Nice park choices. Circular walking path. Couple of playgrounds one shaded in a grove. Tennis courts. Benches and picnic tables. Including a large covered area for parties. Modest amount of parking.

Its usually clean. There is alot of speca between the different units to play on and they have tennis even a nice nature trail with clean and monitered building for restrooms with a large gazebo where u can see the turtle and a fountain spring.

Lovely place to have a picnic. lots of picnic tables, nice playground equipment, and a lovely foot path. i stopped by main slice on main Street in north myrtle beach for pizza and brought it to McLean Park to enjoy!

We go everytime we are at my parents beach house. We love to come feed the and . Love it and only problem i had was there was a homeless guy who sleeps out there and liters his beer bottles everywhere.

The first time I came to this park it looked and felt like a tucked away Oasis. Its very beautiful and definitely a great place to relax, and still be close to the beach. Its also great to exercise and have the little ones play and run around.The neighborhood surrounding the park is also beautiful. The fact that the beach and countless shopping and dining areas are around, makes this park the perfect place to send the day!

A true hidden gem of North Myrtle Beach. Always comfortable in temperature. Something for everyone! Theres a walking path, tennis court, baseball field and 2 playgrounds side by side. They also have conveniently located restrooms on site. The local chapter of the Lions Club hosts movie nights in the park, too.

It is a nice peaceful place to visit there are also grills where you can cook out.

Great, centrally located public TENNIS COURTS! The courts are in great condition.The signage for play is posted for 1 hour singles and w hours for doubles. Everyone was respectful for the time on the 2 courts that are available. When finished playing there was an ice cream truck playing music and delivering cold happiness!

Very nice park. Must be recently remodeled. Nice and new equipment with a baseball field nearby. Plenty of parking surrounding the park although during a baseball game Im sure its hectic. The navigation took us, what I thought was down a dead end but this park with a pond magically appeared. I did not see a sprinkler for kids to run through. Nice area with either mulch safety beds or rubber padding.

We always visit this park when we are on our summer vacation, we enjoy the tennis courts and the pavilion has a barbecue grill where we grill steaks and have a picnic. Park also has a baseball field and has always been clean with no overflowing garbage cans

This park is beautifully maintained and has a variety of spaces to enjoy.There is a pond with a short boardwalk and gazebo over the water that is a lovely spot to watch ducks, turtles and fish.The park has several picnic structures, each with a charcoal grill and tables. The tennis courts are free to use and are kept clean and tidy.I love the walking path that surrounds the park. The pavement is even, mostly in the shade and slightly hilly in parts.My dog loves treeing squirrels in the wooded area. The park provides poop bags for cleaning up after your pet and its a popular spot for joggers with dogs.There are bathrooms available near the big kid playground, which has recently been updated with some very cool play equipment. The little kid park is sandy and small but has a few swings, a slide and springy teeter-totters. There is a quiet garden area across the pond with a fountain and seasonal plants.The only downside Ive found here is that parking is limited, especially when there is an event at the park or nearby. Even with that small inconvenience it is totally worth a visit!

A really nice park not too far from the beach! There is a playground for little kids and then down the hill, theres a playground for bigger kids! There is also a nice walking path.

So where do I start? I reserved the gazebo and the big picnic shelter for my outdoor wedding on June 2, 2019. Reservation process was easy and the park was beautiful.. BUT.... in the reservation policies I received in an email, it states that there is electricity and at the park there are outlets, but the electricity did NOT work on my wedding day. Therefore, my husband and I were not able to do our first dance and I was not able to do my dance with my father nor was he able to dance with his mother. That is super upsetting to me. Also, the fountain was not on that day, which was pretty disappointing. My wedding still turned out to be a great day, but not being able to do our dances that we wanted to do was pretty upsetting for both me and my husband. I love the location and it is a beautiful park, but I will not be reserving the shelter or gazebo again. Pretty disappointing!

Very clean. Its a great place for birthday parties and family reunions. Theres two playgrounds one for kids under 5 and one for older kids. Both of them are a good size and extremely well kept. Theres a lot of open area and the pond is beautiful. Honestly its just a great place to hang out and enjoy yourself.

Movie in the park by NMB Rec was great. Park had cool swings for older and younger kids. Nestled in a community, you wouldnt even realize your short walk to beach.

Great park for Kids to play, families to cookout, exercise and just for relaxing looking at the ducks,turtles etc on the pond. Cool, shaded so not too hot. Really done well and is taken care of wonderfully by the City of North Myrtle Beach.

Its a great place to take your Lil ones. Ours loved it. Lots of things for the kids to do. As always you must keep an eye on them and be a Parent.

Nice place to come walk. My granddaughter practices softball here on weekends. Also has nice playgrounds for toddlers and another for older children. Picnic areas are very nice too.

I walk my pups there. Cute little park. Ball field, tennis courts, picnic areas and a pavilion for get togethers. Has a nice gazebo over the pond. Bathrooms and water fountains even one for dogs.

We watched a movie on a blow up projection screen and it was awesome. Fun for the whole family.

Nice clean park located in the heart of North Myrtle Beach. Has kids play ground, gazebo over pond, 2 tennis courts, little league baseball size field, shelters with picnic tables and walking trails. Mostly shaded for those hot summer days. Pets welcomed too.

Our kids love it. Have been going for years, but when we go to look for fish,. There are homeless people and beer cans in the kiosk!

It was awesome. We enjoyed the cleanliness, the close proximity to stores. The bathroom proved to be a challenge for some.

This is where to bring the older kids over about 8 years old. Central park is best for the younger ones. Local teens, and tweens like to hang out at McLean. They have free outdoor movies in season, lots of shelter for birthday parties, a lake with ducks, some equipment for the toddlers. Too many events than I can write. Check them online.

Take my son here all the time. Been living here for over 20 years and they have renovated playgrounds twice since then. They have a public book drip for kids. Take a book leave a book. They city of nmb has done a wonderful job with maintaining this park. Thank you guys, my son is a frequent visitor : )

The best park around

Nice park with playground and pond. Went there for tennis. 2 courts, both in good shape. Lighted. Close parking. Bench in between. Fences behind the baselines were a tad close for deep lobs but otherwise a solid place to play.

Great hidden gem. Tucked away behind Hoskins Restaurant. Kids play area completely redone and fun. Area for older kids also well equipped. Love the pond and gazebo always lots of turtles that love crackers. Walking paths, restroom available and a beautiful meditation garden. Picnic tables and a couple of shelters too. Love this park.

Clean, lots of options for shading and seating. We set up some games in the grass and it was pretty level and still shady.

We were here because of Pokemon Go and Wizards United this visit but it is a great park.

Weve always had open and free tennis courts there that are clean and well maintained.

I really enjoy this local park. Two playgrounds for kids, large picnic pavilion, gazebo by the pond to watch the fish and turtles. My favorite part is a little tucked away fountain in the shade. I wish the fountain was better maintained, but the rest of the park is lovely, nice little walking trail and just a couple blocks from the beach.

I have been coming to McLean park since I was a small child and even though it has changed quite a bit over the last 20 years it is still a very nice place to walk and let the kids play.
