Beautiful paths to explore nature! The walking trails are all very well kept and signs are easy to locate. They have many different paths to choose from and each one holds it’s own adventure. Great place to bring the kids, paths are plenty wide and flat enough to easily push strollers on. Many trash and recycling receptacles are located along the paths so please do be kind and use them. They have a portable potty at the main entrance. The nature center itself is closed right now due to the pandemic, but still many outdoor areas to see. Great place to get out and exercise too, the steps are a cardio workout all by themselves and we saw many people running, biking, and walking their leashed dogs. Plenty of parking available and many of the paths are paved and handicap accessible but not all are due to steps and unpaved areas off the main paths.

It is an amazing preservation of nature. You can walk numerous trails that all seem to connect to a huge staircase of 156 stairs along a cliff side. The stair case was recently redone and it is in very good shape. It is very secure. Its a great work out! Im not sure if the actual nature center is open but it is a great way to enjoy the metroparks and to see some nice plants you may not know of!

Amazing trails on the ground level and cliff level! 2 sets of stairs, one very steep and one much less steep. Was able to climb and descend both sets easily with my 6 year old. Some trails are easy to get lost in as there are barely any signs for directions.

This is a great place to bring children and dogs or to come by yourself. I think the inside is wheelchair accessible. There is a reading play/tree house inside and animals to look at. There is an observation deck to view the river. Outside there are beautiful walking trails and a grand sraircase that provides great exercise, requires great exertion and offers a beautiful view of the river. One of my favorites.

One of my favorite places to go! Lots to learn and lots to see. There are many trails to walk and a future upcoming project, they are adding a special bridge to the area. I love how easy it is to learn about all the different plants and trees that are in the parks. You can find custom display cards telling you what kind of plant or tree that is there, it also tells you how they are important. Very clean place to be and I myself have never seen anything out of place or anything dangerous. There is a lot to do with your children and if you like to run and exercise, this is your place to be. Go make a memory today, go out and play.

Nature center is closed due to covid. The park around the center is beautiful. Many walking trails with forest views and cliffs by the river. Recommend 135 steps to see a gorgeous view of the river or having a Rocky feeling when you reach the top step.

Great trails! I love bringing my dog here to swim in the river! WAY too many people keep their dogs off leash though. There are plenty of signs saying dogs must be on a leash I have had many dogs run from their owner toward me which is intimidating since most are very large dogs.

Always a fun place to visit. Nature has plenty of displays with information detailing the local plant and animal life. Big tree house for the kids to play inside. Wonderful views on the decks over looking the Rocky River. They also have a store and library on site. They put on plenty of activities throughout the year for Adults and kids alike. Surrounded by trails it has a bit everything from the weekend walker to those looking to work up a sweat. Always check back to see what new and interesting events they have going on.

Such a lovely place to visit in every season! The nature center has something for everyone- reading room, live animals, bird watching area, kids area, gift shop, hiking trails and so much more. We attended the popular Birds of Prey event - free, well organized, educational, fun, live birds. Highly recommend you stop in for a visit plus the river is beautiful.

Four fabulous walking trails, a wonderful visitor center and a great view of the river. What’s nice is each trail is different. There is one want high hilltop with a steep staircase. One is long and flat. In the summer you can follow the Lagoon Trail and see turtles sunning themselves on the logs. This place would be great for anyone of any age group to enjoy.

We are blessed in Cleveland to have such precious, stunning parks so close by. Of the Metro Parks this, perhaps is one of the more humble, but is still full of things to do and its a gem. The Nature Center is a great way to start or end a hike, or visit it in its own. The staff were friendly and answered my questions. Outside the trails were short, but have some steep hill climbs and the views from the hill tops are pretty. A good place for kids or those who cant hike long distances. Go and enjoy!
