sell Exit the Game games here, which we love!! Thank you for the awesome time, Denver Escape Room!

Weve been to a few other escape rooms, but honestly, this was the overall best experience. It was so well designed and simply the most fun! Will definitely go back!

My family and I have done 5 escape rooms here and we keep coming back. They are so much fun and a great teamwork experience. I highly recommend these escape rooms.

We had a blast at Denver Escape Rooms. We played the “Amnesia” room and it was by far my favorite Escape Room I’ve done. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was challenging and had lots of variety in types of puzzles and clues. We will definitely be going back to try other rooms!

My wife and love this place. The staff are great and the rooms are fun and interesting. Highly recommend!

This was a great experience! Will definitely do it again! Great staff! They were all nice and helpful!

Great family outing. We did one of the beginner rooms and it was still pretty tough and thought provoking. Fun time! The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Such a fun and engaging group activity. Our game master was perfect with letting us struggle and helping with occasional clues. Definitely a professional company with great rooms!!

Lots of fun! Its an interesting and challenging time with friends. Make sure everyone is willing to help/try/go for it or you wont make it out.

It was our first time going and man it was amazing it was fun and the staff is awesome very friendly and we escaped lol definitely will be going back

Great rooms! Very detailed and well maintained, friendly staff, great date spot. I highly recommend.

The Puzzle Effect was great! This is my first escape room experience, but it was fun, they accommodated our party of 12 (with our kiddos) and they seemed to really enjoy their job along with the challenge of helping us have a good time!

I’d consider myself a veteran of escape rooms at this point. I quite enjoyed the puzzle construction at this establishment! Engaging, clever, and not too easy at all. Unbelievably pleasant staff! I will return based on service alone...the rooms were definitely worthy of a repeat visit too!

This was my first room escape but my husband’s third. We both agreed that is was awesome and we bought gift cards so we already have an excuse to come back! My 17 year old was really into it too!!

This was my first escape room. The staff was super helpful in recommending a room for us, and I loved that they won’t add strangers to your group So you can just do it with people you know. I can’t wait to go back!

They were my first experience with an escape room and it was extremely fun! The puzzles were really well thought out and I loved the emersive props

We had the bad luck to be on the way to this room as a blizzard was forming; our twenty minute buffer for drive time rapidly evaporated. The staff was super understanding and accommodating, and made it clear that our safety on the roads was important - we made it in, and enjoyed the room.We had two first-time escape room people in our group of five, which was probably for the best - the room we had (pirate themed) was easier than I would have liked. They get major points for how cohesively themed the room is, and how much work was put into it, but I cant give them full marks without feeling challenged or pressured by the room.Great use of sound, light, props. Great service. Great team. Just maybe ideal for people trying out their first room, or who in general dont go crazy on escape rooms.-EDIT- The owners very graciously got in touch thanking us for the review, and inviting us to try one of their other rooms - they had at that point phased out the room we had tried, and wanted us to try one of their more challenging ones. We werent able to take them up on it (too far of a drive!) but Im bumping the review up to five stars to reflect the continued pattern of excellent service & customer interaction.
