Super comfortably and extremely reasonably price. The recliners are great, the popcorn always fresh, and $5 movies on Tuesdays!I love the reserved seating because it means that you can be a few minutes late and wont be forced to sit in the front row of the theater.

First time here are this AMC, and Ive been to a lot of them. I liked the food and bar option. I liked the option of having it delivered to your seat in the theater while your watching commercials or even watching the movie. It was pretty cool. Ive been wanting to go to a theater that had a lot of these options. Service was good and so was the staff. Theres usually a line for condiments but they handled it pretty well. Food was good and so were the drinks. I will definitely be visiting this place more often.

This theater isn’t that great. Ticket prices seem to be the same as other AMC Theaters in the area, so I’ll go to them instead.The doors directly behind the ticket kiosks are exit only (or at least they’re locked) but there is no sign saying they’re exit only.There are not any useful signs saying theaters 7+ are upstairs. After my movie was over I spent time specifically looking for these signs because I didn’t see any on my way in. There is a small (and easy to miss) sign by the ticket counter and another sign by the elevator. However, the elevator is out of the way. Furthermore, if I had trouble finding these signs while specifically looking for them when the theater was practically empty, how hard is it going to be to see on a busy night?The food prices are more expensive than other dine-in theaters I’ve been to. $10 for a milkshake?!The seats are not very good. You can’t get the table completely out of the way. At other dine-in theaters the tables can be put farther out of the way. More annoying is that all of the seats lean. I’ve been to other theaters with similar types of seats where the armrest will swing up so couples can get closer to each other, but that lean would still be annoying for couples because you always feel like you’re sliding. I’m sure it’ll be extra uncomfortable on a packed opening night when you don’t know the person next to you. (I’ve included pictures of the seats with this review to show what I’m talking about.)

Come here fairly often, nice employees, comfortable recliner seating, good sound and picture. Foods a little to pricey so only occasionly get popcorn.

Love love this Theater. The fact that their seats are comfortable and have trays.. Best part, it is clean!!! The staff at the concession counter is excellent. Especially, this one lady who appears to be a manager is very polite.. really like her when she is working there...

Ordered p pretzels before the coming attractions. Man behind the counter told me the pretzels would be delivered to my seat. I showed the man behind the counter my tickets to make sure he brought them to the right seat. 10 minutes after the movie started no pretzels. Went down and asked where my pretzels were. I was told the order was just sent upstairs and would be right there. I went back upstairs no pretzels. I waited 25 more minutes. Went back downstairs and asked for my pretzels. They gave them to me at that point. I missed 20 minutes in the movie.

The quality nachos, baby! Though I do miss the CMX mints after a movie. AMC also has the better popcorn.

Its a similar dine-in experience to other AMC theaters. Their ticket prices are reasonable, but their food prices are higher than other AMC theaters, and the theaters are smaller. The service is friendly, and the mall provides plenty of parking.

The theater is in good quality. Everything works and the seats work but the theater is starting to show its age. Most of the screens I have been in seem very small but the sound and picture quality is great. My other gripe is the food price. We all know theaters are expensive but with extra charges on top of the price and tax seem to add up way too fast. I am an AMC A list so I will continue to come here and see if this theater gets better. I hope to knock this up to a 5 star review one day.

My boyfriend and I came here last weekend on a Saturday night because it was the closest theater from where we live and it was our first time coming here. The place was very dirty and the popcorns are all over the floor. I ordered an Asian steak bowl and shrimp, five minutes later I started scratching all over my body I ended up having hives. I barely get sick and I dont have any allergies. Something about this place that got me sick. Never coming back again! What a bad experience!!

A truly great place to watch movies. But their prices for alcohol are crazy, $14 for a glass of wine that sells in the store for $14 a bottle! Definitely BYOB.

Nice theater and most of the time it is clean. There has been times where the seats may be dirty and the popcorn doesnt taste fresh. One star taken away from that, but not a reason to turn away from visiting the theater.

This is a great big AMC with full sized recliners. Lots of room and great views from the seats.

Enjoyed our girls day out with my granddaughter, daughter and two cousins at Little Women.

Great place to see movies. The seats are comfortable and lean back. The tables are big to fit your food and drink. They have a diverse menu that includes your routine movie staples and good appetizers, main courses and desserts. They have a bar as well. My one complaint is cleanliness. They could do a much better job cleaning the seats and tables. We bring wipes to clean everything as they can be quite dirty.

Tuesdays are a great deal if you register with AMC it is only like six bucks for a ticket and they have recliner seats.

Well maintained AMC. Typically clean bathrooms. Seats are wearing out some (leaning towards the middle of the pair).The expanded offerings of the dine-in are enjoyable - I like the bacon chicken mac and the chocolate milkshake (vanilla ice cream with chocolate blended in plus a large fudge brownie perched on top.)

Inexperienced staff, restrooms were filthy. I arrived at 8pm and went to the bar to get a drink before my show began. The bartender told me that she can give me a beer or wine but thats it because she just melted down all of her ice. To my knowledge the bar was still supposed to be open, and I didnt want beer or wine, I wanted a cocktail. So I asked her to get ice from the concession area, which was like 10 steps away. I was in shock that she didnt want to do her job and make me a drink.On top of that the restrooms were filthy. I did enjoy the reclining seats.

I came here thinking it was dine in. Get to my seat there’s no menus my movie was for 10:10 tried ordering at the register by the time I got there there was no possible way for us to purchase anything they said the kitchen is closed but we could’ve gotten popcorn at the very least. I spoke to the manager Colin and had to wait for 20 mins for anything to be solved. Sad and confused.

It was great to be able to have dinner with the movie! Pepperoni pizza was delicious as was the combination of appetizers. Only complaint is that the chicken tenders were burnt... Other than that - it was awesome!

Great comfort the seats they serve are really comfortable the nachos were really good and it wasn’t crowded really good movie theater. Wish I could go there again with family/friends we had a good time.

The seats are comfortable, there is good amount of theaters (I think 14) but its confusing. Not really plus size friendly when sitting down and getting passed the trays. The food delivery is fast and discrete. The bathroom are disgusting. It really need someone to clean them on a regular bases. Another problem is they only show most movies once in a day, at least in sundays. I did not try another day. I went to see angry birds friendemies at the first showing 12 noon. We were informed the movie is sold out would and they only show it once. Only other kid friendly movie was lion king at 2:30. That also only showed once so we waited 2.5hours. The staff was friendly, only had one issue. The person who took our ticket rip the theatre number off so when I asked which is our theatre he said its upstairs thats all and there is a lot if rooms and two sections. My children and I were tired and a little frustrated. Other than that good movie, good company, nice service. Will go there again but use the bathroom before arriving.

This is my go to place for watching movies because it is the nearest AMC with reclining seats. I have been going here for 6 months now and never had any issues. It is clean, comfortable, safe and the staff are friendly.

Food is kind of pricey, but it’s definitely worth going to see a movie if u want to relax and have a good meal.

The food is much better than the standard movie theater fare. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger which was tasty. For the price they could have added on a bit larger portion of fries. All in all decent for a movie theater.

The food was a little expensive, but not bad

This was one of the worst experiences I have had at a theater. We picked coming to this specific location because of the website selling me on being able to do essentially the same things as going to IPic or a Star Cinema Grille. That information in mind, the website wasnt forthcoming with the full truth. You dont get served seat-side, you place your order at the bar and then they will bring everything out to you; which doesnt make a lot of sense, but okay. I could live with that. However, it is a detraction when most of your items are out of stock, and being that I spent most of the previews trying to figure out how to order (again, expecting being able to at the seat as the website implies) by the time I was able to flag down the one gal who was working there, the movie was about to start. Again, okay, fine. I could live with these lessons for next time - I thought... Until it started to become really clear how badly the theater was dirty. The seats were sticky, nothing felt like it had been cleaned in years, and everything was really off the more I paid attention to my surroundings. To add another point to this, after the movie, I had to make a quick stop at the restroom, and - well - I had to assemble my own lock on the bathroom stall; there were also flies covering the sink in the handicap accessible stall.I will not be back to this theater, and I cant see myself ever recommending this theater to anyone. If it wasnt for really wanting to see the movie, and every other comparable theater being completely sold out; I wouldve walked out. The only thing that went right was that my brothers food was good; but if the rest of the theater was an indication, I doubt I would want to know the conditions the kitchen was in.

I gave this a three star because half of the experience was good and half was bad. The good part was that I saw detective pikatchu with friends and movie was good and the front end staff was very friendly. The bad half was that we ordered two burgers, one for each seat, and when the burgers arrived, the waiter gave both of the orders on one seat, which we didn’t know which burger was which until we took a bite which was too late by then. I’m saying that the waiters need to take their jobs more seriously and look at which burger should be a which seat!!!

Sometimes the staff is lost in their teenage conversations so it decreases the level of good customer service, but it doesnt stop me from going. Thankfully when there is a complaint management handles it well.

Friend and I go to Northbrook Court to see a variety of movies. We like to lean back seats and the peacefulness inside the movies. We have never ordered food in Northbrook Court. We select the movie so we know we like it. And as I said before the seats are comfortable.

I’m very upset with the staff, especially one member who did not take me and my friends seriously. We went to go see a rated r movie and one of my friends forgot her ID, so we had to return our tickets. The guy who was returning our tickets was very unorganized and literally had us standing there for 30 minutes!! And we were late for the other movie we were going to see thanks to him, not only that but he was getting snappy at us even though we didn’t do anything wrong. Also when he was putting money back on the cards, I never got to swipe my card and I had told him that, and he said “oh well, there’s three charges on the receipt” very rude and I checked my card balances on the app and I never got the refund!! Because of his rude attitude I didn’t want to talk to him because I felt uncomfortable but I hope he does not treat any other customers like this! I also am very upset that I got ripped off, never happening again not going to this theater!

The seats are great. Very comfortable(so comfortable just be careful you dont fall asleep). The admission is more than fair, especially if you go before noon and during the week. The selection of food is terrific. However, the food is priced way too high and the theatres, because of the reclining seats, are limited in capacity. If you go during an off-time(as I said, during the week or early), theres no problem. In fact Ive gotten private screenings(no one else in the auditorium). However, if there is a popular movie that people want to see on Friday or Saturday nights, forget it. They sell out in a flash. I think one of the auditoriums seats 73 people. Not enough. Overall, though, a great movie-going experience.

The layout of the theater was very nice, chairs were fantastic, and the help was great.... the cleanliness was one of the worst Ive seen! If I was the owner Id be embarrassed.

I had a bad experience at this theatre. Coming into the theatre I didn’t know for dine in you had to order at the concession stand I was Thinking you can order at your seat. I was at a amc dine in before at Atlanta where you placed order at your seat so that was disappointing that you had to wait in line to order. My wife and I was ordering an the person taking our order was rushing and ended up voiding our order on accident because he was rushing and pushed the wrong button and had to do it again. And instead of asking us again he tried to do everything off memory. Then the computer froze. It took us about 15 min to order our food which was unfortunate because I wanted to see the previews to movies but we missed it because we were peeing our food. Then as we were ordering he missed things we ordered because last transaction was voided so my wife and I went over our order again in detail. Once that mess was done we went to our theater an the food came and they messed up on my wife burger. The recite had all the right info so not sure how it was still wrong. Also there wasn’t enough space for our food. The chairs are nice and relaxing but the small tray to put your food on is not enough for multiple things. The movie was ok and once movie started everything was fine but the customer service there is really disappointing

Very comfy seats, but food service was terrible. I ordered a burger, pretzel bites and a Coke (For $34) and after an hour and 20 minutes I went to check on it. They told me the tried to find me 5 times. I was in seat B 17 in theatre 6, which is also what they had on the ticket. My order was sitting there, and I told them to remake it. The manager came and had them remake it, and he gave me the money back for the burger and pretzel bites. Satisfied with solution, but still annoyed it happened.

Best movie experience, comfy seats and cozy auditorium. Food options are splendid and food is great!! Perfect for a date night.

AMC DINE-IN Northbrook is literally the BEST movie theatre in the area! Assigned seating, recliner chairs, full bar, kitchen to seat food service and dinner menu! I’m proud to say that my wife and I are AMC stubs A-List members and come to this theatre three times a week!

Dinner in was great, I ordered my food and went to sit down in the theatre, they delivered it to me promptly. Very convenient. Food was great, too, fresh and just as I ordered.

Nice. Audio wasnt too loud. Perfect seating. Tables attached to the seats was annoying for a second but thats the purpose of dining. Easy access in and not too hot or cold during movie.

Came to this Theater because it was a “DINE-IN” theater. So only thing that was available was your normal theater food. All types of food were not available. Theater is also very dirty doesn’t look like the floors have been vacuumed since the carpet was installed, the bathrooms were nasty. The chairs are comfortable and do recline. The only thing positive. If your wanting a great Dine-in and great experience I highly recommend the CMX theater at the Orchard.

DO NOT GO! There are RATS IN THIS THEATER. I went there yesterday (5/11/19) with my bf to see the new Pokémon movie. My inhaler fell under my seat and when I went to grab it there was a RAT UNDER MY SEAT! I couldn’t even grab my inhaler there was so much popcorn underneath (probably never been cleaned) and that was a buffet for that rat. My inhaler is gone that’s $60 of my medicine lost To paying them $16 a movie ticket and then over priced popcorn that their staff can’t even clean. That theater is better for rats then humans, disgusting.

Really nice theater and cool place.

This place is so musty and smelly. It smells like urine and armpit throughout the theater. When I went to the 3rd floor restroom, it reeked of urine. I wouldnt go there again unless they burned down the theater and rebuilt it.

I always go to the AMC DINE-IN Northbrook Court 14 theater whenever I want to see a movie. The DINE-IN food is great, and they have a large selection to choose from like burgers, hotdogs, salads, and a wide variety of beverages.The actual viewing experience is wonderful too. You get to have reclining seats in all the theaters and the movie quality is great.

There staff isnt that good but they had good popcorn

We took advantage of the on-line ticket purchase and were able to reserve our four seats together. So even though it was crowded and we didnt arrive early, we had our seats. Comfy reclining seats. Clean. No waiting for the ladies bathroom. It was all you could want for a theatre experience.

Service was very good. Movie theater was very clean and the seats were spacious and comfortable. Experience was very good. Only complaint is the washroom needed to be clean.

We love this theater for the dine-in and bar amenities especially, but the service from the manager Colin took it to the next level yesterday. I bought tickets to a movie a few weeks ahead (thinking opening night was a Friday). My tickets were for Thursday, so we showed up a day late! Colin didnt even sweat it and gave us new tickets in good seats for a show one hour later. The seamlessness of customer service here has kept us coming back (honestly, we never really went to the movies before but we love this place now). Plus, David is a character we have come to enjoy seeing as well.

This place is awful. Its the closest theater with recliners which we enjoy very much but on a few occasions both me and another family member have had to go to the concession stand to see when our food would be ready and the completely forgot to bring it out to us. Tonight we arrived at the movies about 15 min. after the previews began and we had about 10 min of previews left to see. We just barely got in the door as the young woman was locking them at 815pm. I am aware the last show is at 8pm but still I think thats a little early. I could see them locking 5 min after the start time. There were still seats available. As soon as we walk in the concession stand appeared to be closing. I asked a kid if we could still get a salad or something and he paused for a moment and said ah, we are pretty much closed. The volume in the theater was soft enough I could hear everyones movements and every bite they took. That was the last straw. The lights were dimmed but it seemed to bright. Now I aware the lights might be just me at this point being completely annoyed but at this point after so many times of giving this place a chance I was aggravated as hell and we walked out. I should mention the last time we were there this kid who clearly has a good work ethic was very helpful at the concession stands. He has long brown hair. At the end of my order he said well it looks like I will be getting you everything cause all of my coworkers are hanging out chatting and they were. Im aware we are dealing with teenagers but I could never get away with that when I had this kind of job as a teen. Terrible terrible service. Where the heck are the managers?
