This was by far my least favorite of the 4 escape rooms I have played. With other rooms my wife and I have gotten into a flow, where solving one piece of the puzzle logically segues into the next. The design of the Northglenn Star Wars room felt very choppy. We have played harder rooms than this, but in those cases even when we struggled with something there was an internal logic to it. With this room we needed clues much earlier, and when we were given them, we didnt feel like there was the same sense of logic to the room design. Certain parts of the room were also faded and thus difficult to solve. Another part of the room demanded finding a light that had turned on, but it was not bright enough to notice that something had changed. Austin was a great host, but he also seemed to be the only one on staff, which meant he wasnt with us the whole time as weve experienced in other rooms. This meant occasionally waiting for a while when we asked for clues, or having to explain to him what we had done when he was giving a clue. Overall the place felt a little run down, and the room not well thought out. I would recommend seeking other rooms in the Denver area before this one.

We did the Jurassic Escape and this was one of the more difficult escape rooms we encountered recently but it was still a ton of fun for my family to attempt. It took us 55 minutes but we did it and had fun, the hints in room were a little vague sometimes and there seemed to also be other information around the room that wasnt useful to solving the puzzle which makes you look at everything a little more closely. Overall a great place for family and fun.

We had an amazing time at the Northglenn Colorado Escape. We did the Jurassic Park escape room and it was a blast. Not only were the props and clues amazing but the gentleman working that night was great! Austin made the escape room even more fun by giving us a few free clues when we were struggling, did a great job at explaining the rules and just had overall amazing customer service. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

This place is great! I have done 2 escape rooms here and I have loved them. They are challenging and fun. 4 people is easier than 2 because with 2 it might be hard to see some of the clues when 2 people have to turn nobs and look around but its still fun!

We had such a great time here! We did kidnapped, it was very creepy and the puzzles were so much fun! The staff was so friendly! The girl who helped us, long hair with glasses, was so awesome! She let us do another room (Temple of doom) because there was no reservation, for a discounted price! Second room was just as fun, with trap doors and fun puzzles. All around great experience, I will be back soon for sure!

Denver Location- The experience was okay. Our room was not reset correctly, so sadly we were finding clues out of order and it wasnt making much sense prompting us to need many clues. Were told a new person was being trained - we were offered a redo date which we gladly took from the Manager. It was just a shame as we were celebrating a birthday and we have childcare that needs to arranged to go out. We have been to the Northglenn location and were pleased.

Although the facility is a little hard to find it was worth the discovery. The staff members there are funny and very informative. The rooms were well constructed and really difficult. The facilities members have some very unique rules regarding revealing clues that encourage team work (loved this!)Recommend this facility to anyone seeking something new and fun to do.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place! We were running late for our booking, they let us arrive almost 20 minutes late, and closed late for us so we could finish our room escape. Nice staff, but the rooms are rather poorly themed and the puzzles are lacking. This might be good as a first escape room experience, but repeat puzzlers will not get their money’s worth. Went with friends a few months ago and we solved the room in about half an hour - disappointing.

A super fun and interactive experience for friends and family. The employees are helpful if you get stumped. The rooms are interesting. Solving clues together with my family was a blast we disagreed, laughed, searched, and achieved together. It is a nice teamwork building exercise. You really learn how to work together/ compromise while solving a fun mystery; escaping the room!

I had to reluctantly give them 1 star because 0 was not an option. The staff was extremely rude from the minute we booked, or attempted to book, on the phone to when we were greeted to when we left. The staff was continually sniping at our guests that were waiting in the lobby for their kids during a birthday party. The clerk communicated to the parents waiting that they needed to leave because another group was coming in even though it appeared to be a waiting room. When one of the moms replied that she would wait since her son was in the escape room she replied that the manager will be there soon and probably kick everyone out. Who says that? Literally every 5 minutes she was saying something to our parent group or sniping at the kids in the escape room and again being rude. It literally never ended. The real escape room here is literally the lobby. Oh yea, they don’t take a credit card at the physical location. Wonder where that cash goes.

I have to say this one is not the best. Our room was cheaply decorated and the puzzles didnt make much sense, some of the things unlocked are not needed and a waste of time. My group of friends loved it here. Weve been to several escape the room type places and this one was my favorite, by far. Our experience was pretty immersive and it was definitely unique. I read all the reviews here and honestly not sure which one is Amber. Our 1st time in Sept, the girl with short hair helped us out and she was great. Today we had a girl with long blonde hair helped us out, and she was great too. We never experienced rude staff issues there and always had fun. Yes, the place is hard to find and it does seem like a run-down building. We still had tons of fun once were in the room. This place is so much more cheaper than the other places we looked at. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

One of the girls who worked here was great, helpful, enthusiastic and nice (nose ring?), The other was not as nice (really short hair?) But to be fair we did arrive late. Dont try and call (theyre busy watching the rooms and I guess thats good), all the rooms are for 6 people - so youll be grouped if you come with less. Get there early, kinda hard to find as its only marked on one side of the building - look at the pictures on here first of the building before going.

WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!I have been to several escape rooms with several different companies and I cannot believe the unprofessional, extraordinarily rude employee that we were greeted with. Her name is AMBER, and from the second that we walked in, she seemed inconvenienced to be a work, and extremely annoyed with the group that was in the room while we were waiting. Seriously... you just asked for a clue... Her tone, her demeanor, everything about her was off-putting. Minutes into the game, someone accidentally touched something they shouldnt have, and she instantly came in and began scolding the person for it. They apologized for it. A few minutes after that, we solved a clue out of order, she came back in and told us that we shouldnt just be guessing and that we didnt listen to the instructions because we didnt go through a specific door. She said we were 6 steps ahead of where we needed to be, took that key, locked it back up and said our clues were in the other room. One of the cheap props came apart using it, she came in Well that really sucks that you guys broke that.... we explained it was broken when we tried using it.. Well that sucks that its broken like that. After we opened a few other clues, we again went back to the lock we originally opened. Using the same logic, we opened it again. She came in again and with attitude started questioning how I was doing it. She rudely told me that I cant just guess, but wouldnt let me explain how I solved it. She went on to explain that I was wrong and that we werent completing it the way it was meant to be solved. By this point, all 5 of us in our group (2 which we didnt know) were tired of being harassed and started voicing our disapproval of how we were being treated. Our whole group left 23 minutes into the escape. Biggest waste of money I have ever spent. Stay away at all costs and hopefully they fire Amber. Obviously customer service is not a staple at this location.

We did the Jurassic Park themed room(s) and it was great. A little tense during the experience (ok, maybe a lot, lol!), but weve talked about, shared, and thought about the experience for waaay longer than the hour we were trapped. Thats one thing to consider when taking a family and seeing the price tag, -- youll talk about this for YEARS, its like the ultimate team-building exercise because of how fun and rewarding it is. If you DO take the kiddos, dont be afraid of the hints, ;) -- let em win.

The young lady I spoke with today, believe her name was Amber was very rude and had a nasty ass tone in her voice. I bought my room on Groupon and was unable to attend today due to personal issues. I’ve rescheduled before with no issue nor problems at all, Ms. Amber wanted to charge me $25 to reschedule. So why didn’t I have to pay that amount when I rescheduled the first time?! Same time I called today was around the same time I called before, but all of a sudden there’s a fee. Which honestly I had no problem paying. But her nasty ass tone made me think otherwise. At the end of the day I paid for a room I will never get to experience. I read the reviews prior to getting the room, but decided to give this place a try anyways. Lesson learned. Money lost and now I see why people have left reviews on the employees. This location is in Northglenn off of Melody.... so then you have that same employee I just had issues with call me to “make things right” again with her funky attitude. She’s got a problem I left a review, not my issue. You should’ve came correct the first time. And you came even worse the second, first step in customer service LISTEN to the customer. Not speak over them, nor continuously repeat yourself rather than really trying to help to fix the issue. Instead you’ve got every excuse in the world. But you want to argue about a review, I’m glad I cancelled this room. Let your “owner” read that.

I did the kidnapped room this past weekend. While it was challenging, it was mostly due to how confusing the puzzles were organized. The flow was clunky and it felt a bit repetitive, since most of it was opening locks. I have done about a dozen Escape rooms so far, and this was the least fun. Low production value, and not as immersive as it could be.WARNING: if you ask for a clue in game, instead of giving you a hint, they tell you how to finish the current puzzle youre working on. If you enjoy solving puzzles on your own, be wary of this.

J
Review №74

We visited the Denver location and played the Prison Escape Room.Id call myself an escape room enthusiast. Ive done nearly 50 rooms across the globe, and this was one of the worst. The room had at least 3 completely separate reset errors (something not locked that should have been, something not in the right place when it it HAD to be, or something downright missing). The decor was well below industry standard, with many of the props falling apart or working sporadically, wall paper stuck to the wall with packing tape, unfinished construction materials to name a few. Realism was pretty much zero. The puzzles themselves were ok, apart from all the miscues caused by a bad reset, which werent addressed in a useful way (they slid the missing parts under the door with no explanation or notification, so they went unnoticed for a few minutes until we happened to spot them by chance). A couple of the puzzles could be solved out of order because you could see clues that were not supposed to be visible (bad game design). The employees appeared to be teenagers, we didnt see anyone that looked like a manager on site.We did get this room on a Groupon, so the cost was fairly low, but I wouldnt go back even at the discounted rate. All in all a let down, just spend the few extra bucks and go to a better business.

We enjoyed places like Puzzah or Escape Works Denver, but this place was a complete Joke. Never have i experience such rudeness and disrespectful behavior from staff at any escape room co. that i have visited. Amber was an awful employee that made us not want to try their rooms after the first 2 minutes we were there. Dont recommend this place at all 0 out of 10. Great family fun! My wife planned this surprise for our kids and visiting parents and she opted to sit out so the eight (max in a room) of us could do it. That morning, I Googled and saw some bad reviews and I became anxious thinking wed were about to waste time and money. I decided to remain open-minded and learning from the previous comments, arrived early and listened to the instructions on locks. We did the Temple of Doom - our first escape room and I wanted to be sure it challenged us. We arrived 20 minutes early - we read, respected, and followed the directions. Amber was AWESOME at teaching us what we needed to know about the locks and even during our escape. She made sure we all had a great time. I was resistant to hints because I really wanted to let the kids test themselves, but Amber knew the pace for a fun experience and made sure we didnt miss out. In retrospect, I really appreciated her few nudges/reminders.The experience was very well done, very clever and tricky. One opening really surprised us with the ingenuity and execution. This was a great first escape for us and we talked about it most of the day afterwards. This experience really surprised my parents and it challenged the kids - that is exactly what we were looking for. Well done Amber and thanks for creating a fun experience for us.Added note, as a small business owner, I could easily read into the no touch stickers and instructions about using brain over brawn. Its clear from that and from previous comments/reviews that some people come in rowdy and, in the absence of patience and wit, decide to start pulling and overturning props. Which does nothing but increase overhead costs and delays a great experience for the next group in. Its a common sense thing - its a wit challenge, respect the room. No touch simply means, there are many witty obstacles hidden in this room - this isnt one of them.

Not well themed and lack of creativity. Save your money and go elsewhere. All you do is looking for 3 digit combinations then enter it in a lock....28 times. We did the temple one and were very disappointed. No boobytraps, the room was falling apart, and most of the props were broken. The staff was also rude to us for touching one of the 100+ items with a do NoT touch sticker in the room. You can also hear people through the walls in other rooms. I give this room a 2 out of 10 stars.
