Very nice! Rooms in need of an updating but not useless just old good quality items. Need more security to tow people who park like the one picture. Our truck is much larger and we fit fine in a spot with a little wiggling in. Although parking for people who cant drive like this guy they have an outdoor lot with no lines to use as well! What you see on the news about Myrtle and Carona....... Well I seen nothing going on like that here. I am so glad we didnt back out of our trip! We had our 80 year old great Grandmother with us all is fine!

The room was clean the staff was nice and helpful. They practice social distancing. It was a seen and described over the internet and the beds are comfortable. I would definitely come back.

We arrived very late. It was extremely dark. The sign is not in a very noticeable place until you are right up on it. Which is past where you turn into the parking lot. Our check in was very smooth. Our condo was perfect! Everything you need. Love having the washer & dryer in the unit especially since youre right on the beach. Which was a huge plus. My daughter & I took a nice long walk after dinner. It was dark by then however felt very safe on the beach. Youre also close to everything. Several grocery stores within 4 miles. We did order out our 1st night since it was late. We ordered from an Italian place Del??? HORRIBLE!! Meatballs were the kind you buy from the freezer section, the sauce had no favor, chicken fettuccine was horrible you couldnt eat. Thank goodness we had some snacks. Just great staying in a condo compared to a hotel room. Nice to have all the convenience of home. Just wish my husband could of came.

One of my favorite vacation spots!!! Beachfront with access to heated pool and jacuzzi. Right down the street to all the restaurants and shops... Great place to relax and unwind... you gotta get down here to experience my happy place yall!!!

Stayed by a timeshare trade. Had a good room, clean and I like to cook some meals, the kitchen was well equipped. The pools were clean and opened/closed at set times. Beachfront was great.

Checked in, small slow elevators, took the stairs 3 floors to find out card didnt work. Folks already waiting on elevators on the floor. Took the stairs again. Card works, hard to card the desk phone didnt. Someone unplugged it from the wall. Desk not really polite, and seemed less than content with his job. Rooms were adiquite but nothing to write home about nor note worthy.

I have been staying at Shore Crest for years. My late grandmother was a deeded owner and I have returned every year as I have several family members that visit. Every year I have returned, the resort and grounds have improved. The old elevators which used to be problematic in Tower 1 were replaced and now operate quite efficiently. The pool areas have received several updates including new slip-resistant tile and landscaping. Inside the units, new furniture and handicapped-friendly amenities. They replaced the garden tubs in the master with a beautiful shower. Everything was clean and the staff was so friendly. We look for Gary and Dan “Spanky” every year because of how helpful they are. I look forward to returning in the years to come.

Great Oceanfront condos, very nice accomodations, WiFi is NOT secure, so be careful. Otherwise, this place is GREAT!

Older property, very clean, nice staff, very secure, security guards walking around property 24/7, lots of parking, very accommodating, enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Great restaurants close by.We had the marsh view due to booking so late but it was still a lovely view, especially at night.

We are bluegreen owners and love to travel!! We are here for New years week and our first visit to this resort. The outdoor pool and lazy river in building 2 is heated and with the warm weather the kids have been enjoying themselves for sure! Close to barefoot landing, eateries and grocery stores are nearby. The indoor pool is not heated in building 1. We have had a great time and looking forward to the rest of our week. Although one of the oldest resorts, it is well kept and updated.

Checked in on a Monday evening. Isaias was making its way through so nasty weather.. Got the room through Air BNB. As soon as we checked in we were stopped by a lady on the way out of the lobby about becoming a member & that if we spend 2 hours at a presentation we get a week vacation somewhere free. Here we are 7 hour car ride 2 kids with us and not even settled in the room or and we are getting badgered to spend time out of our vacation trip listening to a sales pitch. Get to our room and it appeared mostly clean. Entertainment center & dressers were dusty on top, also the freezer has a seal that was supposed to be sealed and fresh ice in the ice maker, however it wasnt sealed nor was there ice in the freezer. Get settled & go to dinner. Upon returning we go to get the kids showered, turn on the exhaust fan and it shakes the ceiling so bad we think its going to fall out so we turn it off. As we get the kids showered & turn it off the handle falls off. Report the issues to the front desk, they send someone to fix the handle and say the rest will be handled in the morning. I go to take a shower & the handle comes loose again. Next morning we report the issues to the desk & they got them resolved satisfactorily. Its a decent resort with a great view & friendly staff, but for the $225 a night pricetag I would expect the rooms to be flawless & everything in working order, not have fixtures rusting & dust on furniture nor cobwebs/dust on all the sprinkler heads. If you park in the lower level of the garage avoid the corner spots the fill with a lot of water. Deep enough tennis shoes will get soaked trying to get in your car. This was 2 days after the storm when just rain had passed through.

Check in 2 hours late because the room wasnt ready. When we got it the room the trash hadnt been taken out! Ask if they would compensate, maybe an hour later check out and they said no. Another sales pitch in the middle of the day to accommodate them! Sales man was all happy until we said no, then his attitude changed. Never saw any cleaning staff. Would not stay there again.

The staff in this establishment is top-notch friendly and very eager to assist and take care of any of your needs. We had an ocean facing balcony on third floor and it was beautiful and clean, well stocked with some pleasantries such as paper towels laundry detergent etc We had a small issue with the master shower handle being stripped and it took a few attempts for maintenance to get it taken care of but they worked with our schedule and was very courteous and polite. Outside by the pool area there is a bar grill kind of small outbuilding that they serve drinks and some burgers and dog kind of menu. fantastic if you want a cocktail but dont want to have to leave the premises. Front desk staff recommended a few places to eat throughout our weekday and we tried them all and were very very pleased with the quality and overall experience of these restaurants.also in the outside entertainment area by the pools are three charcoal grills that are cleaned daily and covered at night. We stay at Myrtle Beach every year and this is our first time with this company and we will return.

This is our fourth year at this resort. The service at the front desk is phenomenal, and I love both walking to the beach and then walking to the lazy river afterwards, before I go back to our suite for dinner.

The customer service was impeccable! Everything was clean and accommodating...I will stay there AGAIN!!!

We are owners and have been for a long time. We typically love our vacations with all the BG resorts but during this time I was not impressed with how they were handling things. There was no cleaner at the pools to clean chairs or rafts after use nor were guests told or encouraged to do so after use. I didnt find cleaner in the fitness rooms even though they removed all the towels and roped off some of the equipment to ensure social distancing. The staff were not very clear on restrictions or instructions and I found myself calling several times to ask what to do. I understand that it is my risks for traveling and staying in a resort, i just wish they would have done better with communication and safety measures.

Very pleasant and relaxing resort, located in the quieter and less touristy North Myrtle Beach area. Wonderful expanses of white sand beaches for those who enjoy the natural, or choose from a variety of indoor or outdoor heated pools. Typical Bluegreen experience... excellent, comfortable condo accommodations, newly renovated in a type of retro look... would not be our first choice for decor, but Im sure others would disagree... regardless... comfortable, cozy with nice little balcony and combined city/ocean view. Overall... happy experience

This place was beautiful! The room was clean and comfortable. Access to the beach was great. The lazy river needs to be much bigger and more tubes need to be provided. The pool was nice.

I love this place. The rooms are cozy, the amenities are really good. We only used the indoor pool and hot tub because of the weather but we loved the pool, bar and lazy river during the summer! Photos are our view off the balcony.

Excellent stay at this location. Granted, this is a Bluegreen resort, so you either have to be an owner are get a stay through someone else, but it is a nice place. Very clean and quiet on the property. There are two buildings here and we stayed on the one right on the water. Will certainly stay there again at some point. The only complaint I have would be the shower head was weak, but other than that it was great.

Clean and the staff is friendly. The pools were clean (tile line could use some work and pavers re-sanded and set) our stay was great and the planned activities were nice too.

We love this resort. We have fixed week (21) and we have a two bedroom beach front corner room. Its always beautiful when we come and we love to sit on our balcony and enjoy the view that God has created. Shorecrest1 sits off the main road in North Myrtle beach and is quiet and relaxing. Theres a hot tub, nice pool and a good sized lazy river. The staff are nice, helpful, and professional. The worst thing about a vacation here is having to leave. There are lots of things for families to do, movie, putt putt golf, shopping and lots of shows.Our favorite seafood place to eat is Crabby Mikes at Surfside. HUGE BUFFET, pricey, $36.99 for all you can eat crab legs, prime rib, and lots more. The crab legs are the best, crack and the crab slides right out.

I love Shorecrest. We are BlueGreen wonders and this is the 2nd time staying at Shorecrest Villas 2. We can never get into Villas 1 but never mind it. The beach is right across the street and we still get a beautiful sunset view over the marsh. Staff are so friendly at each and every BlueGreen resort we’ve stayed at.

Refurbished large ocean view room was outstanding! The view and balcony was great, but the upgraded kitchen and bathroom made the stay the best. Very spacious 2 bedroom with all the amenities of home. Can’t wait to go back!

Great location close to the beach, barefoot landing and lots of other attractions. Smooth check in and easy parking. Overall clean and as described. For those that have struggled... the lobby is on the 1st floor (ground floor is parking lot).

Shore Crest is a wonderful place to stay. It is a 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive to Barefoot Landing,which has lots of shops and restaurants. The hotel is very clean and inviting. When you reserve a room be sure you call in advance to find out what Villa youre staying in. Villa I is beach front and Villa II is across the street but, some rooms still have ocean views. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely book here again.

I enjoyed my vacation at Shore Crest because everything I needed was in my huge space (full kitchen, chinawares, silver ware, glasses, pots and pans, washer and dryer, vacuum cleaner, broom, comfortable sleep every night, and anything you think a home away from home would have). I loved the privacy... and parking was in the building! Thanks to my awesome son.. BEST VACATION EVER!!!Shopping was close and lots to do in the area! Get these pillows for the BEST SLEEP EVER!!!

A great resort to stay at but with nice staff but the Arcade was gone and it is a little bit of a older place although while me and some of my family was there, the resort was getting a new painting job done to it and the room looked like it was recently renovated.

Our room was excellent, some utilities were missing but management easily fixed this. The location is further away from the main pier than desired, but there is a very nice plaza full of shops and restaurants across the way. Utilize your coupons provided by bluegreen during your stay!

Very close to the beach, the chlorine in the pools is overwhelming, the two twin beds were falling a part, the master king was butted up to the tub directly on the tile and like a rock, the trundle bed in the couch was a nightmare. One night I slept on the bench you sit on to eat at the table. The dishwasher was broken and rigged, the beds were awful and we all had severe back pain. The fridge blocks the whole extra counter. The stove and microwave were great! The showers and bath tubs were good! The parking was great midseason. The outside pool areas and bbq grill areas were good. During peak season parking will be a nightmare. Thats all...

Great vacation. We enjoyed the pool and beach immensely. The rooms were clean and staff very helpful. My young son had a night of illness and they helped me find new sheets for his bed at one in the morning.

This is a very nice resort. It is on Ocean Blvd so right on the ocean. Rooms area spacious, very clean and nicely decorated. As a Bluegreen owner I have never been disappointed in any of their resorts.

This place was great. Room was clean and well kept for an older building. Renovations were going on but were not inconvenient to the guests. The pools were nice (all 3 of them) and offered hot tubs and lazy rivers. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.

The Villa was great. Our first time staying here! Could use another skillet on the kitchen. Amazing to have a washer/dryer in the unit, never seem that before! All the pools were great, tho the music at Villa 1 seemed too loud at times. At peak times, about 2 or 3 more elevators would really help. We had to let 7 elevators go by caz we cud not fit with the luggage carrier, like 20 minutes waiting for one that was empty and this was on a Friday, not the usual checkout day in Sat. Great room, loved it!Loved the beach this year as usual... but I can DEFINITELY tell that things are changing in the city in the past 12 years weve been coming. If we stayed at the hotel, we were fine.. but leaving to go downtown was a little nerve wrecking. A lot of drinking, cussing and drugs going on RIGHT in front of tourists along the boardwalk &other areas.. Horray County needs to clean this up or youre gonna lose a lot of ppl to cleaner, nicer more family oriented locations.

First time to Myrtle Beach and not disappointed with the stay.Had a marsh view, a beach view would have been preferable, but what can you do? The beach was a short walk, shorter than any other beach weve been to. We live in Nebraska so thats a jaunt. The staff was amazing and the daily activities were fun and there were some for adults as well as children. I would stay here again. My husband and I were actually surprised at how comfy the king size bed was.

All I can say is WOW! Totally unacceptable, my family has been members for over 15 years with Bluegreen. We have been to this vacation spot several times in the past but this trip is unacceptable on any level. We were in the second villa. The room was not clean, grease on the kitchen counters, dirt on the table and crumbs on the bench style chair. That was just the beginning, my wife and I were in the master bedroom and my daughter was in the second bedroom with twin beds. About 3am the bed broke and my daughter slid out the bed and hit the closet door, it startled her and us to hear her screamed. After checking on her she went back to sleep in the other twin bed. I tired to contact the front desk but the phone didnt work and then I tired the lobby in the second villa but it was closed so I just waited until checkout to go to villa one and I informed the desk clerk what had occurred. As you see from the pictures it was not a good stay at Shore Crest Vacation Villas.Later on the day after check out the manager left a message for us to contact her regarding the incident. The next day several calls were made only to receive her voice mail. My wife finally left a message on Tuesday afternoon. Again on Wednesday my wife called several times and voicemail again and left another message. This entire ordeal has been unreal and unsatisfying.

Great hotel! Service was fast,easy & friendly. Anything we needed they were happy to get it for us. The rooms was clean even behind furniture. The building & hallways was clean. The pools & lazy river was great for the kids break from the sun & ocean but still stay cool & having fun in water.The hotel was conveniently localed close to resturants,gas stations,shopping centers & grocery stores.I will definitely keep this place in mind for future vacations! Thanks for making our family week together affordable!

Great getaway with the grandkid.not alot of parking if you stay at the one facing the oceanfront. You have to park across the street.not a big kitchen area. Has a washer/ dryer in the unit that was nice.

This was a messed up stay. Our room was not available until the day after our arrival. We moved into our room and settled in for what was supposed to be a pleasant stay. Didnt happen.. we started noticing a foul smell in our kitchen.. got so bad we had to move again! Seems like a dead rat was in the sewer line! After moving into our third room we were finally satisfied! The staff that took care of us were super nice and went to great lengths to make us happy. Natalie was the lady that took such good care of us. We stayed two weeks and aside from having to root around to find parking it was a pleasant stay although everything was outdated.

This is a great hotel. It has really nice employees and its fun to be at, plus its right next to the beach. The rooms themselves are really nice, just not necessarily very clean.

My family have been owners of bluegreen owners for slightly a year, we have been to Mytrle Beach several times and decided to try this resort out! This resort is beyond great! Amazing and very Caring people, while we was on our vacation we had some car issues, being out of state and away from home with 4 children was very stressful, almost turned out vacation into a nightmare, thankfully the resort was very caring and the maintenance man Wick and Spanky (Im pretty sure is what he called himself) was extremely helpful, Wick gave my husband a lift to town and to get what he needed, and they gave us reassurance that we would not be stranded if we was unable to get our vehicle fixed in time for check out! They showed absolutely nothing but care! Very amazing people!The rooms was very nice and clean, the beds and furniture was nice and clean, showers anf tubs was very well kept!!! the only thing that I would consider for an idea is to upgrade the pots and pans, only one small skillet for 6 people isnt good for making a meal, you can request crock pots and griddles at this resort which was extremely wonderful! My family will definitely be returning for another visit and staying with Shore Crest!

Very nice but very expensive to not be oceanfront. Only timeshare owners are aloud in Villa 1 which is oceanfront, and I am not interested in a timeshare. Viewed other hotel websites and saw the same amenities for a more reasonable price and its oceanfront. Will be trying other properties outside of Bluegreen.

Room was clean except for some stains on rug. Beds nice and comfortable. Shower had terrible water pressure. Called to tell them and they replaced shower head, but made no difference. Great location, Stayed here several times before as we are owners but dont know if well be back.

Old bldg. no air condition on the elevators..paint peeling on bldg. One tiny frying pan I called downstairs but they said it was the biggest one they had!! so I had to cook one piece of meat at a time and there were seven of us staying! But the views and the beach were beautiful!

We have vacationed here for 20 years. Spotlessly clean,upgraded on a regular basis. Well appointed kitchens for those of us who love to cook. Lovely pool area with a hot tub and a lazy river, all of which have handicapped lift to assist with entry and exit.

Convenient location, room set up was nice. Lazy river was awsome.

This place is in N. Myrtle Beach. One block from beach. The unit was nice but needed some repairs in the kitchen. Nice balcony but it over looked the back streets. We knew ahead we did not book a oceanfront, but was nice as a base for our trips around the areas. There was a good restaurant around the main rd called Greg Normans. We went for lunch since it is less expensive. We would stay there again but there are so many resorts up in that area.

Me take a short vacation every year and have stayed here for numerous years. These are just fun nice comfortable on the beach motels. Actually theyre not motels this is part of Blue Green that we are owners of. They are well maintained well lit very clean very friendly just immaculate grounds right on the beach and I like that period I can walk out of my motel barefooted walk across the parking lot which is a few feet and I am on beach sand and thats wonderful. Their exclusive they are private I dont have to worry about any kind of weird is going on around us there in a nice area family oriented vacation oriented just very nice. I suggest you looking to blue green and become a member we have amenities all over the world that you could be a part of inexpensively. Take a vacation with your family while their little I am now taking vacations with my children and my grandchildren I wish I would have done this earlier. I missed a lot of years.. Ill not do that again and miss anymore
