Quiet and peaceful. Trails are clear but not smooth. Ok for kids but probably not really young ones. The second and third ponds are the most scenic but take a while to get to. On the very far tip of third pond we found wild grapes - they smelled so good!

I love this place just to relax and sit by a quiet little lake, theres a great few branch offs of the trails too that lead to some beautiful finds. Lots of great mushrooms and birds too!

Beautiful place for a walk in nature with the family. Easy trail, lots of mature pine, and oak. Views of streams and ponds. Run by the Audubon society. Maps available at the trail head. Parking lot was extremely muddy on warm day in January, but trail was dry. Our very leisurely stroll with elementary age children on the blue loop trail took about 1 1/2 hours because of many detours to explore and stops to look at nature. No dogs allowed and no jogging allowed.

A short ( for me) hike that is perfect for a quick getaway, and for parents with children. Trails are well marked, and parking has improved by putting gravel on the muddy lot that is there off RT. 5

Home away from home for me. Great spot to walk through and clear your mind, especially when you get to the pond. Some words of caution before going here, bring plenty of bug spray because the mosquitoes will eat you alive.

A wonderful place to enjoy the great outdoors. No bicycles no animals no vehicles... Strickley nature! There are two main loops which are connected by a short Trail that cross under high tension lines. There are cross-sections to these Loop so it makes it so you can do three or four different length hikes. If youre quiet youre likely to see a great deal of Wildlife. In any event, its great to hike! Trail maps at the trailhead make it easy to navigate.
